Great pub with good atmosphere. Very friendly staff and the drinks are a fair price. They do some good deals on the food as well.

The meals were scrumptious. Loved the cocktails as well. The service was amazing. Absolutely loved the place . Staff is hospitable and friendly. Would go back a million times for the lovely meals. I really had a great time.

Been going to the Willow every couple of weeks for past three months. I like the food,the friendly staff,the banter we have. A friend and I used another Green King nearby,but with ongoing roadworks,and the traffic,The Willow is easier to reach. I have been today,and Lisa cooked our meals,she came out to check she had cooked my steak to my liking...she had. I will write one comment that I find frustrating,at times we have had to wait as Thursday is delivery day,and having spent 28 years in catering as a chef,I struggle with the idea that customers are expected to wait so long while food order is out away .. I've never in effect turned people away at lunch time as unable to cook meals Two weeks ago we walked away as we were told we would have about an hour to wait...we went elsewhere and I booked for today,saying we had come to weatherspoons... Today we checked if order had been put away before we looked to order. It had... In general we like the place,and I think the issue is in hand,and I do not wish to be rude in these comments,I think a lot of people would leave and not return...I have already booked for two weeks time. I hope management of The Willow and or powers that be in Green King see and sort this out...in this day and age,you really can not afford to turn customers away by not having somebody else to put the order away.

Great pub for lunch, they have an extensive menu all reasonably priced. The kids menu was great, ours all enjoyed their food. Friendly staff, will definitely pop in again.

Called in for a quick bite to eat when passing through Harlow. The lady behind the bar was loverly, welcoming, and friendly. Had a quick drink, hunters chicken, and a fish and chips. Food was cooked perfectly, so hats off to the chef as these places are a bit hit and miss sometimes.

We came here for last minute family meal to celebrate nieces birthday, I contacted the day before wanting to book for 20 people, David got back to me very timely asking for a pre-order which we was more than happy to do, he contacted us a few times to update and check a few things. On the night the staff and chef kept us updated on when they was cooking our food and how they was gonna do it, the service was brilliant honestly couldn’t fault it. It’s very very rare a chef will come to the table to talk to the guests let a lone serve the food and clear the tables away. Would definitely recommend, great service excellent food. Thank you David and team, we will be back

This is the second year in a row that we have arranged our family Christmas gathering at The Willow. As was the case last year, the staff were fantastic, the buffet amazing and the whole team very accommodating. This Christmas gathering is really important for us a family and to have a separate area where we can have 16 people to relax freely is a hard ask and very little places that can provide this. The staff at The Willow where absolutely fantastic and i have to personally thank Jo who ensured we had the best time, even with her coming in from home to meet me in the evening as this was the only time i could get there. We will definitely be holding the gathering here again in 2024. Thanks for everything Jo :-)

This is the second year running we have had our works Christmas dinner at The Willow. We were shown to our table which had been decorated, and looked very Christmassy. The choice of food on the menu suits everyone in the party, and we were helped with a peanut allergy sufferer in our group. Who was shown by David the manager how to access the Green King app to see what dishes would be suitable for her to eat. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful. The pub has a welcoming atmosphere and we all had a lovely time. They are now saying we'll be back in the New Year. Once again Thanks to David and he's lovely team for making our night out go well.

Decided to come visit friday night 29/9/23 and was very satisfied with the service and quality of the food. Chef Darren was very friendly and delivered complimentary service and food that made the evening for great value also. Decided I would come again for an after work meal and was not disappointed. Definitely the best pub in the area to go to for service and value for what you drink and eat. Recommended to anyone local!!

Great team of Ladys behind the bar.. a place that could be something real special ..ive been head chef in many top places..iam not sure the manager cares ,, hes never there .i c the ladys taking it all on there shoulders... cause they care lots of pride there..change of managerment ....great team work ...Great Entertianment wow it would be the place 2 be..god bless

We came on a Friday evening around 7pm, we were greeted by 2 security doorman as we arrived and they opened the door for us to go in while making us feel welcome. We ordered food at the bar with Jo, she was so helpful and helped us with one of our group who has a special diet. When the food came to the table it looked and smelt so nice we were all very happy and enjoyed our meal. We stayed for a while after our meal for some drinks. When we left the 2 security men again opend the door for us and chated with us while we waited for out Taxi, really nice welcoming and professional. We Will definitely be coming back, all the staff and the service the atmosphere was just so nice. THANK YOU.

An hour for food, no fish platter, no onion Bharjis, other things they did not have, not overly busy, empty tables, not sure why the long wait, asked for 1 cheesecake then told 20mt wait and did not have this anyway, had the chicken wrap, wrap it self was little a tough, won’t choose to eat here again

We often pop in when we are in Harlow. Always get a friendly welcome from all the bar staff. The food is great, nicely presented and plentiful. It has a nice atmosphere. Clare the cook was lovely and friendly. We will see you again soon.

Recommended by my daughter. We were here to celebrate my sister’s birthday a few days ago. I had booked for ten people I was asked by Jo to pre order the meals. She sent the menu and I texted the list to Jo and checked the following morning. On the day of the meal Jo texted to check a couple of the meals. Unfortunately one of the party had to pick up his dog from the kennels earlier than expected. I asked Jo and the chef Darron if we could have a take away, which they were pleased to do.
