A pleasant place to sit and have a coffee and some breakfast.

The location and the interior is nice, quiet, and comfortable. Unfortunately the service and the drinks don't follow. I ordered a frappé and a cold coffee. The lid for the coffee wasn't good, didn't keep the coffee inside. The frappé was too smooth and kept moving around like a melted coffee. The cook was cooking hot food on a hot surface. They had a tong with yellow plastic sitting fully on the hot surface, melting the plastic right on top with the food... Highly recommend going elsewhere.

I've visited a couple of times recently. It's next to the shopping centre, inside & outside seating. Staff all friendly & efficient. Clean and well spaced out inside. Big windows bring in the light :-)

We love Boswell's eating and feeling like a boss , they serve excellent food and place is clean and tidy🥰

I have always considered Boswells a first class company, with a very good selection of high quality food for sale. But I was very disappointed to go too the Kingswood branch, to buy three White chocolate and Raspberry muffins. To find that two of the three muffins were absolutely rank and extremely stale, what a let down.

Nice place. Prefer it to the nearby Costa. I wouldn't worry about trying to keep the people of Kingswood happy. They'd give you a 1 star review for an Espresso being small

I was 5 mins away from 8 am. Doors open was told to get out. Not in a kind way as to say sorry were not open jist yet. but in a rude aggressive manner.Thought this was a one off came back bit later. My table was dirty. Staff were rude. Asked to speak to a manager no one came. There are many cafes in kingswood with much better care. I will not be back to Boswells sadly.

Lovely place! Very clean, baristas are lovely, kind and smiled. Coffee and toasties were really good. I will definitely go back!

Ended up coming here for breakfast while touring Bristol as it was near my hotel, turns out it was perfect for just that! Selection of breakfast foods, easily make alterations without any fuss, and good quality hot chocolates. Could not ask for an easier place to start my day at with some good food.

Service was good. But I found the food a little bland.

The tuna salad is delicious and so filling! Perfect idea for lunch. A big thank you to the warm and welcoming staff!

I asked for salad on my (very pricey) baguette, the picture showing the sum total of salad I recieved xD I also asked for butter and sauce, which it had neither. When I politely explained this to the staff, I was given a sachet of butter and basically told to do it myself. So I had to sit down and get it out of the takeaway wrapping and do their job for them. Even without these issues I think this place is very overpriced, and fairly low quality

Solid grub, friendly folks, steaming mugs of fresh-brewed coffee. Perfect for a no-frills feast.

Senior lunch , will not let u have coffee instead of tea , as a non drinker of tea was charged , for having tea and coffee, which didn’t make it cheap at all . Hence will not be going again

Had breakfast - sausage sandwich and pot of tea. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Reasonable service time for cooked to order food. Clean toilets and restaurant area.

Very nice and warm in the cafe. Nice lady brought my tuna melt & I forgot my cutlery she was happy to get them for me,a very nice touch I was chatting with daughter & grandson

Stopped off in boswells for a quick drink with my daughter and grandad. 3 staff members were working and service was initially quite slow (to be served) however everyone working was busy making food/drinks and doing table service so it was understandable that it took a little longer than expected. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. I won't lie, it's pretty pricey, our 3 drinks - strawberry and banana smoothie, vanilla milkshake with cream! and a hot chocolate - cost approximately £14. The only slightly negative comment I'd have would be the smoothie was pretty bland tasting, but the others were lovely and well presented. We didn't eat but the food looked and smelt delicious! We visited around 11.30am and while there is limited inside seating, we found a table straight away and everything was clean and comfortable. There is extra seating outside for those warmer days. All in all a pleasant visit :)

We went to Boswells to have food

I used to love boswells but now it's far too expensive I only come once in a blue moon I go to greggs cheaper

Met my brother in law for a cuppa and chat,he lives in Liverpool and had come down to visit his daughter, friendly atmosphere and quick service

I stopped off here to have a bite to eat and catch up with my mam whilst I was in the city. Serve was ok, served quickly, food took a while to arrive. However when it did it looked amazing and was at a decent temperature. It tasted amazing. The shop was busy but the atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. There was clearly locals that were regulars and greeted warmly by the staff.

I usually go there with no issues but, I went this afternoon and waited nearly an hour for my food to only find out they forgot about my order. Wasted nearly an hour of my time! Was offered a free drink but still was not worth nearly an hour of wasted time. Time is money! Should have gotten my money back and given a full free meal.

A lovely baguette with extra tuna Cs I asked and they obliged at no extra charge. A noisy visit this time but they never dissapoint on food and service

The portions are a little small but other than that it's a nice place with a good atmosphere. The toilet is kept clean too.

Quick drink visit. Milkshake the choice and not bad would have liked ice-cream in the milk shake. Had a salted caramel square that was good.

Can't believe they have increased prices again. A cup of tea has gone up again by 25p to £2.50 for a cuppa. I go there every week but won't be anymore. I can get the same for £1.50 in a well known pub down the road from them and that includes a refill. Disgusting as the staff change every 5 minutes and are really slow.

Been going here for years but today's price hike of 25p on a cuppa is disgusting. Simply can't afford to go there anymore. Will be going down the round which only cost £1.50 plus free refills from now on.

Staff amazing. The way they deal with older customers is fantastic, patience and helpfulness when serving. Just witnessed "Leah" find an umbrella to walk in torrential rain with an old lady to her taxi. Superb

Food was good staff seem nice but the system to place an order is backwards. You move all the way down to the till to then place an order with just one member of staff. Then get your drink in my case coffee from the same poor staff member. And wait quite a long time whilst someone else goes flys out the kitchen and makes it back up by the front door. I’d drank my take away coffee by the time food was made. Stood Waiting by the till. Also prams seem to restrict your space to wait. Bit of a rabbit hole this place

Absolute spectacular food and service - will be coming back soon. Food came quickly and was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend, this is an amazing cafe.

Best Latte in Kingswood for sure. Lovely hard working staff. Who probably take abuse from customers at times but no one deserves to be treated like dirt. Say or do something nice to make their day ✌️ P.s i do not work there but leave them a tip. Serving people is hard work. So don’t be afraid of their tip jar 😊😉 only if you can afford it. Times are hard for everyone right now. love to all of you.

Saturday overbearing Music fighting with Peoples Conversations. The Girls working are efficient and Tables are cleared regularly. Although it would be nice if they smiled and greeted People properly.

I have always loved Boswells breakfast but I have noticed poor customer service recently and thought this was due to the cafe being a busy one. I have had my order (extra toast) forgotten on two occasions recently but today was the height of it. My food was served by a lady with black hair and black head band, and as I was eating I found black hair in my food (see pictures). I let her know and she said she will speak to her manager, shortly after a lady came and dropped some cash on my table without any word, I said I do not want the money and she walked out!! No apology or comment, I do not need the money, your staff should be careful when preparing food, I wanted to offer advise that those preparing food should consider a hair net but no one wanted to listen or have a conversation. I left the money on the table and left. You have lost a customer and although it may not make a difference to your business, I will not tolerate this.

Service is slow but the staff are friendly and the food was hot but it did take a while for our meal to come to us but it was very nice and hot on the hole I was happy with the way the building is layed out and it's on ground level

Coffee is very bad here. Also told them “not too hot” and they made it very hot which burns the coffee beans which doesn’t taste nice.

Terrible food order wrong ordered white baguette got brown ordered bacon banquet delivered sausage yes was cold and ordered latte coffee got black coffee paid by card and took transaction twice went back to show cashier told had to wait until tomorrow to get money back not very good customer service won't be going there again

I love this cafe! Huge menu, everything looks so delicious. Prices are fair, service is quick, staff are always cheery and helpful even in the middle of busy Saturday service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I sat here today for lunch with my toddler and baby. Had plenty of time for people watching while baby was feeding. It got very busy. The staff were working tirelessly but always with a smile on their face and always kind and helpful. They helped an elderly lady who was struggling and brought her tray to her table. Also helped some Mums with babies. I was so impressed!! Honestly, what a team! Also, clean toilets and baby changing facilities were appreciated.

Update the open time on Google. So your customers don't wake up and turn around when you are closed.

Bad experience!!!! First time I have jacket potato from them it was cold I didn’t complain and than last week when u went there to have it was cold again. Don’t think I will be going back.

Additional information Happy that I was able to be served with Soya milk and also a decaffeinated cup of cappuccino. Always friendly service.....like the Bakewell tarts.....Shock this morning 50p added to my coffee as they have started to add for Soya milk.....walked out!!!!

Visited Tuesday the 8th of march and had some slushys made a misstake and you young lady made my day by correcting it honesty best customer service you need more staff like her

Great for everything they sell great staff

Always very friendly, polite and welcoming, as are all the branches I've ever visited (eg The Galleries in town). (Plus the two girls serving were very patient this morning when I was scrabbling around in my rucksack looking for loose change to pay with!). Good variety of food. Only drawback is, as another customer said, sometimes I can't get a seat when it's really packed because it is so popular. Personally Boswells is my favourite coffee shop in Kingswood. They do nice chai lattes, which I have as an occasional treat.

Excellent tasty hot breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful and considered dietary needs. Staff wearing masks made us feel comfortable too.

Nice food and drink options (hot and cold), I can confirm there coffee and full english breakfast is very nice indeed. Staff are friendly and helpful Pricing is a little high but it is worth the extra cost. I do wish the cafe was a bit bigger because it does get very busy in there due to its popularity but there isnt anything that can be done about that... During good weather periods you can seat outside which is nice to do some people watching and just let the busy shopping area carry on bustling by while you enjoy a nice tea/coffee and a nice cake.... what more could you possibly want from a cafe.... a coffee to takeaway as your in a hurry I hear you think... they have you covered takeaway is also an option for a lot of what they offer. So would I recommend Boswells? In short yes there is nothing wrong with any aspect of product or service... are there better options I suppose it depends if cost or branding play a part in your decision.... yes there are other options e.g costa coffee... subway... wetherspoons... Gregg's... Parsons bakery to name the biggest options... personally I would recommend trying Boswells worst case you return to a big brand name best case you have found your new place to go in kingswood... medium ground you go there to treat yourself for a change.

Went on a Saturday lunchtime. Waited ages for a revolting tiny jacket potato. Horrible cheap mayonnaise. Filthy tables- had to ask for a cloth to clean myself. Please don’t waste your money.
