Brewers Fayre Monkey Puzzle in Rushmoor

The pub is brilliant for kids. Lovely playground and massive garden, great food choices and all around fantastic family vibe. Very helpful with our son when he was a bit upset. We have also been here just adults and the staff are all so friendly, accommodating and lovely. Food is tasty and well priced. They have a pool table!! Would recommend to anyone, whether you fancy a pint on your own, a family meal out or just a cute time for two of you.

We came in for a carvery today and it was really yummy. So many veg option to choose from and was something there for everyone. They even let me have a bowl of mash and peas for my 1 year old as he doesn't eat a massive amount.

I visited this restaurant today 8 Sept, my partner had a carvery and I had a pie, mash and peas. It was all very nice but was spoilt by the fact my meal came without gravy and when I asked for some gravy I was told by the staff I had to pay for this at a cost of 99p. What a con , what idiot in head office made this rule, the staff were clearly embarrassed by this. I was considering having a meal on Christmas Eve but now thinking twice

Absolutely love the breakfast here, we come most weekends. The discipline the staff show in keeping things topped up and fresh despite being very busy is refreshing to see. Chris is always very welcoming and bubbly when he greets us, I wish I had that much energy in the mornings! Keep up the great work we'll be back next weekend!

As part of a team working at the Farnborough International Airshow, seven of us were staying at the adjacent Premier Inn. We were served by Amy who was helpful and patient in taking our order as we placed 7 individual orders for the same table with our meal deals from the hotel. Our food was of an excellent standard and all served in good time, especially considering some of us had starters and mains whilst others had mains and desserts. I can’t fault the team at the Monkey Puzzle and Amy made our evening faultless and enjoyable. Thank you to all the staff for a great evening and looking after our team.

The worst place I've ever been!! Order food which never turned up, staff not bothered and not interested it was not even busy at the time .they could not be bothered to clear tables if you are staying at the premier inn I would go else where and avoid this terrible place

Went for Sunday Lunch, hadn’t booked but person greeting visitors, possibly the manager, was extremely pleasant and gave us (3 in total) a table straight away. We all had the carvery which was very good. All the staff were pleasant and the visit was very enjoyable. Wil be happy to return.

Very good establishment. I enjoyed my experience with some friendly staff, Daniel and Janet. The place was well kept and food arrived fast!

All good except lack of attentive bar service; however, Amy who brought the good to our table was, and always is, superb. It seems that early evening there is only one person at the bar. At one point, I was 6th in the queue plus I could some on further along at the bar who had not been served whilst all the good orders were being processed.

Amy was really nice and very helpful, food was pretty much what youd expect fair portion sizs and hit the spot. Would go again

I just wanted to say how friendly and welcoming the staff were when we stayed at the Premier Inn next door. You wouldn't think Farnborough a tourist destination per se, but the simple things please and we had a lovely weekend. Sitting in Brewers relaxing was part of it. Laura and Val

We went to the Monkey Puzzle today for our friend's 60th birthday! The staff were incredible, especially, Chris, the Manager, who ensured that we were well looked after and kindly lit the cake, which we bought, and even sang Happy Birthday.! Think his singing was considerably better than ours! We will be back! Thank you so much!

Came for lunch on Christmas day and it was wonderful. Service from the team was impeccable and all the family really enjoyed their meals. Will happily book again next year!

We've eaten here lots as we stay in the Premier Inn next door while visiting family. This time was dreadful though. They were severely short staffed. There were 3 separate queues at the bar with 1 person serving taking orders for food and drink. We queued for 40 mins, with people pushing in and getting cross. We then waited another hour for our food. The staff that were working were lovely, but frazzled and doing theit best with a full restaurant and some quite angry people. The food as always was fine, but it wasn't a nice atmosphere due to the queuing, lack of staff and people complaining. Hopefully it was a one off. We'll give it one more try when we visit family soon.

I stayed at the adjacent Premier Inn while on business in the area for 4 nights and used the Monkey Puzzle for my evening meal and breakfast. Firstly what an excellent service above and beyond from the 2 ladies on breakfast in the morning. What a credit they are to you. I have stayed in many locations on my travels but I would say they are the best I have come across. Nothing is a problem and even though they are busy they have time for a chat. Evening meals were good quality and the service was good. A little delay one night due to new staff learning the ropes. But we have all been there and we got there in the end. All round great experience if in the area would certainly return again

Good cheap pub with friendly staff. Nice to see a pool table in a bar too. Burger was good for the price and drinks some.of the cheapest I've seen recently. Worth a visit.

We tried to book but app didn’t confirm booking. Maybe that was a red flag. Diana walk in and no issues there loads of spare tables. Order 2 main courses and 2 starters to come out all together. Told no problem easy to do. First off staff are great. Very friendly. From ordering the food it took 40 minutes to arrive. Main courses came out followed shortly after by the two starter meals as my wife couldn’t manage a full meal. That bit they did right. Unfortunately the two starters were stone cold as they had been stood while they cooked the 2 main courses. One was the bbq chicken pieces (cold) the other was cheesy potato skins (cold) they were awful. So cold the cheese skins could be picked up in one lump. Returned to bar they said no issue new ones will be cooked. These arrived 20 minutes later and yes were hot. Problem was we have eaten ours so my wife had to eat hers alone. The cheesy skins were absolutely soaking in fat. They were disgusting. They offered free drinks for the 3 of us as consolation. Wouldn’t eat there again.

Good and Tasty. Price are perfect for food what you get. More busy during weekends. Staff very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was amazing with the all you can eat buffet. There was a lovely mixed choice of food with continental and cooked breakfast. We have been to many hotels and this was one of the best choices we have had.
