Absolutely disgusting. Meant to be burger KING yeah what a joke that is. The Burger I had was a double bbq cheese burger and it was flat as a pancake. No salad nothing. And the 3 meals were cold but the funny thing was that he waited for 15 mins for them to apperently cook 'fresh'. I had to put it in microwave for 2 minutes to get it to a decent temperature. Such a shame as I finally got my partner to go there after over 2 years as he had a bad one the last time we went. And yet again was bad. Fuming isn't the world. So disappointed. Never again will I go here. Rather go to McDonald's as burgers are more appealing, hot and filling. To anyone wanting to try this place avoid at all costs.

If I could of gave this a 0 star review I most definitely would! They didn’t inform us that their drinks machine wasn’t working properly. So all of our drinks were warm and I mean disgustingly warm as there wasn’t even any ice. Tried to complain but the girl didn’t want to know and laughed. RUDE! Will never return here and will be making a formal complaint in writing.

The place is like an oven inside while ordering and worse dining outside will cause you a heat stroke. Staff seems don't know how to serve order and have to come twice to rectify it.

My wife and I decided we needed some fast food as a reward for just completing the Lichfield 10K Run; consequently we called in at the Burger King adjacent B&Q. It was not overly busy so we placed our order quickly and sat down. The member of staff who took the order was friendly and well presented. I would say that the seating area was very clean, much better than some fast food establishments. My only criticism would be that some of the seat covers need replacing. Our order was very quickly ready - good job as we were starving. My burger looked great- just like the pictures that advertise the food. The chips were really good, different than when I last had chips at a Burger King - I wish I had ordered a larger portion of the chips. In summary the food was very good, the staff were helpful and the place was clean. A good visit for me. Will definitely go again.

There's a good reason there isn't a Burger King on every street corner, a dreadful experience. Used the drive through and was informed "cash transactions" only, so could only have a coffee, service was slow and painful, pretty sure the guy who served me had slept in his uniform, in a ditch such was the state of it. Staff clearly didn't want to be working, no effort and a complete lack of interest. Whole place looks like it could do with a good scrub..! Oh for the big yellow M, a different class..

Stood waiting for a good few mins while I was looked at by all staff behind the counter. I had to ask a member of staff who was behind the till in an outside coat if I was likely to be served... Honestly, I don't expect it to be black tie service but I expect some level of standard... And definitely not people out of uniform dealing with food and tray set ups. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

If there’s an award for the worst Burger King then Burton’s is the outstanding winner. We sat waiting at the drive through for at least 5 minutes before we were acknowledged, then the first person who started to take our order just disappeared and left us waiting yet again... a second person came and took over not knowing anything about the first part of the order. We wanted milk shakes with our food but NO ... “we can’t do milkshakes today” EVERY TIME we go they can’t do milkshakes or ice cream!! We completed our order, paid and were served our food. We don’t go here often and when we have we have chosen to sit inside the restaurant but it’s SOOOO COLD ! It’s not warm, welcoming and the staff have faces to turn milk sour ! Maybe they are freezing cold too ??

We drove through the 6pm tea time traffic to Burger King, to stand at the till for 10 minutes without so much as a 'hi' from any of the staff, who proceeded to ignore us by mopping the floor! No one came to the till and eventually we left and went to KFC instead. All young, inexperienced staff, who can't meet and greet customers! If they explained that they would be with us in a few minutes we would have waited happily, but no one even made eye contact to acknowledge our presence! It wasn't busy, they was one man and his son waiting for their meal in the restaurant! I wonder why?!!!! I think they need to hire new staff, or send them on some intense customer service training! You'd be sacked for this in America, where customer service is excellent! Staff are young and obviously uninterested in making money for the company!

Visited this branch for lunch, why did we bother????? When we entered we should have walked straight back out. There was a queue waiting for food, the customer in front of us waiting on just a coffee. I think he was giving up the will to live, eventually he was served, once he chiseled the ice off his hands! Then Lordy, Lordy it was our turn! My better half ordered the whopper meal, I ordered the spicy bean burger and onion rings. Diet Coke and Fanta. We waited and waited, and waited and waited. Finally it came. After I had drunk half of my lemon Fanta , which was nothing like lemon! Cola? Orange? Who knows???? My spicy bean burger was a flash in the pan affair! It was hardly cooked and my onion rings were re-heats! I’ve complained to the management who gave a shrug, so I filled in a customer satisfaction form on line telling them how very unsatisfied I was and I was offered a free whopper meal next visit!!!!!! It took us ages to warm up. The entertainment was good though. A wee girl singing Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is coming to townto her hearts content!

What a fiasco. Popped in for a snack. My wife is on a special diet and has to eat small portions regularly. So much for the "Have it your way!" Motto! Walked in and the girl behind the counter could not have looked more unhappy if I'd woken her up banging a drum at 4am. I ordered a whopper jnr meal coke zero, a double cheeseburger NO KETCHUP OR PICKLES and a small fries from the saver menu. Miss Warmth then tried to charge me nearly 10 quid, I queried it and "service with a scowl" told me it was £7.27, I said this can't be right and didn't expect to be delivering a maths lesson to a disinterested teenager at 11:30 on a Friday morning! Then she said something along the lines of "well the till says that's right" it was a bit like COMPUTER SAYS NO. So having taken her through it step by step, we finally got to the correct price of £5.47 and waited and waited and waited. Eventually the meal came but it was a Bacon Double Cheeseburger, under normal circs my wife loves bacon but can't eat it right now! So I told the server again, Cheeseburger no ketchup, pickles or bacon. Then we got a cheeseburger with ketchup! We gave up in the end and I felt sorry for Adam, the manager, who at least refunded us £2.50. Meanwhile his colleague actually cracked a smile and started laughing when another two customers walked off complaining they were fed up of waiting. I'd hate to see what she's like when they're actually busy and I'm glad she thinks it's acceptable and funny to treat customers like this, when they stop coming and she hasn't got a job then may be she'll think differently although her attitude stank of CBA and I don't want to be here so think she'll be happier on the old rock n roll! I did phone the customer helpline and report this shocking experience to them and they've promised me some vouchers but I'm not holding my breath and definitely wouldn't use them at this particular branch!

I nipped into this Burger King for a quick bacon double cheese burger meal. I wish I hadn’t bothered. I knew things had gone wrong when they gave me a bag containing 2 bags of fries and a burger with gherkins but no bacon let alone the extra mustard I’d ordered. GUYS, IT WAS JUST A BACON DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER WITH EXTRA MUSTARD. It’s not rocket science. Worst part is, when I went back into the restaurant to explain the order was wrong, they couldn’t give a toss. They preceded to ‘throw’ together a burger which they handed me. I unwrapped it and quite frankly this just made things worse. The cheese wasn’t melted in any way, there was no mustard and it was clear that it had been put together by someone who gave zero f**ks. At this point, I asked for a refund, which I got, but what I didn’t get was an apology or the impression that any of the staff gave a damn. SWERVE THIS PLACE, THEY COULDN’T CARE LESS.

We always enjoy coming to Burger King. We usually sit in to eat rather than use the drive thru that this place also offers, and we find sitting inside is much nicer than eating in the car! My 4 children always like to sit near the window so they can see all the cars queuing up for the drive thru, and I’m sorry to say that it’s probably MY children who leave sticky hands and face marks all over the window for everyone to see once we’ve left!! Sorry!

Called in here after attending a meeting and hoping for some wind down time, But unfortunately it turned out to be more like wind up time. Waited ages to get served and when I was served they seemed to want to hurry me along. Part of my order was 6 cheese bites, which had been given to someone else and when the lady returned them the counter staff member said sorry they were meant for me, took them off the lady and promptly put them in with my order. On examining them their were only four left and one of those looked like it had been chewed and spat back in the bag. When I asked about this the counter assistant said the other customer should not have had them and blamed it on her having to work a ten hour shift. DID NOT offer to replace them. This must be a food and hygiene matter in nothing else. Burger King obviously set very low standards and fail to maintain them, Sorry this is a last for me,,,

I've been in this Burger King a few times with discount vouchers and it's fairly typical of their establishments in that the staff have a take it or leave it attitude, there are no free newspapers or internet like other Burger Outlets and the food is - well shall we say average !!I wouldn't put yourself out to eat there unles it's your only option or you have a money off voucher - but that's up to you.

It's near the B&Q store so I called in as I had a meal voucher to use at Burger King. First impressions are all OK - it's clean inside and out but the staff don't greet you with a smile or anything - they just ask what you want, no smile or hint of friendliness - they take your money and tell you to wait. No newspapers to read like McDonalds, when I asked for a barbecue sauce "That's 10p extra" I was told!My receipt had a questionable to fill in online for a free burger and I did this and last week whilst on the M1 tried to use the voucher and even though it was well in date I had a full scale argument with the ignorant Burger King Staff member at the M1 diner before her manager became involved and honoured the voucher. What a set up!

How this place is still open is beyond my comprehension. The staff are ignorant at best - they will gladly walk past you & completely blank you rather than addressing you with so much as an acknowledgment that they are busy & will be with you sometime hopefully before the next millennia. One the other day walked from behind the counter, ignored us standing patiently waiting where we had been stood for about 4 minutes, trying to make eye contact with someone who looked like rigamortis hadn't quite taken hold of yet, picked up a cloth & spent the next 20 minutes drinking coke & cleaning the same table, whilst the only other 2 staff I could see chose to prioritise the drive through over customers in front of them. When one of them eventually got sick of us hanging around making the place look busy, she sidled over, sighed and pretty much demanded to know what we were ordering in a manner that portrayed we were an inconvenience. The place never seems clean (despite the Cleaner who spends an age cleaning the same spot), the staff's clear hatred of their jobs is only seconded by their clear disgust at actually having to deal with customers & I can only assume most that are employed there have a 5 word vocabulary & mostly communicate with grunts. The service is slow and you usually get shouted to collect your meal and the tray is practically thrown onto the counter at you. The only reason I've rated this 1 is because it's not yet possible to give a minus number review. This is an appalling example of a Burger King outlet & I can only hope someone with a bit of pride steps up and either sorts it out or does Burton a favour & level the place.

This review is not about this restaurant, I cannot find the one I'm looking for. M1 services - a Syed Moeez Ali (Shift Manager, which is hard to believe!) absolutely disgusting manners. Texting on his phone whilst serving us, asking us to repeat the order as he was too busy on his phone to listen and take our order properly. Very very rude man, no please or thank you. Just walking around with his phone glued to his hand. I cannot believe he has a role as a manager! What an awful man he was. I'm sorry to write this on this one but I cannot find the one I'm looking for, I thought maybe as I took his full name the company can look into it as I really wouldn't wish him to serve any one else in this awful manner.

I enjoy BK on the whole, don't eat there much but there again, don't eat at many fast food outlets. Was in town and close to this BK located on the B&Q site in Burton, and thought I'd give the saveer menu a go. Had the 6 chicken nuggets for 99p. Large fries at £1.74 and a bottle of water for £1.30. So not much of a saver at £4.03. Ketchup and mayo only available sauce option, not ideal with chicken, hot chili or honey mustard would have been nice (like the BK's in the States) but you get what you get. Service, decor and all that stuff all OK so review is only on the lack of taste of the chicken. Shaped and formed and absolutely bland with a capital "B". No taste, like chewing cardboard. The missus had a saver meal at £3.75 which was also reported to be not very appetizing. So nearly £8 spent to eat crap with out fingers. Considering you can get a carvery in the same area for £3.50 each, albeit without drinks, and a mountain of real "chips" from the local chippy for £1.50 this represent terrible value for money. Cheap it wasn't, quality it wasn't and I should have saved myself the effort.

We had to wait 15 mins for our food while drive thru customers seemed to be taking priority. When we got it, it was wrong so we took it back and it was returned wrong again ! 3rd time we got what we ordered.We went to get some napkins to wipe our hands but the dispensers were all empty so we had to queue again to be given 2 napkins.Overall a terrible visit so i emailed BK to complain but was just sent a generic response so their customer service is just as poor as their restaurants....

This place really does give a prime example of everything wrong with fast food. I was on a short lunch break at work and decided to pop through the drive through to grab something quick to eat before getting back to the grind stone. That was my first mistake. Ordered my food and paid for it and was told by the not so enthusiastic member of staff to move on to the next window to collect my order. Pulled up at said window and was told to wait a few minutes for my food. No reason given although I assumed it was because it was not a particularly busy time of day so the food was cooked from fresh. And wait I did. And wait, and wait, and wait. 20 bleeding minutes!!!!!!!! Yes I was sat at the window for 20 minutes for my order! It wasn't a particular tricky order, just a whopper meal with a soft drink which I thought was the staple of their culinary delights! I did keep getting updates from the staff member about my orders progress, although we've just fired up the grill was not one of them. Her updates did start to become slightly more nervous as she must of sensed my disproval. I wasn't asked to 'drive round to Bay 1' which I normally expect from fast food joints if you've ordered something slightly exotic. Not the case on this visit. What the person in the car behind must of thought I don't know. Although I dread to think how long they had to wait on top of mine! And then my food turned up. Second mistake was biting into it. The first few mouthfuls of said whooper were what I expected. Then came the third. The burger was cold in the middle. Why, I don't know. What's so hard about cooking a patty of meat I don't know. In the bin it went. The only reason I didn't go back and complain was because I'd driven off and pulled into a layby a few miles away to eat. All in all, if fast food companies wanted to use a standard example of how restaurants get it wrong, they couldn't do much worse than this place. I haven't been back and don't intend on doing so anytime soon. Avoid like the plague!

Sadly no matter how many times I eat here since It opened, in hopes that it may have improved since my last visit, it never fails to disappoint.The staff all seem to have a poor attitude, most of the time whatever I order is out of stock, food will be poor quality, the place is dirty & usually the floor is sticky. Even asking their opening hours proved to be too much of a challenge for one girl working there when I asked, as she rambled on for 4 minutes about how they are open 24 hours but close for a few hours during the night. I gave up trying to fathom this out and decided to cut my losses and end the conversation. I love Burger King which is why I persist in trying here every so often, but I should just wait & go to another one such as Derby or Uttoxeter than keep being disappointed by this place.

I have attached letter sent to customer services, it says it all:Having just left your Burton on Trent restaurant near B&Q at Shobnall rd with my family I feel I need to comment on what can only be described as a truly unenjoyably experience. Having looked forward to a day of treats this was to be rounded off by an evening meal in your Burton restaurant.On walking in on a Saturday evening we were greeted by the unhappiest staff I have ever seen and not many of them. No eye contact, no smiles nothing. The tables and floors were filthy and the bins full. Having got our meal eventually we went with our children to get the soft drinks from the machine to find most of them were just giving out water, this we pointed out to a member of staff to be looked at, shoulders shrugged and told to simply try another pump. No napkins in the holders so we asked politely for some, these were grabbed from the behind the serving counter and thrown onto the counter at us by the MANAGER for the evening!!!Having found a semi clean table we sat to eat to find food all over the floor underneath and salt and food on the windowsills which my children were happily drawing in as the salt was scattered everywhere. At this point the MANAGER walked out into the restaurant and started to empty the bins and attempt to clean up a little. This was done at snails speed whilst watching the TV’s in the area, chairs being scrapped about and the bins being slammed around. The tables that were cleaned were still filthy and the windowsills left, never once did the member of staff smile or make any contact with the public eating. To be honest she looked like the world had ended at this was the last place she wanted to be.The whole experience was awful and I must say ruined a day our children had been looking forward to. With this in mind we will not be using Burger King in the future as we can go into McDonalds and get the total opposite. Its always very clean, tidy and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly.I hope this will prompt you to review the restaurant in question and take some action to improve customer service. You may also wish to read your reviews on Tripadvisor .co.uk as I seems this is standard procedure with nothing been done to improve the issues.NEVER AGAIN EVER.... MCDONALDS CAN HAVE OUR CUSTOM

Both members of staff were rude, by not even letting us look at the terrible signed menu outside. Then after a very quick order(which she didn't let us finish) we tried explaining to another member of staff that we hadn't finished ordering. He was rolling his eyes and didn't care one bit. Second visit here never never again

Was at b&q and thought would treat wife and I to some breakfast . Not been to a Burger King for 20 years. Only 2 customers inside but looked clean and tidy. Stood at counter , nobody behind the counter . After 2 mins a member of staff moved around but would not make eye contact . After a total of five minutes stood there we decided to take our business elsewhere ( morrisons) which was fine. Bad customer service , won't be returning !
