Service and the staff were exceptionally good, really friendly, and welcoming . The food was OK on the carvery could have been a little warmer if I'm being picky, and I thought quite expensive for one course when other places are 2 courses for a similar price.

We collected a TooGoodToGo bag from here and the customer service was appalling. The guy who completed our order was very rude and told me to chill out? weird interaction and somewhere I won’t be going again.

Always a warm welcome and good food

Staff were very friendly. Carvery was nice and decent portions. Dog friendly and a dog station with water and treats was a nice touch! Only downsides were the table was a bit sticky and there were not enough knives and forks. But otherwise a nice experience and a good place to catch up with family on their journey past on the M62.

First time visitors and will definitely be back. Was shown to our table promptly and was looked after from start to finish. I went for the carvery and my husband got the fish n chips. The food was plentiful well cooked and hot, a good selection of drinks and great value for money. Thanks to Beth who made sure we were well look after and was courteous throughout our visit. Friendly and efficient service f I’m all staff and Ellie in particular. Dog friendly with a menu for the pooches as well as a water station and treats. Ordered Ultimate spicy beef burger. It was delicious, juicy with a little heat, fries were hot. Decent burger for a pub menu. Nice atmosphere, not mega busy so enjoyable!

Last time I came to the Bobbin Carrier I was served by Thomas , hes a pleasant lad with a heart of gold , fantastic customer service .

Good front of house but the Kebab wasn’t very nice and the other meals around the table were just ok

We came in yesterday and we got a carvery it was amazing and the service Ellie gave us was amazing she was very efficient and very friendly will definitely be coming back here. 100% recommend!!!

Came a few weeks ago, with my nan. The food was lovely, and we was taken care of by Isabel and Sienna , lovely young girls !!

Booked for a family meal on Sunday, we was greeted my a friendly member of staff and shown to our table. Everything was explained to us on how to order and what was available. Was great for our party as we all didn't fancy the carvery. 4 out of 6 had carvery which was very tasty, nice and hot as it should be. The best part was the melt in your mouth meats and the creamy potatoes. My LG had off the kids menu which I thought was very good value for money and plenty to choose from. Thank you to Bradley and the team for giving us a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone. Will definitely be back 😀

The barman asked if my drink was finished, which I told him it wasn't. Didn't wait for an answer and stuck his dirty fingers in glass. Told him he might as well take it and wasn't offered a replacement. I'm here for 2 weeks on business but won't be returning.

Went up for my birthday meal . Lovely clean place with friendly staff. Carvery was very tasty but they also had full menu available, not just Sunday dinner. Reasonable prices. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be going again. Keep up the good work guys

The service wasn’t very good it was very quiet when we visited we ordered our food got our starters we finshed them and they brought out the mains but didn’t even clear the dishes from the starters they brought out half of our party’s food and 10 minutes later we were still waiting for the rest of the food we had to go to the bar and ask someone when they did eventually bring out the rest of the food we had to find some again to ask for the correct culture.

We were promptly seated and provided with a highchair (that actually worked with working waist clips, which is seemingly rare in pubs). The food was great and my sister who is vegan loved the chilli and had to ask if the sour cream was actually vegan - which it was. I got the mega mix grill and it took me and our dog to finish it. Great food and lovely service. Thanks to Sienna and Beth for looking after our table!

Great place food was good great sevice

After having left another venue due to poor customer service and waiting over an hour to be seated with a hangry toddler we arrived and the moment we walked in we were greeted by a member of the team and seated straight away, we ordered using the QR code on the table and our drinks were served very quickly, we were provided with our carvery tickets and shortly afterwards our toddlers food arrived piping hot, the food was delicious and it was a very pleasant experience for myself and my family. We would definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Amazing place. Come in quite regularly but tonight has been exceptional! The staff were absolutely top dollar, checking in and making sure that our night was going well, they even hunted down some candles for my daughters birthday. Cannot thank you enough for making my daughters night 1 to remember. Will always recommend this place. Keep up the good work guys! The foods great aswell but the servers make it well worth while.

The Food was lovely on our visits and the Staff are all great and very friendly. The Carvery is great and the menu is fab your are spoilt for choice. Over the month I have visited a few times and they have some good things going on the bingo on a Tuesday afternoon and the Quiz on a weds night are always fun. Bobbin Carrier is great and highly Recommend a visit. Xx

Had mixed grill this evening really good portion, well presented, cooked how i asked, lovely friendly staff, lots for the kids to do, great entertainment for the themed nights

Really enjoyed the food, if I have a criticism it would be the Yorkshire pudding was very crispy been left under the light to long, but the meat and veg were beautiful.

Carvery lovely however the gap between us getting the carvery and others who ordered from the main menu was too long. Also it’s 29/924 and there was Christmas music and Santa hats and signs!!! MUCH TOO SOON!!

Woeful... Disappointed yo say the least. Didn't seem overly busy 5pm Sunday evening but after waiting 45 minutes for food ( I asked at the bar where My food was ) I was presented with burnt offerings. Cowboy burger on chard buns and cold fries.. Mixed grill , the chicken breast half ( frozen chicken portions) burnt on one side but presented with the un burnt side up like I wouldn't notice ha. Steak like shoe leather... the frozen peas were spot on ha.. left our food got a refund paid for our drinks, it did seem the staff refund on a regular basis no questions asked. I'd give it a miss loads of decent pubs out there with better standards....

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Isabel and George looked after us throughout our stay. Nothing was too much, making our time here a pleasant one. The food was lovely - we were given a few minutes notice of when one of the dishes was served so that I could collect my carvery and eat at the same time. Will definitely be back!

Had a funeral wake here for our dad. The manager Bradley & his staff were all wonderful

Used to like coming here but food has gotten bland. Hunters chicken was dry, and hardly any sauce on it and couldn't taste the cheese and bacon. Don't think I will be visiting again.

Fantastic pub the whole family catered for, staff ,service,food and drink all top notch ,we will becoming back and bring our dog would be very nice to sit in garden and enjoy the sunshine We all had carvery four large plates all the food was fresh and tasty kids even went back for more veg ,drinks where good price and cold . Even tho it was busy the staff came round to see if all was OK and cleared the tables meet and greating every customer that came in .

Had food at the cleckheaton Bobbin carrier, food was amazing and caught up with the chef after her shift ‘Caz’ who was very professional and amazing at her job! Very impressed!

Nice place lovely people, but the food needs work. Sauces arrived after food wad eaten, tastes like it's been left under the hot plate after being over cooked.

The ordering app was awful to use. No option to edit an item, it just adds another to the order. The basket doesn't scroll down far enough to be able to see all items ordered if it's more than 6 items. Considering the place was almost empty, we had a long wait for food to arrive (approx 45 minutes). The waitress who served us was excellent though and the food was very nice. Food and a drink for 2 adults and 2 under5s was £44 so rather expensive as there were only soft drinks ordered! Based on this, we won't be bringing the little ones for a quick lunch here again.

The service for a gluten intolerant person was fantastic. Really looked after me. Also lovely gluten free pudding and nice coffee. Well done to staff will come again. Been again November 2022 and service was on point. Also great there is draft alcohol free beer it tastes better!

Incredibly slow service. Average basic food. Burnt stake could taste the grill so I’d recommend avoiding steak. Lovely friendly staff nice layout. Nice play area for children. So much potential but let down by kitchen and slow service. If more staff were on I’m sure the experience would have been better too much demand for the team that was in.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area, with ample parking spaces outside. The bar area and a carvery, was presentable and welcoming. I loved the option to order and pay from the table via your mobile, which was convenient. The carvery was nice with good options of what to eat away from the carvery if you fancied something different, at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend for a family or friends get together. Cant want to be back again 👏

The pub is perfectly fine if you know what to expect like a lot of chains it's pretty standard, would go again for convenience.

Can’t praise this place enough. The food is amazing, especially the sausage rolls and the rocky road slices. The service is first class, the staff can’t do enough for you and the atmosphere is great. Can’t wait to return.

Attended a party at the Bobbin Carrier at the weekend, all staff were very helpful no request was too much trouble, they were also friendly, polite and brilliant with the children that attended. The buffet was served piping hot as well as ample amounts and a good selection, particularly the sausage rolls. All well presented and the sweet treats were a great accompaniment. After everyone had had their fill, take away boxes were given so we could take any food home. Great service throughout, will definitely recommend for anyone wanting a function in future.

Lovely family atmosphere. We stopped in on the way home from a long trip to Weatherby. The staff were friendly. there was a pool table for the older children and spacious tables to eat it. It was clean and service was prompt and professional although relaxed to perfect balance. Would visit again if local or passing through.

Came here for tea with my family, the staff were helpful and pleasant. The food and desserts were lovely and all reasonably priced. I have a toddler who really enjoyed the ‘kids cinema’ we will definitely be back in the future.

We enjoyed our time at the bobbin carrier. We all had the carvery. Unfortunately the Turkey was very dry, however the quality of the vegetables was really good. The lady behind the bar was extremely helpful and friendly. Grant Unfortunately appeared surly and while he was very efficient, his manner was curt.

Met with a friend for spot of lunch. Had a lovely greeting on arrival, the place had a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Good choice of sandwiches available, which we thoroughly enjoyed along with our onion rings. Stayed on for a couple of mocktails as the table was ours for as long as we wanted which was fab. We’ll definitely be back to try the cocktails very soon, thank you for looking after us.😊

A rather disappointing visit with a poor carvery meal. 3 pieces of dried meat presented on the carvery counter with veg that was over cooked and like slop. A sad affair as we come here regularly to visit family and this has been the worst carvery meal ever! The waitress did try to resolve this with the offer of a meal token for a return visit, but this has put us off retuning again! Also, as a family of 6, a meal token for only 2 people is a little tricky to split!

I've been here a few times and the food is always lovely. Nice pub really well presented . The staff are always friendly. When we came this time we had a waitress called Claire who provided excellent service to me and my husband. Will be going again soon.

Being a chef myself my specialty is steak I have to say it was amazing(and I will Say if it’s not) we were a party of 4 and all enjoyed our food, Vicky was the chef tonight and would thoroughly recommend the service and staff are top notch
