Burra in Bristol, City of

Fabuloso pequeño café. Fui aquí a desayunar tarde. El menú era interesante y variado con un montón de opciones. Había una amplia gama de pasteles y pasteles frescos. La comida era excelente - tuvimos la sobrasada y huevos revueltos y un baño de desayuno, que eran ambos excelentes. El café es aireado y ligero. Fue bullicioso durante nuestra visita y tenía un ambiente encantador. El servicio era excelente y el personal era amable e interesado. Sin duda volvería de nuevo.

Visité el Burra en North Street para un desayuno rápido. El café era genial y el personal de FOH educado y servicial, pero la comida es tan ridículamente caro. Pedí la £ 5 masa madre enmantequillada + tocino extra por £ 3. Cuando llegó la comida me tomé 3 medias rebanadas de tostadas y 1 trozo de tocino. Le pregunté si podía tomar un pedazo extra de tocino dado que había pagado £ 8 por este desayuno y me dijeron que tendría que pagar extra. FOH somos amables y educados, parece que están limitados por la “política” en un café bougie sobrevalorado y caro. Pero buen café.

Visitamos el domingo, 07 . 07 . 24 la Burra. El equipo de servicio era muy amable. El desayuno era perfecto, con porciones ideales. El café y el té eran excelentes. El restaurante tiene un ambiente encantador que invita a quedarse. Sin embargo, el baño era bastante desagradable y podría ser mucho más limpio. Los precios eran razonables. Recomendaría el restaurante a todo el mundo, pero tal vez saltarse la visita al baño.

Burra estaba muy ocupado un lunes a media mañana, pero nos mostraron a un asiento bastante rápido. La silla en la que estaba a punto de sentarme parecía tener migas y queso rallado por todas partes, y tuve que volver a llamar al miembro del personal para limpiarla y la mesa, que tenía migas. Nuestra orden fue tomada muy rápidamente por un miembro del personal masculino que se dirigió a mí y a mi esposo como "damas" (um...) y la comida llegó bastante pronto, junto con un café servido con una cuchara muy sucia. Una vez que logré que el dueño de un perro grande se sentara detrás de nosotros para evitar que el perro me lamiera, pude disfrutar de huevos revueltos con salmón ahumado, que estaba sabroso, mientras que la granola de mi esposo estaba buena, aunque una porción muy pequeña por el precio. Un viaje al baño (bastante sucio) no reveló papel higiénico, y al decirle a un miembro del personal que extrañamente eligió venir y decirnos 'se ha ido a buscar algo de Tescos'. Quiero decir, gracias, tenía pañuelos en mi bolso, pero no necesito un comentario sobre el hecho de que su personal obviamente no revisa o limpia el baño regularmente. En general, la comida es agradable, el café es muy bueno, y el brownie para llevar que compramos era mejor que la media, pero una silla y mesa sucia, una cuchara sucia Y un inodoro que no había sido limpiado o revisado para suministros básicos (y en un lunes por la mañana también - empezar la semana como quieres decir para seguir! ) significa que no tengo tanta confianza en que en realidad es tan limpio.

Food par excellence The ambiance was lovely and the service fast. The food arrived quickly. Salmon scrambled eggs. Portion very well. Colorful and delicious. Very good chef so well done. Internet poor to zero but with beautiful food who needs the internet.. Service excellence. A little noisy due to being packed and small space

I was telling an Australian friend about Burra today and it reminded me to leave a review as the food was excellent. I visited last week for a late lunch/brunch and as you cannot book we decided to wait for a table because we’d heard it was worth a visit. Aussie brunch has a name for itself and some people ask “how is it any different to normal brunch” and I can’t answer that but it just is! I loved that they also sold multiple varieties of Tim Tam’s and that all the decor was pictures from Australia. We had the fritters, ricotta eggs and I had scrambled eggs. I love that you can add a side of pretty much anything to your meal so I added sausage and bacon, my boyfriend added smoked salmon. We enjoyed it so much that we ate it incredibly quickly but we were all universally in agreement it was the best brunch we’ve ever had. One of the beauties of Bristol is how affordable it is vs London for better quality. I would 100% recommend visiting Burra as the food is great, the staff were super friendly, the vibe is nice and it’s great value for money.

Popped in for a quick coffee and breakfast. Friendly, efficient service, great flat white and a very tasty Breakfast Bun. In and out in 15 mins. Will certainly visit again when I get the change.

Awful. The coffee here was unpleasant and the staff are so self absorbed they prefer to virtue signal to one another rather than serve customers. I can't imagine why this place is busy.

Visited the Gloucester Rd branch for the first time today. Lovely atmosphere, delicious coffee and excellent food. Recommended. Australian treats such as Tim Tams for sale too!

The Gloucester Road Burra continues to amaze me! My family love coming for lunch and coffee because it is all so immense! As is the energy of the place which is down entirely to the staff! The team is so kind and welcoming and truly make the cafe. Would enthusiastically recommend (and have!) to friends and family.

We went here for breakfast on a weekend in Bristol and it was awesome. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed , the service friendly and the food fantastic. I went for the delicious works bun and the brioche was gorgeous-the best breakfast bap I've ever tasted. My partner went for the French toast-sadly she inhaled that too quickly for me to get a shot, but that too was world class ! I'd go back to Bristol just for this.

Came for brunch on a Sunday and it was very busy, always a good sign. Coffee was delicious and milk frothed very well. We had the breakfast bun and a French toast to share with bacon. Loved the place and would definitely return! No orange juice sadly.

Great coffee and also excellent coffee. All staff in both locations Clifton and Gloucester Road are great. Even very busy they also take a great deal of attention to every different client.

Our son is livng in Bristol and said we should try here, all of us rated the place highly, good vibe, food great, staff lovely, even dog friendly, we will return on our next visit.

Had the most amazing breakfast. Poached egg feta, avocado on sourdough- everything was so tasty. Even the cappuccino was first class

So many great things about this cafe - buzzy atmosphere, lots of seating, great drinks and friendly staff. Felt there were a few areas which weren't as strong - the French toast was tasty but a little on the bland side (could have benefitted from some cinammon). Also one of the staff members did start clearing away plates whilst my friend was still eating. Overall I would return but probably for drinks and cake rather than brunch.

It’s a lovely little cafe with excellent customer service however the food seems rather overpriced :/ The biggest thing was that when I went earlier there were fruit flies all over the ceiling and walls and kept flying in my face. Fruit flies really creep...

I've visited Burra on a handful of occasions and the coffee is always excellent. It's the reason I visit. It's one of my personal favourite coffee shops, not to mention one of the best places in Bristol for coffee. That says a lot because Bristol...

Great happy, smiley professional staff all of who are lovely. Food is great and the coffee rocks. The only problem is getting a table...but hey! that's a good sign.

Nice venue, good looking menu but disappointing food. Seemed like lack of care over preparation and presentation. Staff were friendly but nit very attentive. No COVID protocols in place - would have been nice to have a clean table atleast!

We stopped here for a late morning drink and some brunch. Excellent coffee and hot food menu. Pastries and service were hit and miss, brownie was particularly claggy. Friendly but inefficient, only half our order arrived, needing two reminders.

Really great cafe, the atmosphere is always great, the staff are super attentive and the garden space is a perfect sun trap! It's a great spot to get through some work emails during the week and enjoy brunch on the weekends with friends.
