The breakfast in Cafe Blue is second to none. Huge portions of always perfectly cooked food.

Food is fine but this place is very noisy when busy Update - Blue Cafe has redecorated and the noise issue has been much improved.

28th October 2023 Out with my girls after a long walk. First time for them. Staff were great food was great toilets clean. Azra whe served us was a lovely polite young lady. (Hopefully spelt her name right).

We stumbled upon this place when passing through. The restaurant is really nice and offers a lot of dishes. You can see that they really payed attention to the inetrior (walls, decoration, etc), so it is a pity that the tables and orange chairs do not match with this 'vibe' that the restaurant potentially has.

Great Staff, beautiful food. Their refurbishment was fantastic. Don't go anywhere else.

sat down waited 15 minutes to be served had to get up and ask to be served then ordered sat and waited for food for a good 20 minutes and they forgot one of the meals then had to wait another 10 minutes for the meal and the food was cold

Extremely dry chips and very salty omelette. Wouldn’t go back. Yea served cold too.

I believe the girl serving me and my mum was called lexi , she was so lovely. Had a lovely chat with her and she was very polite. I’ve been to this cafe before and the food is always 10/10.

A cafe located on Old Harlow's high street, containing a vast menu. Food was good, service was fast and friendly. A good sign is that it gets busy in here, especially on the weekend. Regarding toilets, there are two cubicles and both were clean and well stocked. Loses the fifth star as it's cash only (nearest cash point is located inside the co-op).

Food was OK, but expensive, had a set breakfast and a normal coffee which was over £10.

Food was very good, prices are very reasonable and service was prompt.

Meals are big and really good for the price, service was excellent been a few times now

We always come here when we eat out for breakfast. Prices are not too bad and food is always yummy..

This place is fantastic probably the best cafe I've been to. And I've been in a few. Ordering over the phone and collecting is great if time is against you. As is sitting in. Staff work hard as it's always busy good sign in my book.

Great find, not knowing the area just popped in for a coffee but had a good cup of coffee and a bacon roll in a mostly full cafe. Service was very quick and the place was really popular.

Very fast service. Coffee was good. Although I was surprised to get mini coffee creamers instead of regular milk. Felt like in early 2000s 😅 Friendly staff.

After a long time was able to go here again, as always great food, reasonable prices, don't understand why people are mentioning the café is Turkish the staff may be Turkish, the food is brilliant English dishes . Returned here on the 31st. October,2022 the cafe has had a complete refurbishment and it looks great, I am not sure if it has changed hands, but the food was up to its excellent standard, I had the lamb roast, my wife had a burger and chips meal, both were plentiful and very tasty, you won't leave here hungry, would highly recommend

Friendly welcoming staff excellent food and service

We're Canadians who visit Old Harlow about every year. One of the things we look forward to are the all-day breakfasts at the Blue Café. It brings back memories of our British childhoods. The food is perfectly cooked, and promptly served. They've had a decor make-over which makes the place even more inviting. Often swamped by locals which tells you a lot!

Amazing service and its the best cafe! Loved the food and people were so nice!

The csge was in a good location with some street parking. Very busy and I wasn't sure to wait or sit down and be served. They were arguing in the kitchen and there was an atmosphere. The coffee was lovely . They put butter on my toast. Some of the toast was burnt on one side. Toilets were clean and large enough for a disabled person. Won't return.

You know breakfast will be good when there's a table of builders. Build your own breakfast is a great idea. Bacon portion was 4 rashers!

A decent cafe that is always busy you can tell it’s good. The milkshakes are particularly great. One criticism would be they need to expand their vegetarian options. Veggie sausages on the breakfasts would be great

Came here for a lunch with a friend. Have been back a few times. Food is what you expect but if your looking for a great all day breakfast then this is your spot!

Big portions. If you like chips you will be happy as you get lots. This place is popular and always busy. They only take cash which is a bit inconvenient.

(Got to be a decent cafe) Enjoyed the food, friendly staff and great service...Personally and especially due to the current pandemic I expect the lids of the condiments/sauce bottles to be cleaned thoroughly at the end of every shift. My colleague and I both agreed that contents inside the HP sauce bottle was not HP sauce

We came to this great cafe after visiting the Harlow museum.My husband works opposite the cafe,so it comes highly recommended!He had the omelette breakfast and I had the Spanish omelette,washed down with latte and capucino,delicious andcheaper than the pub! We walked our meal off in Harlow park!

Food was ok but the way the boss treats staff is poor, the reason for that is I have got told that the owner doesn’t give his staff the tips, so he’s fooling everyone with the tip box it’s supposed to be for the staff but it’s actually going to his pocket.

I always find it amusing that people who invariably leave bad reviews. We have all been on holiday and some of us have been to San fransisco. Get a life £1.50 for salad and baked beans. You need to go to somewhere interesting in the world. Great food very nice atmosphere. Funny it gets busy at times but so does "Harrods"
