First time visiting this restaurant and it was well worth it. Attentive and friendly staff and a good menu choice. All the usual favourites with some interesting regional choices, and a good selection of chefs recommended dishes. Importantly everything was reasonably priced instead of the sky high prices being charged elsewhere. Good traditional Indian restaurant, good food, good views and nice staff … and easy parking as well.

I had read mixed reviews but all went well. Tasty food, excellent presentation, attentive polite staff, not rushed. Service pace fine. Watched the sun go down, place was full but didn’t feel over crowded or loud.

I was 'treated' for my birthday, a significant one, and with me loving Indian food it was decided to come here. Other family members were travelling to join us and were a few minutes away, nevertheless the staff tried to pressure us to order. We ordered some drinks and popadoms and pickles while we waited. Staff still approached asking us to order! When the others had arrived soon after, the staff didnt give them a chance to say hi and get seated before asking us to order. Usually one is used to finishing one course and waiting a few minutes before the next arrives. Not with this lot. I finished my starter, went outside for a quick fag then came back inside to find them serving the main course, i felt i was inconveniencing the staff or rather they made us feel like that. We wanted to order coffees instead of desserts but were told only instant coffee, unless we wanted liqueurs in so we had expensive instant coffee charged as filter coffee. Before we had finished they switched the lights on and the staff were all stood by the exit with their coats on! The food? not going to bother about that as the service left such a bad taste in the mouth. It may be out of the way and off the beaten track, let it stay that way. Never again!

Been here before as the views are lovely and food good. Same again went with the family and food was very good. Worth a visit as it is off the beaten track but always something going on

Ate here after visiting the Portsmouth distillery (3 mins walk) Doesn’t look much from the outside but really nice inside. Nice views of the marina and Langston harbour. Service was very good and food was delicious. Wine and food were reasonably priced. Toilets very clean and easy access for anyone with mobility issues with a lift to the restaurants outside decking, where you can relax with a drink before or after your meal. Overall very good!

I booked table in advance 8.30pm arriving on time to be told there wasn’t a table for 40 minutes very poor service not even a complementary drink just told I had to wait so we decided to book a table at spice merchants which wasn’t an bother at all

6 of us had an outdoor meal on the terrace of the Bombay Bay on a breezy early evening. our waiter was very helpful and pleasant .Our pre dinner gin and tonics came quickly with lots of fresh lemon with crispy popadoms and chutney. The food was delicious ,lots of chicken ,good portions and the vegetable side dishes we had were really delicious ,best daal I've had for ages. It was lovely sitting outside in a lucky window of sunshine over looking the mariner. I'm looking forward to going again and being able to sit inside and not be dependent on the weather, although having the terrace is a real bonus when its warmer.

We ordered four different biryanis & when we sat down to eat them the sauce had been made from frozen veg which was mostly potato & Brussels sprouts WHO puts Brussels sprouts in a curry TERRIBLE

I have been eating at the restaurant for the last 14 years eaten in takeaways etc. I have probably eaten in over 100 Indian restaurants over the last 30 years. Including the Michelin starred Benare's in Mayfair The Michelin starred song of India in Singapore thrust me this place is right up there with the very best for a fraction of the price around 10 years ago I read read an article in Sunday times that listed the Bombay as as one of the top 10 best Indian restaurants in the UK I could not agree more. Those people that give poor reviews because they probably took a long time to get home with a take away is not really fair. If you dont think the food is good here they don't bother going out to eat out just buy a curry in Iceland and heat it up in the microwave I have owned 4 restaurants with my brother over the last 30 years and know exceptional quality and this place has it in abundance.

We had the misfortune of ordering a takeaway from here and had prawn puri, lamb tikka masala and Keema nan and pilau rice. What an expensive disappointment. I’ve never seen white pilau rice before and brown tikka masala! The lamb was like keebab meat truly awful food. Probably the worst Indian I have ever had.

We had the squid Amritsari, onion Bhaji, another prawn dish that had a soggy jepati with it.Amritsari was 4 pieces squid, very thin and soggy.Onion bhaji was cooked a while ago, soggy and doughie inside.King prawn Goan, had approx 4 king prawns in. It tasted good. Just lots of sauce and not many prawns for £7.95, not worth it.Coconut rice was delicious.Eaten inside lots of times and good , but I will not waste £30 on a take away again.

My favourite curry house. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are so friendly and food is always perfect!!

Mis padres a menudo me traen comida para llevar en Londres porque todavía no he encontrado un curry tan bueno como el de Bombay Bay en cualquier otro lugar.

Era un sábado por la noche en el fin de semana festivo y, comprensiblemente, ajetreado, pero en los tiempos actuales, nuestro breve encuentro como grupo nos llevó a hacer una evaluación de riesgos y partir. Nos sentimos incómodos con las mesas llenas y apretadas, miembros cercanos del personal nos entregaron menús sobre las mesas sin máscaras, sin desinfectante de manos en las mesas y menús laminados que se reutilizaron, pero sin signos de cómo se estaban limpiando. Estuvimos allí brevemente, pero suficientes banderas rojas significaron que nos fuimos antes de ordenar algo. Parece que el equipo estaba trabajando duro y tratando de hacer felices a los clientes, pero posiblemente a expensas de algunas medidas esenciales, particularmente en un puerto deportivo al que viene gente de todo el país. Sin duda, un buen lugar y un personal entusiasta, pero quizás un fin de semana ajetreado donde se cortaron las esquinas.

Busy on a Tuesday as eat out help out. Great food as always. Service was a bit slow but what would you expect in these times people moaning about how busy it is. Well you are there!!! Never had a bad meal here.

Verdaderamente fabulosa auténtica cocina india! Llamamos para hacer una reserva para un viernes por la noche y solicitamos si es posible una vista del puerto deportivo, nos dijeron que harían todo lo posible pero ya estaba bastante ocupado con las reservas. Llegamos con nuestra mesa lista para nosotros y tuvimos una mesa encantadora con una vista maravillosa. Elegimos de la opción del menú fijo que tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio y pedimos una botella de vino, que también tenía una excelente relación calidad-precio a los 14. 95) La comida era deliciosa como siempre, el personal educado y atento. Fantástico restaurante muy recomendable con tanta variedad en Portsmouth, no te lo pierdas. Tenemos la intención de hacer esto una visita mensual.

First time visiting this lovely restaurant as new to area I can say being a chef myself that the food is amazing great flavours and ample portions and value for money the staff are quick and efficient it is in a great place and will definitely return.

Only popped in for a takeaway, Hussain and staff are very nice and friendly. The service was quick and great. The food was good quality and nicely priced. Cheers guys, see you soon.

Starter was cold. Main meal rice and vegatables also cold. As we were with friends thought it too difficult to complain. Staff not very good. Not a happy crew.

Really lovely family dinner. The food was excellent with a great choice of chefs specials and really good value.The staff are lovely and the restaurant itself is spacious and very clean.There is a veranda outside so you can eat and look over the marina if you want to. Visitamos un sábado muy húmedo y ventoso para un almuerzo familiar para celebrar un cumpleaños familiar. El clima era tan horrible que solo se usaba otra mesa en el restaurante. Aunque la comida era principalmente buena, el servicio era pésimo! El camarero apenas nos habló y pasó la mayor parte del tiempo que estuvimos allí en su teléfono móvil. Dejar nuestros platos de entrada apilados al final de la mesa mientras comíamos nuestro plato principal fue muy desagradable. Con los años hemos visitado la bahía de Bombay en numerosas ocasiones, pero lamentablemente después de esta experiencia no volveremos.

I really can not believe that we have lived so close and never visited before. Amazing meal had by both my self and my husband, the food was perfect as was the wine. The location is amazing. Lots of choice on the menu. The staff were all polite and very helpful. I had the Pani Puri for a started and it fantastic!!

We are local to this restaurant and have never had a bad meal. Service is good and the place is very comfortable.

Four rather than five stars simply because the portion size is small, so it doesn't seem very good value for money. However, the quality of food is excellent and staff are very professional and courteous. If you don't have a big appetite, it's definitely a five star restaurant!

We have eaten here many times and never had anything but attentive service and excellent meals. The food is extremely high quality. Even the “bog standard” curries are better than I’ve had anywhere on the south coast. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant as Indian Fine Dining

We booked an early mid-week table at this restaurant so it was not very busy. It appears that for odd numbers of guests greater than 5 this restaurant cannot comfortably accommodate. I was sat at the end on a double table away from my family members on a table for 4. This restaurant needs to address this problem with some round tables. The menu choice is good & most of us went for the specials offer (starters & main). The starters looked very well presented however my onion barjis were not as they used to be. After we finished are starters the dinner plates were placed on the table but the cutlery was handed to me by the waiter to me to pass down the table line which I thought at the time was a bit unhygienic. (should have said something). I also noticed that the plates were not very warm. Two other points: Why can't the waiters serve the drinks by holding the glass at the side, holding the glass around the top rim is very unhygienic. The hand drier in the gent’s toilet was not working so I left this restaurant shaking my wet hands like a penguin. Not my best visit. May have to wait sometime before returning. I've always recommended this restaurant to friends & family but I will have to think again as I think it has gone down hill a bit

Very attentive service, good food fairly priced (We had the £15,95 set menu which worked well for us, full a la carte might be a bit pricy). Pani puri starter was particularly yummy; very interesting flavours.

This restaurant is located by the marina in Langstone harbour and offers stunning views and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We ordered pani puri and hush for starters, both very unique and tasty dishes. Then we had swordfish and lime bahar for a main, both were delicious. The meat was very tender and service was good. For me, the best place to get a curry in Portsmouth

Booked a fews day before for a 30th birthday, the person on the phone was obviously in a rush and I had a feeling that it would not of been noted correctly. The evening came and, sure enough, no one was expecting us (thankfully it was a Tuesday). A table was hastily arranged and the 5 of 7 sat down - we felt that we were being ‘herded’ along - I would of preferred to wait at the bar for the other guests but, to avoid any more confusion, we sat. Drinks ordered. The other guests arrived at 8.30 (the time that the table was booked for) after that it was executed at 50 miles an hour.....7 people, 2 courses...done and dusted by 9.50pm. Way too rushed. This restaurant was specifically requested by the birthday boy and, to be fair, the food was amazing but if you are going for the upmarket Indian food experience, someone shouting the dish out at the end of the table was ‘stressy’. We expected to have a relaxed experience. It was not. In a nutshell, the food is amazing but the experience was far from relaxing.

Fui a este restaurante. Tenía un biryani mixto, teniendo en cuenta el precio. Era caro. Mi compañero tenía un curry. Todo lo demás estaba bien cuando lo pusieron en la mesa. Tenía un par de sabores del curry de verduras y era vil. El biryani tenía un sabor asqueroso. la carne era tan buena como la carne de hueso estaba seca y sin sabor, afortunadamente, ya no tenía más porque en las primeras horas del domingo tenía mucho dolor en el estómago, continué obteniendo las corridas que mi esposo también experimentó y estaba en El inodoro durante unos buenos 20 minutos, ambos acordamos que se trataba del curry. No volveré a este restaurante.

This place is a little out of the way from the rest of town, but the food is incredible and the views are beautiful. The set menu for £15.95 which runs 7 days per week and is an absolute bargain. My girlfriend opted for the sea bass starter which in another restaurant could cost £10 by itself! I had the Mansho which is a spicy version of a scotch egg. Very tasty indeed! We followed it up with a curry each which was equally impressive and a good portion. The food came quick and was piping hot. My mixed grill was served sizzling on a hot plate and the service was very welcoming. I don’t think there’s a better place in Portsmouth to sit down for a curry and I’ve been about!

We had dinner last night at this place and it was so good we went back tonight with some friends. Service was excellent and the food was great. I had “Chom Choml last night and a “Mixed Buryani”dish tonight.our friends and my wife had similar dishes. Everything arrived piping hot and was delicious, with just the rightbamount of spice and heat. Prices were reasonable - £15.95 for a three course meal (about US $20, CAD $26). A nice location overlooking a marina. Nicely furnished and very clean.

Myself, my husband and my parents came for a meal over the weekend. Whilst the food was great the atmosphere and attitude of the staff wasn't great. We asked to order starters first, then mains but this was not allowed and we were abruptly told the chef would not accept this?! We had to order everything up front at that point (we like to take our time and drag the evening out a little). On top of that we were constantly pushed to order and were uncomfortably observed during our whole stay. We spent £130 during our visit, the table was not booked out again afterwards so was ours for the whole evening.....we won't be coming back anytime soon put it that way.

Really great Indian food with a pretty backdrop out over the water. It’s easy to get carried away and eat too much! But it’s sooo good.

On entering the Bombay Bay restaurant, my wife didn't see a slightly raised threshold and nearly tripped over it. I think it should have a bright orange or yellow strip to make it more obvious.

Great tasty curry in a picturesque spot. Our 6 year old loved her onion barghi and popadoms with pickle tray. Best curry I’ve had for a while!

Having had the boat based in Southsea for a while, it was always great to come in to see Hussain and the guys. They are always friendly, helpful and will do anything for you.

Highly recommended! Very tasty food and a great location. We were visiting the area and called in by chance. If we lived closer we would be regular customers.

Party of 7 booked in for special family meal. Waited nearly 15 minutes past booking time to be seated, table clearly not ready. Had to repeatedly ask for cutlery, for door to be shut as it was cold too. Hot plates had to be handed down the table as waiter couldn’t access so all in all service was not up to scratch. Chipped crockery as well. Food itself was somewhat disappointing. Several of us felt meals were very salty. Mushroom rice just had whole mushrooms in it rather than sliced and worked through the rice as you might usually see it served. All of us felt underwhelmed by the food in contrast to super meals we have enjoyed previously. Despite fantastic location it’s unlikely we will rush back.

We have visited this restaurant over the years as we live in London. I can honestly say last nights dinner was absolutely delicious I love my grub being a big lad and I didn’t want it to end lol I haven’t had a curry like that in a long time. The staff were very friendly and with the set meals only £25 in London I pay £45 for the same. Great views also will be going back on Sunday night as staying in Sunny ☀️ Portsmouth on a 4 night break with my 4 year old.

Went for meal with family tonight+wasn't disappointed!! Second time I've been+great food yet again. Lovely setting,the 1st time went went last summer we sat outside 2eat which was really nice. Inside the decor is very nice+excellent service. Highly reccomend it!!!!!!!

Everytime we have visited the food has been amazing. The set menu is awesome value and have never been let down by the quality of the food. I would certainly recommend.

Had a nice evening here and generally the food was good but as the title suggests a bit over priced. 3 starters 3 main dishes 2 rice's and 3 sides 1 small beer and a bottle of wine was £35 a head. Am I cheapskate ha ha? Apart from your Tikka Massalas and Kormas the average price for a main dish was £12 to £14 plus rice at a around £2.50. Not stupid expensive but for not much more, than in my humble opinion, average food I thought it was over priced and I dine out quite a bit.

Was a last minute choice to go out for a meal, chose Bombay Bay as was local and had friends that had been there, very good service and nice selection on menu, they even had a special offer in the back of menu which was very good value. We just selected our own dishes and thought it was still good value, maybe not the biggest portions but definitely enough.

Spontaneous visit here with a few friends. Stunning sunset views. Food prices are dear in comparison to other places but certainly worth the money. Extensive menu, with some gems. Service is efficient, and staff are friendly. It’s just a shame they don’t do Takeaways!

My partner and I spent a couple of days on the South Coast this week and whilst re-treading some old steps in the Portsmouth/Southsea area, we came across Bombay Bay purely by accident. It was time to eat so after reading some of the positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. I've eaten in many Indian restaurants the length and breadth of the UK but this is definitely up there with the very best. I had the lamb Naga vindaloo hot (shown on the menu under another name that I can't recall) and the balance of taste and heat was incredible. The same goes for the Chicken Dansak which my partner chose. We shared the squid starter which was lightly battered and I would whole heartedly recommend that, it was tremendous. The service was excellent and attentive but never intrusive. It was a horrible night but I can guess that on a nice day, dining whilst looking out over the marina (either inside or on the patio) would be fabulous. We'll definitely be visiting again when we are next in the Portsmouth area but I would also go out of my way just to make a special visit.

I have been here a couple of times with my family and the food has always been great.

Visited on Sunday evening and ordered some vegetarian dishes to share with a friend: poppadoms with chutney, three vegetable side dishes (aubergine, mushroom and sag paneer), pilau rice and coconut rice. All three vegetable dishes were incredibly greasy, especially the aubergine which was swimming in oil. The aubergine was cut into very small pieces and the skin was tough like plastic, making it inedible. None of the vegetable dishes had any flavour at all, not even a hint of heat, spice,garlic or seasoning; they all tasted like they'd just been fried in plain oil/ghee. The sag paneer was tough and soaked in grease. The mushrooms looked like tinned ones that had simply been thrown into some oil. The coconut rice was incredibly sweet and had so much desiccated coconut in it, it was more like a dessert. The plain poppadoms were nice but the spicy ones were stale and tough. The food had so little taste we asked for a curry sauce, hoping it might add a bit of flavour, but even this was totally bland and had the consistency of a very watery soup.

The Bombay Bay never disappoints. We visited early on Friday evening. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and the meal was delicious. In particular the use of really fresh seasonal vegetables is lovely. My husband commented on the great pint as well. The two young waiting staff, a man and a girl were absolutely charming and a real credit to the restaurant. Thank you.

Wow we're taken here last Saturday evening for a lovely meal. I had crab cakes , which were delicious , and prawn purée and tikka looked equally good. My main course was sea bass, served with pilau rice and vegetables. Other choices were lamb chops , a mild chicken dish and balti with naan.We had 2 pints of Kingfisher and a bottle of Sauvignon, also 2 coffees. The bill totalled just under £100 pounds, an excellent meal for the price and the service was both efficient and friendly

This was our first visit to Bombay bay for my daughters birthday. There were 6 of us, all of whom have eaten in various other Indian restaurants. We all agreed that this was the best Indian meal we had had ever, which is a lot of praise. Thank you to Bombay bay for excellent service, very well presented and tasty food and a lovely atmosphere and location. Will definately be visiting you again.

Absolutely love Bombay Bay. The views are great, staff are always lovely and the restaurant's always well presented. The best part is, of course, the food. A wide selection of dishes which includes those you find in most Indian restaurants (korma and the like), plus a whole range of others. Well worth a visit.

We visited for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised. The food and service are excellent and there were lovely views of the sunset across the marina. There were some great dishes on the menu, including some I'd not come across before, something for all palettes. The food all tasted freshly prepared and looked very appetizing.I hope to come back soon and would gladly take friends there for an evening out.

Was on a yacht club rally staying for 1 night totalling 45 people-had to obviously book ahead with that number!!Very popular place to tuck into excellent curry.Extensive menu-we all had set meal due numbers-any choice of starters/any main course and any side dish and very good value.When dishes turned up after only a short wait we all very happy with the portions and quality presented.Jugs of iced water turned up without usual asking for elsewhere .Good range of beers/wines.Captive premises but deserved support.

This restaurant is very close to us ,however we decided to have our meal there and I have to say it was a very relaxing experience we were not hurried or harassed in any way.The food was delicious and well presented.The staff were efficient and friendly.As A big bonus as this restaurant is upstairs ( there is a disabled lift) it offers panoramic views over the marina and langstone pond as we call it.If the weather is good eat outside If not you will still enjoy the food.

With tough competition and despite its isolated location (beautiful sunsets now over marina), it remains our favourite indian restaurant in town, with unusual starters (eg mussels with rice) and mains, all cooked freshly nothing tasting the same. Service is always polite and efficient. Highly recommend even if you don't own a yacht to dock downstairs.

First visit to this restaurant after a recommendation from a work colleague, I'm glad I went for a birthday treat with a friend, excellent food and service in very nice surroundings with a great view all around of Langstone marina and harbour.I will be taking more friends to this restaurant in the future.

Bombay bay, Thank you for a fantastic meal, The starter of pani puri was a surprisingly nice change, flavoured perfectly and a good portion size. The Goan chicken with its many flavours was an inspiring dish, so many fresh ingredients that with every mouthful it was a taste sensation. The mixed rice with its flavour mix did everything to enhance my delicious curry. Truly marvellous and a hats off to the chef, I found the staff both pleasant polite and professional. Nice layout and the interior decoration was pleasant. It's location is certainly off the beaten track but don't let this gem of an Indian pass you by. Fantastic views across the marina and a great outside space. In brief truly worth a visit

My wife and I we gave decided to celebrate at this location. It was the first when we have had visit a indian restaurant. The staff were amazingly helpful to run us through menu to make our choices acordingly to our preferences. As a starter I had Beguni Murgh ( sliced aubergine wrapped arround spicy chicken) and as main dish I had Rajestani Chicken with Pilau Rice ( man this was divine if you are into hot food) , location view is amazing if you enjoy looking at the silenceses boats that carry the mistery of the sea. Recomend this restaurant as one of the top dishes in Portsmouth.

First visit. Been meaning to visit for many years. Very attentive hosts. Lamb Rogan and King Prawn Bhuna were our choice after starters of poppadoms. Please will restaurants consider slightly bigger tables as there is never enough room for side dishes, glasses, plates etc. Food was exceedingly good

We visited this Indian Restaurant last Saturday and had a really enjoyable meal. The views over Langstone Harbour are magnificent. The service is excellent, not rushed like other Indian restaurants, and the food was excellent.Would recommend this to others

Lovely location, great views, friendly staff....but sorry guys the food is not good.First and last visit.We all commented on how bad the food tasted.Garlic naan was a plain naan with a sort of garlic salad cream squirted over it...truly awful.Balti was easily the poorest I have ever tasted.Big shame as such a nice place...but the food s kind of important in a restaurant.

Have not had a takeaway from herein a while so thought we would treat our self to one.Wife had the usual duck tika Masala Her favourite. I had the mixed tandoori grill.Have to say that the food on this occasion was terrible. The duck looked and tasted like pedigree chum. The rest was no better. Will not be coming back totally put off by this experience.

We had a superb meal on the outside deck in the beautiful early evening overlooking the marina. The food as always was fantastic! The set menu is highly recommended as it gives you a huge choice. We were stuffed especially after some more beers watching the sunset. Just book it!

Excellent food, speedy service and good value compared to most Indian restaurants. Only downside was that we really wanted to sit outside to eat as it was a lovely evening and the outside seating area is really nice. When we asked if we could sit outside we were told it was too windy and we had to eat indoors. It was completely breeze-free, so we were quite confused. Apart from that, we had a great meal and a nice evening. Will definitely return!

Nice location and the staff are very friendly. The food is excellent it was served to our table in a reasonable amount of time and was piping hot. The food was very flavorful with a wide selection on the menu.

I virtually stumbled across this little haven on a marina after partaking in few light refreshments in the marina bar below, both of which i would recommend, however not food from the latter! Whilst visiting the area on business and coming from London ,i am always anxious of eating Indian or Asian food as i feel quite spoiled for choice in London and have, in the past had a few bad experiences, mainly food of poor quality. This ,believe me is not an issue at this establishment, service and food were exquisite and will be back regularly throughout my business stay over the next few months. I recommend there two course dinner for £12, great value for money!

An overdue return visit early Friday evening. Lovely, polite service and enjoyed poppadoms and chutneys to begin. The starter menu is lovely but always feel too full to enjoy main so we skipped and ordered lamb tawe ki burrah chump. Not much description within the chef's special menu but the waiter explained the dished was cooked in a special pan called a 'tawe'. It was medium and very tasty with a slightly bitter flavour throughout; different to some of the sweeter bases sometimes used. We also tried the chicken murge bange which was also a new dish. It was lovely, quite subtle in its flavourings but the chicken was beautiful..... peshwari nans were also delicious. Finished off with lovely coffees. Upon paying the bill we presented the waiter with the loyalty card we'd picked up last time. Sadly, the scheme no longer runs but is still referenced on the website (technical issues mean they can't remove this part of the website?). Overall, still the best Indian we've ever visited.

I came here for a quick meal before departing for a ferry to France.The restaurant is upstairs with a veranda that would be nice in the summer to eat one (it was closed on our visit). There is a marina bar/restaurant downstairs, so can be confusing for first time visitor's.We where shown to a table quite quickly, and the place was nice, roomy and not the tables were not too tightly packed in.The menu had a varied and wide selection of food. The prices where reasonable. The food was not bad, but sometimes didn`t have the kick like others I have had elsewhere (I always seem to go for a Balti). It wasn`t bad, just didn`t have that 'wow' factor. The service was good, and quick/efficient.There is a car park, but it is on the small side, so when both the restaurant & downstairs bar is busy (or at peak times) you may struggle to park.Those in Wheelchairs or with limited mobility going up stairs will struggle going to the Indian Restaurant upstairs, as there was no evidence of a lift.Would I come again? Probably, if wanted a quick bite before the ferry.Would I recommend to others? Probably

Lovely Indian food with some original dishes that offer variety from the run of the mill. Excellent light onion bhajis, fresh curry dishes and friendly and attentive staff. Even the cutlery and glasses are well chosen, not your average Indian place. Of course the view of the harbour and boats on a sunny day helps to make the experience even better.

My partner's 50th birthday celebration. We had never eaten there but the location was perfect to show our home town off to 30 family member from the midlands and London. We couldn't have asked for more... ambience, hospitality and amazing food. I will definitely be back. Looking forward to sitting on the outside decking in warmer weather

Been here numerous times over the years and they continue to maintain there high standard of food at reasonable prices along with excellent friendly service. They have lunch and evening meal deals which are good aswell! Thank you as always Bombay bay !

Great service and food. Menu included squid, sea bass and swordfish which is great to eat by the sea. Sea bass was excellent as was my mixed grill. Definitely be returning.

You should expect a slight wait for your food, but this is a good thing. Your food is cooked to order and is the best Indian I have had for a very long time. This is my go-to for take-away too.

Not Albert road indeed and a fantastic place to eat it is certainly not somewhere to chug 15 pints of kingfisher and throw upIt is far better than that. An excellent decor and fantastic views supplement food that is of a much higher standard than usually found in similar Local restaurants. A tiny bit pricier but you get what you pay for.
