Worst Turkish Restaurant ever. Got food poisoning from their mix grill. Do not recommend. I called the restaurant to sort this issue out, they said there is something wrong with me and not the food. The attitude, the disrespect, the disgusting behaviour shown by the management is a disgrace. Please avoid at all costs. Do not go to this restaurant! Try Tippo Turkish restaurant opposite instead, much better food with good customer service.

The best Turkish restaurant in the UK. Amazing food, excellent atmosphere and friendly staff. Also, many vegetarian and plant based options.

We were served by a lovely lady who made the experience here amazing! Food is delicious and portions are very generous.

Ate here for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Very tasty food, lovely service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend Had the meze starter. Dips and sauces were delicious and the bread was soft and tasty. Then had the mixed shish for main, meats were seasoned to perfection. Would come back again

Visited today for breakfast, and had an amazing experience. The eggs were beautifully cooked, the bread was soft and fresh, and the Turkish tea was a cherry on top.

The decor the place the place is quite nice and there is a good atmosphere and vibe. Service was a bit off as waiter was abit abrupt kept missing items. Overall the food was average. The salad wasnt the same quality that most Turkish restaurants have. #flatters to deceive

Overpriced shocking customer service! I was very disappointed 40 minutes waiting time to just get the menu we kept asking for menu and water but waiter kept forgetting 2 hours for food absolutely disgusting food service was rubbish, they’re not following rules for social distancing. they miexed up our order with someone else Manager and waiters were rude forgetting what we have ordered, someone else food gave to us and ours to someone else. Can not believe they running restaurant. And its not true Turkish restaurant No social distancing, exceeding capacity and low hygiene everywhere tissue and napkin on the floor.  Worse toilets I have ever seen, they make millions of £ and can’t spend few thousand £ to improve washing area. Most disgusting toilets. Our mix grill was cold and then he took it and just warmed it up in the microwave, very overpriced they charged us more than the amount of food,.. The management have no consideration for their customers, hygiene or the community. No wonder the virus is continuing to spread with morons like this about, they just want your money., spreading virus and multi diseases for this place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Don't waste your money and time.

Excellent Turkish food. Up there with the best in notts. I had lachmacun for starter and iskender (pictured). Both were exceptional would fully recommend. It was BYOB on this occasion around Christmas too. Unsure if this is the case usually. Very reasonable price too around £15 for the iskender and £4 for the lachmacun

It is not a reliable place, I wanted shrimp, I couldn't even taste it but I paid for it, it doesn't matter, they took 9 pounds more from me, I reminded them, you are right, we took more from you, it was our mistake, they said it was 9 pounds, I said give it back, they said no, we took it, they said we won't give it back, they said they will give a discount next time, I said I won't come again. Be careful when eating your food, they charge too much

The food is delicious but the service is very unprofessional. I rented (party room) for my 30th birthday. I paid for the rental of the entire room but unfortunately in the middle of my birthday party the restaurant service used the free tables in my rented room for other guests. I do not recommend this restaurant. please think twice healing you want to rent the party room entirely for yourself. because they will put restaurant customers there anyway even though you paid for the rental. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

So this weekend Marmaris Turkish restaurant and it was absolutely amazing from the starters to the mains and desserts the food was fresh and delicious the staff were absolutely amazing and I absolutely loved the interior can't wait to get back there..

Me and my family of five ordered a hefty meal with starters. After we ordered the starters immediately arrived. Then when they saw we were done our man meals came. The service was great and so was the food. And props to them for the decore. All in all 5 stars

Loved this spot! Grilled food is genuinely amazing and if you're wanting to try something different, I would say go for the lamb ribs. Best Turkish in Nottingham by far.

Update: Since it has transitioned from bosphorus to marmaris, the decor has changed but so has the quality of dishes. The dishes seem to be slightly better but that all comes at a cost. The service isn’t anything to toot about, feel like it has gone down as they don’t promptly clean the tables or offer tea but to be fair there was only one waiter so they seemed to be short-staffed. Original: Been here before the expansion and it has been good throughout all the years. Consistent quality food, good service and now a better overall dining experience with the good seating provided. The previous staff were great, unfortunate they left.

First time here but my step daughter had been before and recommended it to us. We visited her today so popped in for an early dinner. It was busy already but soon got us seated. Friendly staff, coped well with it been busy as more and more people came in whilst we were there. Food was delicious. We had the sharing platter for 4 and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of meat to go round, even enough left still to take home and another meal each for us.

The food was not freshly prepared and was served cold and I got sick after eating dry raw meat. We traveled for 2 hours and spent a lot of money on 5 different dishes and all were tasteless. Not recommended at all.

Amazing breakfast, one of the best Turkish restaurants in town!! Rahman was amazing and provided a great service. We will be back every Sunday for breakfast

The best Turkish food we've had in a long time. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere in the restaurant - recommend to all.

Like what they did to the place. Food was just above average. Served bread with sauces as a starter, (no charge)Ordered share platter for 2. Bread cake with the platter is as hard so used bread from the starters which was softer. Service was good with good presentation. Also large portions. . They charged 30p for 2 of the most rubbish takeaway boxes and 10p for the bag for our left over food. Also a bit pricey.

I have booked table for 4 person when i went to this restaurant the staf said we dont take reservations on weekend. Then the guy behind me told same staf i booked table for 2 person staff straight away toke him to the table. It such a shame for you guys and your restaurant. I didn’t even sit went out.

Tried this place the day after the new opening. Nice decor and surrounding. Well presented.. Good menu options. Nice complimentary bread and dip, although the bread is tough, also a nice salad Initially the waiter brought the incorrect item from the menu despite me showing what I actually wanted but was quickly rectified. The bread again was way too tough even under the sauce so would advise them to use a softer bread but otherwise was nice. I would come back again.

Ordered for delivery chicken shish kebab and mixed chicken lamb shwarama and received just two chicken shwarama kebabs only, no lamb, and no chicken shish Phoned up to tell them, and the chef basically said I was a liar and he sent the correct items. I took photos, but they wouldn't give me a email to prove the chef lied and so posted the photos here. I think they are scamming people on delivery with cheaper cuts of reformed chicken, hoping the customer won't know the difference.Why else wouldn't they just admit they made a mistake or sent the wrong order, really not fair to make out customer's are lying. AVOID at all costs and go to another restaurant.

A decent size restaurant with ample seating area. The food was good with regards to both taste and quantity. Service was also fast.

Service was ok. Turkish pizza was average. Better places to choose on Nottingham. Maybe I just chose badly today. Would be happy to return to try something else.

Very friendly staff , great atmosphere. We had a selection of delicious starters followed by even more delicious main courses , large portions with plenty of bread and dips. Particularly enjoyed the lamb dishes and aubergines. Very reasonably priced and would highly recommend.

I came here for my birthday they were so sweet and patient with us constantly calling them over. One of the workers (male) was so beautiful, literally made my day💀. But yeah the food was great and great prices aswell. Will be coming here againnn

Bosphorus is a great place to grab dinner in Nottingham. I got the Chicken Yaprak and was amazed at how juicy and tender the chicken was. They also do a very generous portion size. I got the small size and I still had leftovers to eat the next day. High quality food, casual ambiance, and great service. I would definitely come back.

Got the wrong dise, ordered chicken got lamb. Was happy to eat, was promised discount didn't receive. Should keep the promise. Otherwise, it would be a five 5*

I went to the restaurant looking for kunefe for an end of college party for ESOL students. I had been looking everywhere and finally found it. The lady that served me did an amazing job advising me how to reheat the kunefe and told me the chef had not cooked it all the way so I could finish cooking myself to be served hot the next day. It was delicious and the students were so happy that I managed to find it.

First time here ,past so many times and we've always said it looks good. Well it won't be our last visit that's for sure and I'll reccomend a visit to friends and family . Service was great , really friendly and attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere . We went for the Ali Nazik , chargrilled aubergines topped with yoghurt and tender perfectly seasoned and cooked lamb chunks . So tasty 😋 . It came with a lovely fresh salad and rice . We also had the lamb ribs which were perfectly cooked and seasoned and meaty . There was so much food for the money that we even took some home with us . Can't wait to return ,Thankyou .

We ordered a family take away for 6 persons on the 31/12/22 and the food was freshly prepared with love and taste. Absolutely loads, we were two families of 9 people and we could not finish it all! I’ve travelled the middle east a lot and this tastes like you expect it to be. Thank you

£24 worth of crap food. Ordered lamb chops with mixed rice. Which was plain rice and hard as hell, no sauces and lamb chops were unseasoned and hard, was chewing for ages. It also looked and smelled off like the chops were left out for 2 days. The food made me sick 🤢 putting my pregnancy at risk. Rakki rakkas in Sherwood is so much better for Turkish food. This is trash! I’m so angry I wasted my money on this. I don’t know how people can eat from here.

A Turkish restaurant that serves halal food and offers a nice selection of typical Turkish dishes. The servings were big and satisfactory but the taste was normal. Some of the meat pieces were not tender and some were hard to chew. The place is spacious and has a comfortable seating area.

Terrible service and terrible food. There was nothing that went right here. Chips were brought out twice before we had our starters which we kept returning as they were meant for our mains, yet they kept getting re brought out. When the starters were finally brought out the mains followed.. we said that we were still eating so they must have left the mains on the side to wait as when we then finished the starters ready for the mains they were cold and dry. The food would have been able to make up for it but unfortunately it was terrible . Worst Turkish we’ve ever been to, do not waste your money! The restaurant was empty so we should have taken that as a red flag

We had a starter, main and desert and they were all absolutely delicious! Service was quick and the atmosphere was wonderful as well. We will definitely be returning!

The staff here are so polite and friendly. I ordered to take away and had never been here before. I had questions about portions and sides, and the staff helped me choose. So tasty and fresh for a very reasonable price. Will be eating in next time

Let me start with this, the food is not bad, but is average, too average for a place like this. The meat was weel cooked, but bland. The worst part were the super cold tomato and red pepper so I assume that they been cooked ages before the meat and not fleshy cooked there. The staf is very friendly, a bit rude as they started an argument with the other guys from kitchen next to our table, but they been nice with us.

I picked up dinner a few minutes ago and it is the best. The service was quick and the quality of the food is one of the best. The meat is so tender and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place.

Don't think I have ever given such a poor review as inevitably things do go wrong with every business from time to time... But after deliveroo messed the delivery up we were promised a fresh food delivery. What we really did get was a dried out,tasteless food delivery, with completely overlooked meat as dry as it could possibly be.

Very busy, and chaotic. Most starters were run out and all floor staff interfered in the kitchen so mains came before starters. Not enough staff so upstairs had less service.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 2 years now, we’ve tried all the others in Nottingham and this one was the best-up until my last visit. We’ve noticed the quality of the food was lowering and now the amount of meat put on your plate has now decreased only to be replaced with bread! I’m not sure if it’s recently changed ownership but you don’t see the same staff there on any separate occasions? The current staff was more interested in chatting up another new waitress. If the owner- liked we did looked out of the window over to Tipoo and saw just how many guest were in there in comparison to just the two of us in here. Unfortunately we won’t be returning which is a shame.

I visited the restaurant 3 time yesterday. And shop was no doubt very busy. But waiting time for food too long. Once I get the food it was right. Chips was not fresh fried in dirty oil. Literally rang to ask for sauces to be put in with my order, he asked what number the order was, I told him the order and he proceeded to ignore me and pretend not to hear me. Then I said "can you hear me?" He replied "no" Then he could hear me all of a sudden... cut to the chase, food came, I never got my sauces with my food. Annoyed, next time I'll go to Rakki Rakkas with better food and better customer service!

I’ve order by Deliveroo, they didn’t send me the full order! I call them and the guy told me to make another order for sending me the chicken wings that I’ve paid for in the previous order, I paid 6.58£ for a F Ayran just to get my chicken wings. I still don’t get my money back and I’m really disappointed, I wouldn’t order never again!

Visited with a friend who comes here regularly. A fantastic recommendation. The selection of food was amazing, even as a vegetarian, I left feeling very full and happy. Staff were wonderfully friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great value too. Will definitely return.

I've eaten at Bosphorus twice before under the previous ownership, it was excellent, good food and excellent service, hence 3 visits. Under the new ownership my recent visit was dreadful. Poor quality food and lousy service. They've lost the plot. Won't be going again.

I have to say it was an excellent customer service and very friendly and helpful staff, good quality food. Only reason is that i am not giving it 5 stars is that it is a little pricey. Yet i would definitely recommend .
