Brewhouse & Kitchen Gloucester Quays in Gloucester

Fantastic meal and drinks at the Brewhouse yesterday. Great vegan options,different from the norm m. Good size portions and So delicious. JoJo was our waitress and she was extremely friendly and attentive and recommended some great beers. Can’t wait to go again!

I usually drink Rhapsody IPA in the Gloucester branch, which is always lovely. I wonder why the colour today is so dark and the taste off. I ask the bar person what's up with the pint. They informed me that Matt the brewer who moved to the Cheltenham branch has sent over a stock of badly brewed beer to get rid of in the Gloucester one. How awful. This is obviously out of order and says that Cheltenham deserves better beer than Gloucester. Nimbyism... Not in my pub. What I don't understand is why it wasn't refused in Gloucester as being the muck it is. I'll wait until they either throw it out, or it gets used up by unsuspecting drinkers before I buy another pint of it.

Very large place right on the docks in view of the opening bridge. Was a pretty quiet lunch time when there but very pleasant and good service and food very good. Nice to have a beer flight of 3 mini beers, 1/3 pint each too. Outside seating if weather allows.

We had a fantastic Gin Tasting Experience courtesy of the excellent Marcus. He did a great job of teaching us all about different gin pairings and also was a fountain of knowledge regarding the history of not just gin but alcohol through the ages. Highly Recommend!

It had been a lonely October. October 31st looms in the distance which always means one thing: it’s time to renew my javelin coaching certification. People always look at javelining with such disdain. It’s just throwing a big pointy stick they say. Where’s the skill they ask? But I know it’s more than throwing a big stick, and I know where the skill is. My outlook on javelining has always been simple: brace, charge, throw and glide. It is this simple framework that’s allowed me to train the very best at the art of the javelin. Fiona Floater, Steve the Skimmer, and Sufyan Jones - star javelin athletes like these don’t coach themselves!! But I need my certifications if I want to train the next generation to throw javelins. Because of this, I’ve been heading to Brewhouse every night to revise. On the day of my latest visit - everything seemed normal. I ordered my regular habanero honey beer can chicken and thought nothing of it. My delicious food arrived, but to my shock, so did my ex-wife Sandra. I thought she was in rehab for throwing vacuum cleaners at people - but apparently she was discharged. Sandra told me stories about exercises they use to reduce her desire to throw vacuum cleaners at the heads of men. She said how they’d shock her with a taser on a stick if she lifted a vacuum cleaner off the ground. She asked the question: “shall we give this another go.” At this very moment, the Brewhouse bar man, Jermain, came round to do the vacuuming. I saw Sandra catch a glimpse of that Dyson and I knew trouble was afoot. She leaned in for a kiss and our past lives together flashed before my eyes. Sandra throwing vacuum after vacuum. Sandra stealing from the British Heart Foundation. Sandra pulling the emergency brakes on our train to Dorchester. So many happy memories. But I didn’t want Sandra. I didn’t want to kiss. But, before I knew it, I felt her cold wet lips pushing against mine. To my surprise, she immediately recoiled. An aghast look grew on her face and sweat began to form on her brow. “My mouth! My mouth is on fire” she shrieked. Suddenly it dawned on me - the delicious habanero honey id been greedily scoffing before remained in my mouth. The spicy heat like a kryptonite to Sandra and her wicked vacuum throwing ways. I saw my opportunity and yanked the vacuum off of Jermaine and launched it at Sandra’s head. I fled the scene to safety. Phew. Food was moist. I failed my javelin certification tests. 5 stars, I would visit again.

Great atmosphere, fabulous food. Our waitress Issy was great. Can’t wait to visit it again. That pretzel fondue tho is amazing …… give me that over and over again.

This was the second time coming here, but the first time eating. The beers are pretty decent, and there is a good range of food to go alongside. I had Korean wings and mac and cheese, which hit the spot nicely. Service was good, with JoJo being kind enough to put the rugby on for me, as well as sharing recommendations on the beers.

My husband and I had a Sunday roast - one chicken, one beef. The meal was very well presented, hot, tasty - the variety of vegetables was excellent and the Yorkshire puddings large and fluffy. Beef was cooked pink and was tender👍👍👍 Staff were professional & friendly - special mention to chef Connor and head chef Mitch - well done!

Nice relaxing lunch after shopping and Charlotte’s service was first class as ever! Beer was good and enjoyed my meal

Fabulous night out food was great steaks wonderful. Emma was top class she was knowledgeable new her beers and made us feel special. After samples of the selection we made our choice, very enjoyable Emma certainly went out of her way.
