Food and drink is always very good and the service is friendly, helpful and straightforward. The cafe also has a comfortable atmosphere, the interior is well decorated. I enjoy the Mediterranean breakfast the most.

Our 2 mochas were delicious especially when mine had cream with marshmallows. The staff are charming & very friendly. Our 2 large breakfasts were a definite hit scoring a 10/10 as it was hot,the bacon 🥓 thick,the sausage tasty,poached eggs on point and that I personally loved how l was able to have the ends of a cut loaf 🍞 of granary bread. Such a popular place to eat as people came & went as if this was the norm for such a tucked away location by the river parrett. Will definitely be returning when visiting Bridgwater in the future.

It's a nice place to go with family. My kids enjoyed a lot. Food was good n service was excellent. One must visit this place. I would definitely plan again to visit this place.

Well what can I say.... Julian and his team are simply the best that anyone could ask for. So friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble and reasonably priced as well. We are at the Bridge most weekends and at time with friends tagging along as well. You can't do better than here!

Little gem of a cafe in Bridgwater. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Good was really good and the menu has a good offering. Very brunchy. Had the shakshuka and feta jacket potato really tasty and their coleslaw is Sssoooo good. Portions were really good.

This evening we attended The Bridge Cafe for a 'Tipsy Afternoon Tea' and it was fantastic! Delightful and fresh food, Christmas themed, with cocktails 🍸Fantastic service also from Charlie and Julian. We dine here often for breakfast, brunch and lunch - a wonderful place with lovely staff. Thank you 🥰

What a find this was, I was visiting family in Bridgwater and were looking for a cafe for lunch. Very pleased to find this place after looking at a few 'chips with everything' types. The food was very tasty, well priced and delivered with a smile. The whole place was just right, atmosphere, staff, decor, menu, everything. I will certainly be going back on my next visit.

When you think about cute intimate celebrations, The Bridge Cafe should be the first venue that comes to your mind. They hosted my babyshower and the quality of the event remains unmatched. Beautiful restaurant with accessible parking areas, the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Service was delightful and very professional. Highly recommended!

Service very slow took 10 mins to take my order and then I had to wait for order to be completed young girl very good very polite but other lady very slow in serving people .overall bad service to start with but I didn't order food as not much choice on menu very packed and busy so won't be coming back.overall 1 out of ten for service

We went here on Sunday, awesome food and fantastic service. The front of house team were super friendly and helpful and the kitchen team produced great quality food with clearly high quality produce. We had the Shaksuka eggs and English breakfasts, all went down well and the spicing shaksuka eggs was spot on. Really reasonably priced and great decor. We were all surprised that this place wasn't packed, we later learnt from our waitress (Didn't catch her name but she was awesome) that they had only recently started opening on a Sunday so this might explain it. I would highly recommend.

A lovely simple menu with good portions 👌 Service is a bit hit and miss, it took white a while to be seated, with no one acknowledging us for a while.... but it was a busy Saturday lunch time. The food is nothing special. Their sourdough is definitely not sourdough. But the portion of avo on top was really generous and very tasty! My friend had the granola bowl which was huge! A good spot for a cheap, simple breakfast or lunch 👌

Impromptu breakfast at The Bridge this morning on the way to Plymouth for a crossing to Spain. Delicious food, amazing service, even treats and water for the dog. Staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. Thankyou

In need of a coffee I looked for a cafe that welcomes dogs. I found The Bridge and was not disappointed! My dog was welcome, the coffee is very good, service excellent, lovely lady and gentleman serving. Spotlessly clean and pleasant surroundings. I will be back again to try a breakfast or maybe lunch.

The Bridge is such an amazing place to visit. We visit every week for breakfast and are always welcomed so greatly by the staff and service is always prompt and polite. My wife is coeliac and they have a great range of options and ensure that they accommodate well for her allergy. The coffee I believe is the best in town. If you are looking for a cafe with a calm but pleasant atmosphere with excellent food and service look no further!

We travelled to Bridgwater for the day and my sister recommended this venue for lunch and a good idea it was. We didn't have to book, service was excellent as indeed was the food. Great selection from cocktails, wine, omelettes through to a special Xmas dinner and everything in between. Such a great place to dine or just have a coffee

We walked in and there was only tables of 2 the lady put 2 together so we could sit together, the food was lovely I had quiche with salad ,it was also nice to see sweetners on all the tables. They came over and checked if we were OK and food was ok, service was lovely would return again.

Fantastic place to visit. Had a brilliant freshly cooked breakfast and lovely coffee. This place just gets better and better. Recently redecorated it really is worth a visit. Julian and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. I can recommend the eggs benedict. I will be going back very soon.

The food was spot on, only wanted a dimple baked potato with cheese and Worcester sauce, sounded nice and different. It came with salad and coleslaw, plus lashings of cheese…. Melted and yummy. The staff/owners were a lovely welcoming pair. Couldn’t have a nicer bit of customer service as polite, non judgmental and warm as these were. The surroundings of the café/restaurant were tidy and clean with sharp lines and pleasing distances between tables. I always say if locals use it, then it’s good, and there was a lot of customer for a Thursday lunch time. The owners were attentive and quick to serve, which means they are efficiently running the cafe properly. Thank you

We haven't been in the Bridge Restaurant for a while but heard that a couple of years ago it changed hands and was now very nice so we decided to give it a try. It was very busy when we arrived which was a good sign but we soon got a nice table for two which was cleaned for us. There is also some outside table and chairs for when the weather is good.They brought the menus and now they have table service rather than queuing at the counters which is much better. We only had a drink and a toasted tea cake but everything came out hot and was nicely served. All the food we saw coming out looked very nice and there was also a good selection of homemade cakes. We were made very welcome even during a busy period for them. We will definitely be making a return visit very soon to try the breakfast/lunch and of course some of those nice looking cakes!

Best place in Bridgwater to grab a hot drink. Friendly service, nice views of the river and old town and great coffee.

Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast

After moving to the North of England, memories of The Bridge Cafe persuaded us it was about time we made the 7hour journey back to Bridgwater to revisit. The staff, the food and the ambience were as wonderful as remembered and it was lovely to say hello to Julian and the rest of the team. Hopefully we won’t have to wait so long until we next visit. If anyone one is in the Bridgwater area we strongly urge you to pop in to the Bridge Cafe and have a delicious meal, in a wonderful atmosphere, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Had a quick breakfast, really nice

Service was slow, the server kept forgetting us and we had to keep going back to the counter for things he had forgotten. Ambience was good with comfortable seating and a homey atmosphere.
