I found this online as I wanted to take my Mum for tea and cake somewhere, so off we went. After quite a search (using SatNav) we eventually found it. It’s exactly as we’d hoped - warm and cosy, excellent staff, delicious cakes and a really good pot of tea. Definitely glad we persevered and we will go again for sure. Lovely 👌

Lovely little tea and farm shop. Buy the lovely Biddenden red wine and home made cards in the shop and have had a lovely lunch in the tea shop. Tiny cafe with an excellent selection of food on the board. Tea and coffee is good. Service excellent and there are a few tables outside too. Parking on site. Always busy when we have visited so very popular.

The tearoom has a lovely atmosphere and handy for the farmshop which joins the tearoom. However , it is pricey for what you get .

This is a lovely tea room and very warm and cosy. We ordered a vegetable soup that we were told were home made. I would very much doubt it. Both if us felt this. If we known we would have ordered something else. However, the granary bread was lovely. We wil lbe back at some point. The tea rooms had a choice of 3 soups so that is another reason why they probably are not home made. We asked if they were homemade and they ensured us they were.

We went to Bredgar Farmshop tea room late one morning and it was absolutely brilliant. Quick and smart service with a smile and the food was delicious. To top it off, a gorgeous view of the pond from the outside decking.

Been here twice in two weeks, and enjoyed it greatly. My wife and I had some car repairs done locally, and came in for coffee/lunch - and tremendous ice cream - on the weekdays we dropped off the car and picked it up. The staff are friendly and helpful, the menu is suitably light, and having the Post Office and Farm Shop in the same building is a great bonus. The bus stop for the Sittingbourne & North Downs (Chalkwell) services is right opposite, and there's a pleasant view of the village pond, which is a historic landmark in its own right. The patio is particularly pleasant in the sunshine. The café allows dogs inside, which doesn't suit everyone, and sometimes the background noise can rise to an uncomfortable pitch, but all in all a little gem.

Visited here with a friend last week. Was looking for something traditional by way of quaint village tea rooms. It was cold inside and very unwelcoming. All the cakes were not home baked as you would expect in a village tea rooms. In fact they were bought frozen from a cash and carry. The food also was all p'dinged or came in pre packed tubs. No homemade sandwich fillings. Very sparse menu. The interior was drab, unkempt looking and staff were not overly chatty. I will not be returning and wouldn't recommend.

On my way home from a trip to the beach, was shocked that I didn't see anyone selling fruit in one of the many lay-bys along the route home.I had seen this place advertised a few times, so decided to take a detour and check it out.Not much in the way of local produce, but there were lots of artisan chutney and james etc.Bought some strawberries and cherries, both were pricier than supermarket produce, but equally you get what you pay for, large ripe juicy flavourful fruit, not the bland pelt the average supermarket sells.Lots of cakes and pies on sale, not kept covered etc, this I found off putting to say the least, especially when they are close to a wide open door where cards drive past to park

First visit here and what a delight. Beautiful old building with lots of rustic charm. I had a ploughmans for lunch and it was delicious; scotch egg, assortment of cheeses, slices of ham, mixed salad, chutney, pickled onions and a piece of baguette with butter. For £5.95 it was amazing value. Would definitely visit again.

Good place to stop for a breakfast or light lunch. I ate there with my adult son and we both enjoyed jacket potatoes with cheese, served with a large fresh salad and coleslaw. The other fillings were coronation chicken or coleslaw. The potatoes were £4.95 each and a pot of tea for 2 was £3.20. There are also toasted sandwiches, cakes etc. and icecream.

Came here with my partner, nan and grandad for afternoon tea. Both nan and I had prosecco with ours where we had a large glass and what was left in our bottles.Lovely food, scones were delicious and service was great too. It was very quite but I’m sure that was due to the bad weather. For what you got, the price was fantastic. Would come back again!

Cafe itself is nice and I must say cakes are lovely, HOWEVER....my son ordered a bacon sandwich and bacon was appallingly. Think it had been cooked in the microwave grill as it did not resemble any bacon I have ever seen! To be fair, it was gone 9am in the morning and he was starving so he ate it. But WON'T be back for seconds! Would recommend the place for tea and cakes!!!!

Visited Bredgar Farm Shop for a quick lunch on Saturday as not been since new owners took over. Not quite what I expected from a farm shop - pre packed sandwiches, toasties in packets which needed reheating - I was expecting fresh made to order lunches. The toasties were only just warm - the cheese had not fully melted and were served on a small plate with no added garnish or crisps.Extremely disappointed and will probably not return in a hurry.

I stopped off from my cycle ride for a cup of tea this morning. Very busy, after waiting for twenty minutes for the cup of tea to I had paid for to be brought over to me I left without having the tea to resume my ride. Very disappointed with the service. Would not recommend stopping for a drink or snack when busy as the staff can not cope.

No he visitado Bredgar durante años.

Visited mid morning with some cycling friends. Plenty of places to park bikes and to sit, both indoors and out. A nice "rustic " feel to the place. The staff were friendly ,and the food ( we had light breakfasts) well presented, clean, and average pricing. The bathroom ( there only 1) was clean.Would I go back ? Yes most certainly

My friend & I went to the Bredgar Farm Shop & Cafe on impulse. We hadn't visited before despite it being in our local area. We entered via the Shop entrance. There was a young lady at the counter who ignored us despite our "good morning". After a quick browse of the shop we went into the cafe. There were two ladies at the counter who both became very busy as we approached. The older of the two eventually turned around so I asked for a camomile tea for myself & a cup of hot water for my friend. I was told to pass the box of teabags over as it was at the front of the counter! The mugs were on a shelf but the woman seemed to have a problem choosing one so I said a mug would be fine. After paying we said we would sit outside. We waited for the drinks & then heard a shout the "tea is ready". I had expected it to be brought to us! When I collected the tea & the water I was told I would have to pay 30p for the water! Surely the time to charge would have been when we paid for the tea. The mugs weren't the cleanest - we both had to wipe the rims. I have been to many cafes with my friend & we have never been charged for her water. Neither of the women in the cafe knew how to smile. I found the whole experience of what appeared to be a charming cafe in a beautiful location rather disappointing. Needless to say, we wont bother to return.

I recently had reason to contact Greggs head office following a visit to this branch. When I informed them that I wanted to eat-in, they said that I had to give them my details. I gave them the information asked for, but felt uncomfortable with the manner that my details were taken. The information I provided was typed into a tablet held behind the counter. Once provided, I sat down. I decided to speak to the manager about my concerns. He was unable to provide me with any information about where my data would be held, for how long and what use my data would be put to. He indicated that it was for COVID and nothing further. I pointed out that I was wearing a mask to prevent spreading this illness and not one staff member was. He said that it was personal choice. I contacted head office to ask what their data protection policies were and was offered a general explanation, not related to what this branch was doing. Anyway, their head office said that shop staff should NOT be stopping entry into the restaurant because of anyone not giving personal data. Today I returned and staff are doing the same thing. Still nothing about data is displayed in store and no explanation about how the information is used.
