Brass Monkey Ice Cream in Brighton and Hove

Qué increíble hallazgo, después de aventurarnos por los carriles en Brighton y detenernos en varias cafeterías nos encontramos con este establecimiento bastante divino. Sirve sus bebidas calientes habituales como tés, cafés especiales, etc, pero también sirve helado orgánico galeto, que es más denso y suave y viene en una variedad de sabores. Otro dato interesante es que todos los pasteles son caseros y son combinaciones realmente raras como pastel gris conde, pastel de jengibre, banana y pastel de chocolate por nombrar algunos pero tienen muchas variaciones para elegir y todas muy únicas e individuales para este establecimiento. Las rodajas son enormes y saben absolutamente deliciosas teniendo en cuenta que nunca hemos probado nada igual. Son brebajes de ingredientes con los que no necesariamente harías un pastel, pero funciona, realmente funciona. El lugar está escrupulosamente limpio por dentro, fresco, aireado y luminoso. Muchos asientos por dentro y por fuera. El personal es amable y atento. La única razón por la que le di una calificación muy buena sobre una calificación excelente es solo debido al hecho de que las tortas están un poco secas para mí, un poco de crema para verter o crema coagulada sería fantástico, pero no ofrecen eso. Esto es solo mi opinión personal y no debe quitar el hecho de que los pasteles son absolutamente devine El lugar abre 6 días a la semana, 11. 30 - 5 . 30 y 6 . 30 un sábado solamente. Muy recomendable.

Paseamos por los carriles buscando una parada de café. Bastantes lugares estaban cerrados. En una esquina vimos este pequeño café. Hay grandes ventanales a la calle y algunos asientos afuera. Hacía demasiado frío para el helado, así que tomamos café y pastel. El asistente era amable y servicial.

Cenamos a la vuelta de la esquina y vinimos a tomar un helado. La señora servía era muy servicial con la elección de sabores de helado y mi prometido tenía una rodaja de la tarta de chocolate también. Recomiendo encarecidamente si eres local

Me pasé por aquí por la noche después de haber tenido una comida decepcionante cerca y me apetecía una recogida - yo - para arriba. Bonito café bijou con una buena selección de helado de calidad y café. El servicio fue amable e informal, nuestro pedido fue servido rápidamente y nos sentamos dentro para disfrutar de la más deliciosa mezcla de helado. Llegamos justo a tiempo porque en cuestión de minutos estaban haciendo cola fuera de la puerta y teniendo que sentarse fuera! Así que en resumen este lugar está un poco escondido, pero asegúrese de buscarlo, ya que vale la pena el esfuerzo!

Excelente lugar de postres si quieres ver a la gente y tener buenos postres. El helado y el pastel de chocolate eran deliciosos

Algunos de los mejores que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Hecho en casa / fresco. El jengibre era una delicia, equilibrio perfecto de sabor. Helado caro - helado pero excepcional, un caso de usted obtiene lo que paga. Nos gustaría volver.

Simplemente el mejor helado que he probado. El propietario nos dijo que es todo casero y se puede saborear absolutamente la diferencia. Gama inusual de sabores, pero si no estás seguro, pedimos probar el albaricoque y la crema y fue increíble. Totalmente recomendable.

Soy un visitante regular de Brighton, pero sólo fui a Brass Monkey por primera vez hoy. Los helados son increíbles, imaginativos y deliciosos sabores, el masala chai recordaba a mi abuela diariamente el té de la mañana. Lo que mejoró mi experiencia fue el servicio ejemplar y el conocimiento del producto de Dylan que me sirvió. Amable e informativo también. No veo la hora de volver. Salud por hacer un gran trabajo.

Oh my - the cakes here are incredible, what a choice! My partner had the chocolate sorbet which he raved about and I'm seriously considering driving 100 miles to have another piece of cake! Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly chap serving and a great location.

We often get a gelato rather than having pudding when we're out eating out, this place happened to be yards from where we ate lunch and what a great find it turned out to be! There are some good ice cream/gelato shops around these days, but the flavours can be a bit samey. This place had some very unusual flavours, without being try hard and pretentious. I had a scoop of the espresso, which was a very good ice cream, but the stand out was the lemon and tarragon which was truly excellent. The guys behind the counter were good fun as well and the cakes looked good (huge!) too, although we didn't indulge.

Delicious, unique ice cream parlour. Though it’s quite pricey, the creative flavours drew us in. The cardamom flavour was a particular favourite, and the service was very friendly.

Terrible service. I ordered hot chocolate for my kids. My 5 year old took a sip and it scolded his mouth which left him in tears and inconsolable. I complained and told the staff about it. They showed absolutely no concern at all and didn’t even offer us a bottle of water. Avoid

Simply the best ice cream restaurant I’ve ever visited. Since we found this place on a visit to Brighton last year, I think we have now visited 5-6 times. The ice cream is amazing and always some unusual and very tasty flavours. We will be back again

My husband & I visited today and had the most delicious cakes & coffee! The ginger & rhubarb cake was one of the nicest cakes I’ve had and my husband loved the lemon & blueberry cake! The staff were so lovely & friendly! Will definitely visit again when we’re next in Brighton.

My husband , who has mobility issues called in here for a coffee while I pottered round the shops , he said they were so kind and helpful and when I came back to meet him the lovely gentleman ( think he’s an artist ) offered to dry my husbands wheelchair down because it had been raining … the other young man was so friendly too .. we only bought 1 coffee but this is customer service at the highest level .

One of the best tasting coffee in the town. Open till much later than most of the coffee shops what is a big bonus. Staff are very nice too.

Everything we had coffee, ice cream, cakes were delicious. I’d definitely come back and try something else as the menu looks terrific. Definitely a sweet bosh.

Such great ice cream and affogato. We had the salted caramel, espresso, and miso banana. The miso banana is surprisingly fantastic. We had the cardamom ice cream in the affogato, per Ben’s recommendation, and it was as exactly what affogato should be. Make sure to stop here after dinner in Brighton!

We popped her for ice-cream just before closing. The lovely man serving had packed up but very happily got it all out and was so kind to us. We tasted lots he was very patient so helpful. Now to the ice-cream very tasty I absolutely loved the saffron and rosewater highly recommend. We were too late to sit in and have coffee but next time we will. I highly recommend going you will be pleased.

A lot of exotic flavours to choose from - I tried matcha green tea and saffron rosemary water. Also vegan options available. Very friendly staff. I would definitely come back.

I discovered the BM a couple of weeks ago and met the owners daughter who was very friendly and knowledgeable serving me. I took a friend there on Saturday and met Adam and Ben, 2 delightful young men with great banter and knowledge about the business and great service with suggestions of combos and flavours and also told us the origins of the BM name… go in try the ICECREAM and ask them what it is…

Cakes were all fresh and really yummy. Hoky Poky icecream scrumptious. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Phil (owner) was super in sorting out a bill hiccup after we’d left. Highly recommended
