Cocktails were amazing, George was very attentive and fun and we loved our visit, the secret room was a highlight, we will definitely be returning!

Amazing service and great cocktails. Lottie and George were brilliant, the margarita and birthday cake martinis were delicious.

Not sure why this place has bad reviews… really lovely cocktail bar, a hidden gem in portsmouth + a free photo booth! Great for a chilled night out

Waited outside for an hour ringing the bell to no answer, so I tried contacting them across all social media and got no response. Mine and my partner’s first night out together in weeks ruined by crap customer service (or lack thereof). Who knows if we’ll get our deposit refunded or the £50 voucher we have.

Unfortunately, this visit to Broken and Repaired was spoiled by very poor customer service. Although the bar was reasonably quiet the drinks took an age to arrive. The staff were off hand and not interested. Final insult was out no refund on the unused part of our £60 deposit. Avoid

I’ve been here a few times with different groups. My first visit many years ago was excellent. The toilets were clean and well kept, the drinks were lovely and the bar was busy. The second time, it was great, the drinks were delicious, toilets pretty good and the props spread between the secret room and Photo Booth were in good condition, it was busy and people were enjoying it. I visited recently with my husband and my parents after taking them to see Romesh at the kings Theatre, it was shocking. The toilets were absolutely disgusting, they were wet, urine all over the place, toilet seat hanging off, no good handwashing gels etc. the props that they had left were deflated and there wasn’t many to choose from. The place looked completely ran down, they couldn’t make a lot of the cocktails because they were out of a lot of things, even simple things like coffee! It was a Saturday night, we arrived around 10:15 on the off chance we could get a table, I did check the website and could book from 10:45. We turned up I requested a table for four of us and were told they were fully booked. I said that I could see I could book on the website from 10:45 and should we come back then? They said they would check with the manager and then someone came to the door and took us in as they did have a table available for us. Going in we discovered that it was in fact pretty empty! There was around 4-6 customers in the whole place. The staff were kind and very attentive but it was annoying, I think because they didn’t have a lot to do they kept checking if we needed any more drinks, not long after we had ordered the first ones, and it wasn’t just one person asking, 3 of them came by even though one guy in particular seemed to be our server, and he was great. The cocktails sounded good but as I say they couldn’t make lots of them and they didn’t taste as good as they sounded. The menu had depreciated so much since my last visit, they had no lagers or ales for the guys and there wasn’t as many options as there used to be. It’s so sad and disappointing, it seems as thought the person who opened the bar may no longer have the time, money or care for it anymore and I can imagine they are probably struggling to keep it up to the standards it should be with all of the recent price rises etc, but they promote the bar as a secret and partly private members club, I would be so disappointed if I was a paying member. It would be great to see it improve again, we don’t have anywhere cool, chilled and classy in Portsmouth and it really was amazing the first couple of visits.

Expensive cocktails, no wine/beer/ lager, more staff than guests, staff on phones, lacking in atmosphere, unkempt toilet facilities.

Booked for 60th birthday drinks for 4 people from 1830 to 2000. Recieved an email to say we needed to move it forwards 30 mins which was fine with us and we confirmed. Day before the booking we received confirmation mail of our booking for 90 minutes. On arrival we were Informed our booking had been changed again and we needed to be out within the hour. We complained, had drinks and sat there until at 1920 the waitress came and took our unfinished and expensive drinks and said "we need the table now". Absolutely shocking customer service. We will never return to this place!

Have eaten here in the past and it was ok, don’t know if their supplier has changed or if their standards have, but the last kebab I had here a week ago made me sick. Also had a bone or something in the chicken doner

This food court? Wooden chairs, holy meals. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft they’re cooking with here, but I had a borderline spiritual experience sitting under a canopy of festoon lights, holding a tray full of joy and zero regrets. Yes, it’s a damn food court, but the food? Oh, the food is legit. Grabbed some gyros chicken from Gyroland that straight-up ended any hopes I had of eating healthy. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to crispy perfection. The sauce? Heavenly. The fries? Like grandma made them after binging five seasons of MasterChef. Then I went for a burger at another stand—juicy meat, cheese melting like poetry, bun softer than my last relationship. And just when I thought I couldn’t handle more, Alandco came in hot with their seafood boils—messy, glorious, and absolutely finger-licking. The kind of meal that demands a pile of napkins and leaves you grinning like an idiot. Then I hit El Arepazo for a Venezuelan fix—those arepas? Pure gold. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed like they’re trying to prove a point. The vibe? Beautiful chaos. Screaming kids, overcrowded tables, the constant hunt for an empty seat like you’re at a festival. But somehow, in the middle of all that noise—you feel alive. It’s the kind of mess that works. Bottom line: No Michelin stars, but full-on flavor bombs. My stomach has spoken—10/10, would eat again. Highly recommend—with your mouth full.
