Costa Coffee in Spelthorne

Normal box-standard Costa coffee. Marshmallows were big and nice. Wafers were good and chocolaty up.

I went today to get a coffee after shopping and the man making the coffees shouted over the counter "what do you want" I told him I would like a gingerbread latte double shot please, I wanted to tell him I wanted a small, but he didn't listen to me just rushed the order, he didn't put a double shot in just a single and made me a large. It was cold and raining and I wanted to get home so I didn't complain, he made the latte and then put the ginger bread syrup in after, he didn't mix it in so it would of just gone to the bottom so I stirred it after, I usually like costa but today it was really poor and they didn't seam liked they cared they just wanted to go home.

One of the best branches of Costa in the area. Situated upstairs in Next it tends to be quieter and more adult focused.

Nice place to relax, seat with friends and have some coffee. Lovely outside space if weather is nice.

Not a bad place for a coffee, it has a nice central two rivers location and there is ample outdoor seating. overall a nice place to stop while shopping.

A very friendly staff member made sure my panini was heated up , so that I didn't have to wait too long. Coffee good as Normal - chicken and chorizo panini very average - Thankyou

A large Costa well located on a corner right by the huge car park. Lots of well arranged seating plus newspapers to read. Bear in mind this is in a big shopping complex so people will stay for longer to rest and can get lots of children (if that's a concern). Otherwise normal Costa fare.

I feel the staff could be more welcoming, I rarely see a smile. I also asked for some ice once needing it quickly as I has a hot drink spillage, one lady could not understand and the other was quite slow to get the ice. It is OK there, drinks ok. Outside is quite nice. Cleanliness of toilets usually not good.

My partner grabbed a latte while I had a hot chocolate, and if your a hot chocolate drinker then you know a good hot chocolate is very hard to find. But this place hit it right on the spot! They are also quick at service.

Lovely flavored cafe mocha size large only issue was it was not as hot as we would have liked only luke warm.

Very cosy place to chill after shopping or meeting people.Staff are friendly ,and theirs seating outside to soak up the sun during the summer.

Nice outdoor seating area which is good if you like to sit and people watch ;0). Staff pleasant too,not a lot you can say about a coffee shop!

We had a nice lunch stop here and they didn't rush us out as we were chatting. We had toasted sandwiches which were tasty and I like the fact that the calories is on all the food. We also shared a chocolate krispie cake.The staff were friendly. The downside were the toilets, there was no paper and they were not very clean. I used them at about 3pm when it was definitely not busy.

I love Costa and they do the best hot chocolates :0) especially the Christmas specials :0) We always stay chatting for a long time in Costa as so relaxing, comfortable :0) Out of all the coffee shops Costa is my all time favourite :0)

had porridge which was delicious, would like to see more healthy breakfast and lunch options . Service was good and you could always find a seat ( although the sofa/arm chairs ones always get taken up quick, so if your going in with someone get them to hold the fort while you queue)

Visited this place loads of times and always very good. Nice friendly staff and large selection of sandwiches paninis and cakes, I normally have toast in the morning and is mostly nice and crisp unlike some Costa establishment that just seem to serve warm bread as toast. coffee is always lovely. It can get busy during lunchtimes but there are 3 costa's to choose from in Staines and of the 3 I prefer the one in next purely for the ambience.

Good service and strong Americano , the staff are so friendly and the speed of service is great too . I like the new layout in next store , very cozy and family friendly . Soft seat and quiet ambiance . I recommend it highly .

Service can be slow, but coffee tastes great and convenient location. Selection of sandwiches and savouries also ok for a light lunch.

Nice Costa sop with lovely sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Service was efficient and friendly. I like the calories being written on the products. Seating outside and inside. Toilets were a let down, obviously not checked regularly. Paper all over the floor and wet. Recently refurbished - looks nice but can't really spot what is different.

The staff are nice and the food and drink selection are just like anywhere else in Costa. The location is not very attractive though - if you sit outside you have a "lovely" view of the shopping centre car park. I guess sitting indoors is more enjoyable.

Costa coffee mgt need to mystery shop their own stores. This place could be so much better with proper in house managers. The tables are left unclean all too often, the service staff appear to be stressed and maybe because the shop is understaffed. To be honest, there's nothing worse than having to move cups and cutlery and dirty napkins off your table onto the next one in order to have a relaxing cup of coffee. It's not rocket science, but Costa need to fix the basics here for cleanliness and hygiene. And I love Costa, have visited many many shops, so send this with a tinge of regret, as this branch needs to step up to the standard that others have achieved.

There are two Costas Coffee Shops in Staines. The one I went to was in the shopping centre next to the British Home Stores Café. I visited this coffee shop a few days ago and I found the members of staff to be friendly and helpful. As the coffee shop is one the first floor you get a nice view of the shopping centre. You can watch all the shoppers walking through the centre. You go up in the lift or use the escalator. I usually use the escalator as it is quicker. This is a very pleasant place to have a cup of coffee and just relax. It does get quite busy on the weekends though. The shop is very clean as well.

This Costa is very popular and the staff are always rushed off their feet when I'm there. Even so The staff are friendly, but there needs to be more of them and another coffee making station to stop the air once the money is taken. There also needs to be a more coordinated approach to serving. On my last visit this week both baristas were making my coffee order and one got it wrong. This is not to say it is not a pleasant place to be. The outside seating is large as is the seating area inside. As said before more staff are needed to service this area too, or at least more efficient practices put into place. As always with Costa Coffee their coffee is their coffee and if you like it it's good wherever you go. This coffee shop is a place you can sit for a while when shopping in Staines, enjoy a drink and then get on with the day.

My wife and I had arrived in Staines about 8-30 am to enable us to get an early start on our shopping, before meeting up with our son and grandson.We were more than ready for a nice cup of coffee so popped into Costa's. Quite comfortable, not cheap, but very enjoyable, without being rushed at all.

Popped in after shopping in Staines with a friend. 2nd time I had been here, the 1st time being a very long time ago. It;s not improved. We had 2 teas and a panini each. The service is indifferent, the tea was ok but the panini was awful. Thin cheese, thin ham, doughey and not great at all. Ate just over half as I was hungry. For the price you pay you'd expect clean tables, maybe a little biscuit on the saucer to accompany the tea and tasty food. Will try out a little coffee shop around the corner next time as I wont visit Costa again - anywhere.

Went to meet some friends for coffee at this Costa's at Staines Two Rivers retail park. Ordered my Latte and was waiting at the end of the counter for the guy to make it, whilst standing there I was looking at the cloths and the jugs he was using filthy is the only word.I work in this environment so was shocked as I know what Costa expect from there staff , the milk jugs I would say had not been rinsed for a while !! . Overall the machine and all the was in view of the customers needed serious cleaning. Clean up guys as there are always people like me who notice ..

This is the one at Two Rivers. Great location especially in the summer, good coffee but more often than not you move cups and rubbish to another empty table in order to sit down.

This is a good Costas. Came here with a friend for lunch today and there was a good choice of food and drinks and the cafe was pretty spacious. Also includes outdoor seating, so nice in the warmer months. Everything seemed clean and staff appeared professional and friendly.Look out for their autumn range of hot drinks coming out. I highly recommend the honeycombe hot chocolate...so yummy.

Although it was busy weekend service was quick. I always enjoy large cappuccino at costa. I arrived early for my cinema so I quick stop for coffee. Easy and convenient place close to car park and cinema.

Again costa never fail to deliver a good coffee , shame the queue is too long , but it was worth the wait as I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee ...

I was in the queue waiting patiently for it to be my turn, deciding which cake to go for when I noticed lots of little flies buzzing around and crawling on the fruit pastries! I decided to go to the other Costa above BHS and had a coffee and cake there. I popped in a week or so later thinking maybe it had been a one off, only to find the flies were still there (!) and so again I went to the BHS Costa. Disgusting.

Coffee is excellent and is served in real mugs, not paper cups. I was really impressed with the two handle mugs for the larger sizes. Pastries and biscuits were fresh and tasty. Plenty of comfortable sitting areas, and you never felt rushed to finish and leave.

I visit both outlets of Costa on Staines several times a week and find food, service, staff and the environment to be top notch. However, whether you get a hot cup of coffee or not is in the lap of the gods. I would say it's hot enough on 1 in every 3 visits. When I asked for a bit more hot milk the other day, as my coffee was served cold, the barista looked at me like I was insane.How does one get round the problem of your favorite coffee being served cold?

Whats not to like ? Never been in a Costas I have not liked yet and have been in alot of them. The coffee is so good if I did find a Costas I disliked I would just have a coffee to go!

You cannot go wrong! Simply the best coffee from the 'chain' stores, strong and hot.Decent selection of sandwiches, cakes and biscuits with friendly staff.Decent outside area when the sun is out!

Costa Coffee is my choice every time!I love their coffee, the cakes and the coolers.Staff are always friendly and service quick.Never had a bad cup!
