Visited this cafe for a light brunch, I ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough toast with poached eggs. What I was actually served was poached eggs on sliced white bread toast with a smear of guacamole. I would suggest in the future if certain items from the menu are not available it would be better to inform the customer rather than substitute with much inferior ingredients and hoping that this goes unnoticed.

This place is dirty, took me 6 attempts to find clean cutlery. Order the driest wrap, half of ham slice and half of a bacon strip, off salad for £7 Supposed to be with crips but according to the waitress, what's on the menu needs to be update... And if I wanted crips I must pay extra... Ordered a smoothy, was waiting behind and have seen she dropped my strow on the floor and put it back in my cup... Won't go back even for a free meal...

Even though they close at 16:00, we went in at 15:00 to be told that since they have 'washed up already' the coffee and cake would be served in takeaway cups, so didn't have the cake (don't like plastic cutlery).....also the coffee flavour wasn't as good now (don't know if that is because not being served in china anymore?

I asked for an omelette and instead of the toast it came with just extra salad on the side. Plus a bowl of chips. Waitress clearly not listening and bought out toast, few chips and small salad. Didn’t think it was a complex order. When I pointed out it wasn’t my order they were defensive. Won’t come here again.

Over priced breakfast costing £8.95 for 2 under cooked eggs, 2 bits of bacon, 1 sausage, small pot of cold beans, small slice of tomato, piece of toast then tea or coffee in dirty cups. Didn’t enjoy it, ended up leaving the eggs as was worried they would make me sick. Get more of a breakfast round the corner at weather-spoons for half the price. Wouldn’t mind paying the money if the food was good but it wasn’t & you would think for that price you would get 2 of everything or fill your plate.

I have visited this cafe a few times, since starting work at Visit Staines BID. The coffee is excellent and the staff are very good. Well worth a visit if going shopping in Staines. On the wall, they have a Business Award for Best Small Business in Staines. Highly recommended.

The food here used to be amazing, ordered a panini today and was disappointed. The choice has been cut down to absolute basics. The bacon was so fatty it was inedible, chicken poor quality and rubbery and about 3 bits in the whole panini. Used to be worth the extra cost as so nice, now not worth it as the sandwiches from the high street chains are actually better. Such a shame.

Price for a full English doubled where it says roasted tomato it is only a very thin slice of a tomato daylight robbery

Heard some live music coming from the walkway. Cafe Gusto had a some musicians giving it large outside so we sat at a table had some chilled bottled beer and some wine and enjoyed the music. Not sure if this is a regular Saturday night thing but it should be, great couple of hours.

Popped in for a coffee and a muffin which was good staff are very friendly annd a pleasant place to relax

Went there last night for the second time since the refurbishment, what an improvement, glad to the waitress Sonia was still there and being as efficient as ever, keep up the good work.

So I decided on a cold Saturday morning to treat myself to a one off treat, full English breakfast. On seeing a very enticing picture outside this cafe I went in. First disappointment no black pudding as pictured. On receiving the breakfast the bacon was EXTREMELY over cooked so much so if you tried to chew it you would have broken a tooth. Conclusion to this the bacon had been zapped in the microwave beyond belief. All in all a great disappointment and well not a full English breakfast as there were no mushrooms, black pudding or fried bread and what you get looks nothing like the picture on the board outside the restaurant. All in all very poor and a grave misrepresentation. My advice look elsewhere in Staines for your full English breakfast

Was passing this place and decided to stop in here for a pint they had two beers on tap black swan and white swan very nice too, had a one man band playing blues called papa George who was absolutely amazing. The premises is quite small but very cosy the staff were very nice and the service was great. Had a great night in here.

Went on Saturday morning ordered the omelet For me and salmon salad for partner. The salmon had brown marks on the edge and the salmon was not edible. Not great. I don’t get why the kitchen would serve such a sad looking piece of salmon....

Best coffee in Staines and surrounding areas. Great choice of Mediterranean options of food. Good atmosphere and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Is popular with all age ranges and good to see that they support local businesses through their availability of local beer in their evening micropub.

High level coffe and service. We arrived 2 adults with 2 childrens and we coulden't ask for more. The breakfast was very good as well as the panini. Defintly we will return again(:

Terrible service, waited over 40 minutes for food to arrive and both dishes were incorrect on arrival. After waiting a further 10 minutes one dish was cold so had to return for second time. Member of staff didn’t seem bothered and when food was delivered for third time it was barely edible as potato was so dried out. After eating only half of the portion I did ask if I could have a reduction on the bill, but was refused. Very disappointing, very slow service, would not recommend and will not be returning, it might have helped if the staff were more apologetic, but we just felt let down and unappreciated as customers.

A very nice cafe in Staines. I am italian and i like good espresso so I was very happy to find by chance this little coffe bar just off the high street . Then we tried their fresh pan au chocolate. Price are very good . Friendly and welcoming staff We will go happily there again soon :)

Fuimos esta mañana a las 10.30 horas. Mi ser ordenados. Me dijeron que tenía que esperar un rato para mi comida. Lo cual está bien. Por veintiún minutos después mi zumo de naranja tiene todavía ser servido. Por lo que pedí una de las chica española y me dijo que viene. Primero de todo cuánto se tarda a verter un vaso de jugo de naranja? ? No creo que estoy siendo irrazonable. En segundo lugar, ella aparentemente no estaba muy contenta cuando ella colocó el cristal en mi mesa con un golpe seco. Que era espantoso! Estar tan cerca de la mayoría de la gente no hasta ayudar pero me di cuenta de lo que está sucediendo alrededor del mostrador. Quizás las dos chicas españolas estaban demasiado ocupados charlando y les he interrumpido?

Encantador pequeño café que ofrece una comida a precios económicos, con un personal muy amable. Está situado en el centro de la ciudad y junto al parque dos ríos coche así que es muy fácil de encontrar.

Sólo las mejores palabras para Cafe entusiasmo. He estado varias veces a este lugar. Uno se siente como en casa. El personal es amable, agradable y divertido. La cantidad de comida es más que suficiente, y siempre recién hecha por el chef. Si no quieres algo del chef que siempre tienes la opción de un panini, envoltura o baguettes con cualquier combinación que quieras, o puedes imaginar! Por último, pero no menos importante. . . Soy un café muy divertidos, y en mi opinión hacen el mejor café en una proporción de 30 millas. Bien hecho a todos.

Located out of the way this is a lovely little cafe with some seating outside. It's very cosy and tight inside. A much larger range of food and drinks on offer than the size of the cafe indicates! Preferred to the major chains.

Es uno de esos lugares que le recuerda a su atareada vida lenta downs y disfrutar de un buen café. Asientos al aire libre agradable (con calor para el frío, lo cual es genial). Tiene un gran ambiente y el personal son gente muy agradable que siempre sirven con una sonrisa. He estado allí muchas veces y no tengo ninguna queja. Popped in what seemed like a lovely little cafe for lunch, serious attitude when my order wasn't right that was coming from what I can guess was the manager, as for the staff all miserable, be nice if they would crack a smile & maybe a customer service course because that wasn't very good from all members of staff!! Also witnessed hot drinks being served over prams with tiny babies in,that is a big no no walk round & serve your customers properly!!! And finally I saw ants running across the front of the deli counter which wasn't very clean, the manager was informed by myself but all I got in return was attitude!!!! I will never be setting foot back in this cafe!!! All I can say now is HEALTH & SAFETY WILL BE INFORMED, YOUR CAFE IS FILTHY!!!!!!!!!!

The second time around at this place, had to wait for an appointment so decided to go for a quick bite, sat outside, other people where served before me, mine came and was the opposite of what I ordered, the lady left so quickly before I could even say excuse me, as I didn't have much time and I could eat it anyway, I decided to just keep it, it was tasteless! and expensive for what it was... I was so disappointed as the place is quirky and seems to have a good ambiance, but if they can get it right only with some people, then there is no consistency.

Gusto serves excellent coffee straight from the bean, the quality is a cut above the big chain cafes. They serve a freshly cooked breakfast and falafals made to order - the best ones this side of Kingston. The menu is very varied and includes freshly made milkshakes and juices, cakes and homemade pastries and soup. They have outside heating and it is very relaxing to sit and have a coffee away from the noise of Staines centre. Really nice place for something different and tasty.

Fuimos allí para el desayuno con mi madre, muy pequeño dentro de las arreglamos para encontrar una mesa. aunque algunos prefieren sentarse fuera afortunadamente conseguimos calentadores. Pregunté específicamente y claramente lo que quería y parece parte del vocabulario inglés es un poco demasiado para ellos, ya que no lo opuesto a lo que pedí. Luego sus amigos vinieron y se quejaron que estaba caliente cuando estaban sentados por la ventana al lado de la puerta, así que la puerta estaba abierta y la calefacción estaba en- parece un poco sin sentido y a todos los demás en el café no era demasiado impresionado.

I went with my daughter. they didn't tell me the food was spicy and I told them mydaughter can't eat it and they said no they cant change it and they asked me to pay for it full price. very bad experience.

When we go to staines we try to visit Gusto but its quite small so we can not always get a seat but food is very good well served and freshly done

I had a coffee and sandwich there. Sandwich one of the worst I ever had. Tasteless and bland. Man behind the counter was arrogant, very poor English, very poor customer service. I would not recommend that place for lunch maybe coffee.I guess everyone can make coffee.

It's not a big chain like all the others in Staines and they make a smashing cup of coffee and serve a decent cooked breakfast. Their paninis are tasty too. We are regulars there and will continue to be.

The food was delicious. It was nice to sit outside. The place was let down by staff who struggled to smile or even answer. A newspaper was three days old.

Fancied a late breakfast / early lunch and found this small restaurant / cafe in Tilley's Lane whilst on the way elsewhere. Friendly, not too busy and well presented and tasty All-Day Breakfast and a Panini selected from a good variety on offer. Only down-side was the draught from the door as customers came and went, but little could be done about that.

I ordered and paid for £6.95 full breakfast at this place yesterday and what i got was very cheap food cooked without a care in the world. I refused to eat it and asked one of the ladies in charge if to refund me the money and keep the money for my cappuccino which by the way was cheap to. Not only she wasn't apologetic but she was rude and went further arguing that is nothing wrong with the food even though you culd see she was wrong if you were there. My point is avoid this place full stop.

The staff are always so friendly and the food is delicious! The seating area is quite small and it's often busy so it can often be better to take a sandwich to go. I would definitely recommend.

Had THE worst experience I've ever had in any cafe yesterday. I have been here once before to meet a friend and all was Ok, so I decided to pick up a coffee during my shopping trip. The lady served me with a smile when she gave me my coffee and said bye. I walked out of the door and about 10m down the road felt something hot on my hand. The lid wasn't secured properly and started running down the side, and was hurting me so I quickly turned back around and went back in as I had my other hand full and there were no tables anywhere to put the cup down on. As I approached the counter the loose lid came off and the flimsy cup folded so blistering hot coffee went all over my hands and on to the counter. I was in so much pain, as you would be if you had a large fresh coffee on your hands, and all the man behind the counter did was shout at me for throwing coffee everywhere and getting it on his cakes on the front. He didn't offer me any tissues or ice, and he didn't apologise for not putting the lid on properly. He also didn't check if I was Ok (I clearly wasn't as I was crying from pain). Two customers told me to go run it under the sink but at that point he still didn't tell me where the sink was, I had to walk around the other side of the counter and find it myself. When I came out I stood there at the counter expecting him to apologise or to talk to me, he ignored me and continued to make a point tutting and cleaning the wet counter. I said "excuse me" and he said "what do you want". I said to him that I didn't like the way he dealt with it and he hasn't even apologised. He said "you come in and throw your coffee down, you could have burnt me and now you ruined my cakes, and you want me to say sorry?" I was just in awe of how someone can treat someone like that. I said that I wasn't giving my money to someone as rude as him and I wanted a refund. He THEN said "you don't want coffee, you come in and make trouble and now you want your money. You want compensation too?" At that point he threw my money onto the counter and turned his back to me. I work in hospitality and I know for sure that if I had done that at work I would have been sacked on the spot! I now have red burn marks on my middle and ring fingers and have swollen so I can't take my rings off. I wasn't a regular, far from it, but neither myself or any of my friends will ever go in there again. Single handedly the WORST experience of hospitality, general manners and customer care that I have experienced in my life.

Had lunch with my wife and friends. Nice food friendly staff. Small restaurant would recommend getting there by 12 to guarantee a seat.

Been in here before for a sandwich and coffee which was ok but haven't been back for over a year mainly because of rude and impatient staff. Went back in today for a 'full English' which was a sad affair. Tasteless cheap food is how I would sum it up. The bacon was like shoe leather (not freshly cooked but re-cooked), the sausage was disgusting, the beans were quite watery, the white sliced bread was coated in margarine, yuk. Have vowed never to go back as I believe it's bad for my health to eat in this place. For the same price (£6.95) I can get a freshly cooked superior full English breakfast at Baroosh. Ok, I've got to pay extra for the drink in Baroosh but I'm confident that the food is top notch, has been cooked fresh to order, and is served by pleasant people.

As allways nice food and good service. Best coffee around and lots of food to choose from. Lovely ambient and nice place to enjoy a snack at any time.
