Very nice first time I have been to this pub since it was the Happy landing definitely changed for the better the staff was brilliant kept the queues down worked as a team very clean

Went here recently since its re-opening for England France match. Very good atmosphere, drinks are reasonable , toilets very neat and tidy. The staff are very helpful and accommodating, well worth a visit

One of the best venues I have been to in a long time, & I have been in a few. Since the new owners took over in August, they have done a lovely job.

Old fashioned spit and sawdust type pub. It doesn't serve food but has excellent crisps. Really a locals pub, generally old men or people with alcohol issues. Jukebox is very loud and normally playing obscure music. Not a place to take your Mrs and i wouldn't take mine there, but I quite like it on a Sunday afternoon when I'm in the area as I'm a fan of old fashioned pubs. Has a decent pool table in separate room which is a nice feature

Good pub to go to. Social distancing requirements met. They even had table service which I really liked. Staff seemed very friendly and happy which you don’t find often no more. Good variety of drinks. Really enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend!

Gone in for a quick lunchtime pint. Clean and friendly but looks more like a railway club than a pub. Good selection of beers but not many real ales.

It’s a funny ol’place is this. I think perhaps it’s just “ticking over”. It doesn’t seem as busy as in years past tbh. Lots of swearing and cash only. The landlady seems to care a little more than the rest of the staff. The gents loos are a sight to behold and have been as pictured for months. The hand dryer hasn’t worked for months either. Its a pub for convenience and for regulars. Don’t make a special visit.
