Boulters Riverside Brasserie & Terrace Bar in Windsor and Maidenhead

Such a shame. Looks a lovely venue. Was looking for somewhere to host my mum 80 birthday celebrations. Didn’t even get through was told they weren’t interested in the reservation as it was between may and October. Wouldn’t think any business was able to turn down a midweek lunch booking immediately without getting any information or checking availability !!!! But it seems that’s not the case for this business

Beautiful restaurant with incredible river views. The staff were 10/10 - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu, flexible and attentive. Our meals were well presented, delicious and offered good value. The menu offers something for everyone and suited all of us. Really cannot fault - it was perfect in every way. Dog-friendly area is a bonus for us. We will be back ... lots! Well done to every team member.

This fantastically located pub offers brilliant food in a very nice location. Went for Sunday lunch. Food was terrific.

Went for a celebration dinner and the Boathouse didn't let us down. The lamb and duck dishes we ordered were recommended pink so we went with that and they were the pinkest dishes we've been served...and delicious. The interior isn't as cramped as a lot of other restaurants which meant my new found claustrophia that often kicks in at many restaurants after a while never paid a visit. Great view of the Thames surging by after a fair bit of recent rain. Recommended.

Booked a table online on top floor but not available when we arrived. Found the place lacked coziness and atmosphere and a lot of items off the menu. Overpriced for quite ordinary food and wine. Parking is a nightmare. Such a unique spot on the Thames and so much potential.

Came here for lunch on Sunday and were seated upstairs. We ordered starters and then 2 roast dinners. The restaurant got busy but service and food were very good. I had the best sage and onion pork stuffing and crème brulee that I've ever tasted! A nice venue with riverside views.

Chose this venue as it was on the River and had pretty views despite crispy weather. From start to finish the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu choice was great and i liked the fact that they changed the specials. Food was delicious. We were there for a small gathering and the met all our special needs and was appreciated for their efforts. I had also been there for breakfast a few days earlier which is what led to our lunch reservation. The venue had a lovely breakfast menu with plenty of choice and the venue was bright and inviting. Personally i think it is great value for money. We were not dissapointed with any of the visits. Keep it up!!

This is a really lovely looking restaurant - right on the lock. It is very modern looking and the huge glass windows make for great views onto the water. It really is a stunning looking place. However like many places that have a great location - the food was meh. Breakfast was poor quality and not cooked as asked. Service was good. Would return for drinks - but not food.

We’ve had mixed experience here before - particularly with service. This time however, food, service and atmosphere were all great. Waitress was attentive and on-it with requests. We had some of the specials ( posh cod and chips which came with scallops and prawns - excellent). There is a small price premium for dining on the Thames but on this occasion it was justified. Will be back.

The Boathouse is a nice place in lovely surroundings, and the staff are very friendly - but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it for breakfast, based on today’s visit with my daughter. Our Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale were prepared suspiciously quickly…and when they were served, we realised why. Little to no effort had gone into them. The muffins were undercooked. The bacon (on the Benedict) was overcooked and cold. The Hollandaise sauce was lukewarm, very thick and whippy - almost as though it had been squirted out of a can. And garnish? What garnish? As you can see from the photo, it was all very unappetising and we definitely won’t bother coming back.

Disappointing and expensive visit. 30 mins in we were still without drinks being serenaded by 2 sausage dogs as our request to move table was ignored. The food was nice but on the expensive side. Certainly would not go here as much better options nearby.

We hosted 30 of our best customers this week for an evening meal at The Boathouse, excellent venue, superb set menu expertly cooked by Chef and served quickly by the team, prices great value for money! Would highly recommend the Boathouse for any occassion!!

Our visit was ruined by dogs barking through our starters and part of our mains. We asked to be moved to a quieter table when we arrived but this wasn’t facilitated. The restaurant asked for feedback which I gave and was kindly followed up by the manager. He explained that it wasn’t a restaurant but a dog friendly gastropub. The dogs certainly seemed more important than we were. We love dogs and have a couple but were hoping for a dinner where we could sit and talk to each other. The food was nice.

Very average, food overly priced and no very tasty and over the top ! The baba pudding I was expecting a really Baba (Homemade) It was a disaster as was the whole 3 course dinner X 3. For the price you pay, you'd expect to get your drinks brought in to you whilst sitting down outside by the entrance and not going all the way to the bar area to order and bring it to your own table. Very café-like service. Never again 😒

This restaurant is in the most incredibly beautiful location - right on the River Thames. It's my first choice for special occasions and also for a lovely treat anytime. I always feel like I'm on holiday whenever I go there! On top of that the food is delicious and varied, (the spicy garlic prawns are gorgeous!) reasonably priced - and they do a great cocktail too! I went a couple of days ago with some close friends for a special lunch in memory of my late Mum - as she loved it there too. The staff are all really kind and very efficient. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere there. Geoff was our main server and he guided us through all the Daily Specials and also recommended an excellent strawberry cocktail! Lovely chap! It was also wonderful to see Agata who has looked after us before. I highly recommend this place - and I can't wait for my next visit.
