Boathouse Bar & Restaurant in Rother

Went out for a family dinner there was 14 of us and what a service we had, the waiter called Leo wow what a very polite young man and nothing was to much for him getting anything we asked for.. couldn't thank him enough.

We visited camber for the weekend and visited the boat house for a few drinks. Was very pleased with the service. Lorraine behind the bar was very helpful and service with a smile. Will be visiting again.

Ordered a steak with peppercorn sauce. Steak came without peppercorn sauce. No problem, thing like that happen. We were promised the peppercorn sauce would arrive soon. But after ten minutes still no peppercorn sauce. Unfortunately the steak went cold. Went to the bar to ask for peppercorn sauce again and a re-heated steak. After about twenty minutes a completely new steak arrived… without peppercorn sauce. Still: things like that happen. But the least you expect then, is an apology. Unfortunately this didn’t happen. The peppercorn sauce finally arrived five minutes later. The rest of the family had finished the diner already for some time by then. The steak was okay. Unfortunately the restaurant clearly isn’t focused on customer service and that is too bad when you pay quite a lot of money for your food and drinks.

Was awful. Scarlett the bar staff member was giving her discount code out to everyone. Working with a young man with face tattoos who was service under 15s! They were causing fights. Cannot believe them two were serving under 15s. Not a family safe place, Scarlett was very rude, did not want to help us and was illegally serving minors.

Served by a lovely lady called chloe ross. Appeared to be the only staff member working hard, other staff looked unhappy and chloe carried on smiling despite customers complaining. Absolute asset to this company that should be doing more to keep customers happy! Restaurant on the other hand was filthy, under staffed and very slow!!!

Ellie and Shanie were absolutely brilliant and made our experience really great. They were extremely professional and friendly, answered to all my questions and promptly offered to help when I needed. Great customer services! Thank you, girls, for your help. I wish I could give you 10 stars.

Before our holiday we were encouraged to download the app for speedy ordering to the table but this service was not available. Instead I queued for 20mins to order at the bar where there was no ice and kids fruit shoots weren't refridgerated. When ordering food I wasn't warned of a wait so placed the order. We waited 1hr 50mins for our food and when it came there was cheese missing from the ceasar salad and all most of the food was lukewarm. When we asked for the manager that was another 15 minute wait. Our request for a refund or even partial refund was refused. Although they gave us free desserts it didn't compensate for the terrible experience. A lot of other people cancelled their orders and went to the fish and chip shop next door. Eat anywhere else but here.Also, tables around us were not cleaned and leftover food sat out for hours. I regret trying to eat out instead of cooking ourselves back at the lodge.

Waited over an hour for lukewarm food to arrive and the drinks weren't delivered quickly either. Ordered via the app with no message warning of a delay. 30mins after ordering, asked a member of the front of house team where our food was. 15mins later and she still hadn't returned, so I spoke to someone who appeared to be the duty manager. He said he'd seen our order in the kitchen and it was either being plated up, or due to be plated up next. 15mins later our food still hadn't arrived and the front of house team member appeared to tell us our food was being plated up now and would be next out of the kitchen. 10mins later our food appeared putting our total wait to almost an hour and a quarter. We were hoping the food would be great given how long we'd waited, but sadly not. The chilli beef on the nachos was luke warm and the onion rings on the family sharing platter were cold. All in all, a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend dining here unless you like to wait a long time for mediocre food.

Visited Camber for the weekend with family for a short break. This restaurant is within the Park Resorts Park. We visited at lunchtime and ordered just some starters as we wasn’t too hungry, just peckish. The prices are reasonable and the menu has quite a vast selection which you order via the app to your table. We then visited again in the evening for dinner. Some of the staff were friendly, others didn’t speak. The food was nice, i ordered fish and chips for dinner and it came out with two medium sized fish in batter which was surprising as i only ordered one, but win win. My only complaint is what on earth is going on with drinks!? On both occasions (Lunch and dinner) The main meals came out to the table before the drinks. We must of been waiting about twenty minutes just for two diet pepsi’s. If your getting drinks; order at the bar and not on the app.. much quicker..

We went on a Sunday with a limited menu as well as cooked dinner. When we ordered something off the limited menu we was told ‘ there wasn’t any left’ so we had to choose three different times as we was told the same thing. When food arrived it was cold, tasteless and just pretty awful in general. The place is run by youngsters and no one really seems to have a clue. The staff behind the bar were very unprofessional using verbal language…

upon arrival there were no clear instructions to guests whether to order via the app or at the bar. The main dishes we ordered were basic and with no alterations, yet took about an hour to arrive. Food was passable, but could have been better considering the restaurant was not very busy. There are no waiting staff only food runners, who seemed to be very young and do not appear to be well trained. After our main course it then took a further 25 minutes for our deserts to arrive, all of were standard pre-prepared deserts that only needed plaiting. The venue was clean and tidy.

Now where do we start accommodation spotless resort clean staff ok anything else is just shocking all day breakfast ain't severd all day restaurant only had chilli con carne .have to use the app to order what I ain't very good at.ask for a menu so the lady got a menu.evening meal freezing cold to be honest it's just shitte service.million pound holiday camp run by teenagers..no senior manager on site what a surprise. Buy a caravan he you got to be kidding.

There was a definite lack of management support for the young serving staff. The serving staff were under pressure dashing about inside and outside. There were very many tables which needed to be cleaned and there was definitely not enough members of staff to cope. We entered the restaurant and was advised to order our food and drink on the app which we duly did. After a wait of about 30 minutes we approached a member of staff behind the bar to enquire whether we could have our drinks. We were told they would be with us shortly. After another 15 minutes we asked a passing waiter only to be grunted at and told he was on food only. We went back to the bar and the waitress said they were on their way. However our food then came out so we asked if we could please have our drinks. The waiter said the drinks were done by different people and when asked if he could chase them up he also said he was only on food and then hurriedly walked away. We went back to the bar and then the drinks were brought over by another waiter who abruptly said he was doing all the drinks himself. The whole experience was frustrating and the meals were mediocre.

Good quality and good portion size, prices are reasonable. We had a little wait but it was worth it. Very good variety of food for lunches and dinners.

Where to start? OK it's COVID time and things are expected to be a little different but this place is severely lacking in common sense. Getting a table inside should be done by queuing to be seated however we quickly sussed out that by just occupying a table works better! Three ways of ordering: By their App, by waiter, or at the bar. The app doesn't work and says most options are not available. Waiters are non existent. Ordering at the bar just is just a mission but the only viable option. I feel sorry for the bar staff as they do long shifts and there is only 1-2 taking orders at any one time. Waited 1hr 20 minutes for dessert on one occasion. Once the food eventually arrives it is actually pretty good.

Ordered our food using the mobile app, still sat here over 40 minutes and not even received our drinks and still awaiting our food.

I’ll keep it simple - Stupidity over priced Did not have many of food items on their menu! How can you run out of chips and pizza?!?! The management of this entire park need replacing.

It's like stepping back in time walking in this restaurant, not so much the decor which is modern and clean but the whole experience was like something from Phoenix nights, I am quite surprised they didn't make reference to garlic bread not catching on ! You have to form an orderly queue to get served at the bar and I can understand it from a priority point of view but only having two fairly inexperienced staff on for a half term weekend was an absolute joke, you generally seemed to queue an average of 15 minutes per visit, so if you pop in for a drink and then decide to eat, you can write off at least 40 minutes of your time there. If like us, you didn't realise that despite two menus being on the table a full comprehensive menu and a Sunday menu, you can only order from the Sunday menu, so another 15 minutes lost in unnecessary queuing. The beers had a strange metallic taste to them, as if the lines needed a good clean, fortunately due to the amount of queuing, we only managed to sample two different types of lager, which might have not been such a bad thing. The food was surprisingly good pub food, although slightly expensive if you are a family of four or more. The owners need to seriously look at their operation and employ experienced staff and the right amount, as they will never make any profit, if it takes so long to serve people, I would expect staff to take between £400-£500 per hour on a busy night, with these staff, you would e lucky to achieve that in a full shift, it wasn't surprising that so many people walked away.

All i can say based on my experience is, What awful food! As we were staying on the site & my husband deciding to go home early due to the awful caravan we were given, (pet friendly & stunk of wet dogs) I decided to treat myself to a meal & glass of wine, the place was empty for 5pm & i should of learnt from that, I ordered the fish & chips which took 40mins to arrive whilst the staff were all mucking about, the tables needed clearing & cleaning, then when it did arrive I was horrified as the menu stated jumbo fish, this was the tiniest burnt piece of fish I have ever seen, the small amount of peas were all dried up but chips did look ok, I took the meal back to the bar & asked if the fish could please be changed as I couldn't get the knife & fork in it, silence as they didn't know what to do about it, the young girl who served me took it from me but when it came back less than 10mins later it was the other way, so undercooked & like jelly withe the SAME CHIPS & PEAS, now cold, when i cut into it, the batter was raw & soggy spewing out grease, totally inedible, I couldn't be bothered to complain again, so I just left it, very disappointing & £15 for rubbish as the rose wine wasn't very cool either.

Tables were dirty, food unpleasant unless you had an all day mega breakfast then that was good .person at till was rude and miserable .

Fairly varied menu. Food of good quality. Staff attentive. Reasonably priced for a holiday site. With regard to the negative reviews, I had a drink changed with no questions asked. Also, the people with tummy upsets had probably picked up a virus. I have always eaten at the site and have never had any problem after eating food served at Parkdean Resorts.

Twice in here for a meal. Asked for Archers & Lemonade, I ended up with a pint of lemonade and a refusal to take back regardless of the clarity in my ordering.Supposed to have had crispy fried onions with Chicken Tikka Masala, no onions of any description in the meal whatsoever. Mentioned this to a staff member who ever came back. Typifies them hiding their head in the sand when they cock up.Second visit, order the all day breakfast (with buttered bread).Meal arrived minus the butter on the bread. I returned the bread to the bar advising that the bread should have been buttered. Blank look so I left the dry stale bread on the bar counter and returned to my now cold meal.Mid way through my cold meal, young girl from the bar asked if I wanted the bread guttering, what's the point? I said no thank you but you will be hearing from me in due course.All in all, the place was populated with 9 families so really not rushed off their feet. I recommend you go 10 minutes down the road and you will have a much better meal experience. This place for what you get is overpriced, under-delivered, portion control challenged and not value for money. If I come back here which at this juncture is very doubtful, I hope there is a change in practice and management.

The Boathouse in Camber Sands Holiday Park is well-managed. It has a lot of people to cater for and we were impressed by the food service and the happy staff.Food is basic and British, reasonably priced and arrived hot, fast and attractively plated.Our one criticism is that it opened for breakfast at 9 which is much too late. A lot of people have long journeys home and hungry children, wanting to enjoy the park's facilities. It should open at 7.30am.

Whilst staying at Camber Sands Holiday Park We are here a few times. The menu is good and varied. The food comes quickly and it hot and tastes good. The pizzas are amazing! The food is quite expensive but I think no more than other park restaurants.

We have eaten here for breakfast and dinner since Saturday and no complaints. Staff lovely, food lovely and most of all the kids cleared their plates!!

I went here for a dinner with my boyfriend on a Wednesday evening, not hugely busy, but upon walking inside we were greeted with at least 15 dirty tables, and about 8 outside. We saw at least 5 members of staff walking through and all ignoring the dirty tables. One tall man was good and was the only waiter who knew the table numbers. The starters came within 4 minutes of being ordered, usually I wouldn’t be mad about this but it was luke warm and came suspiciously quickly.. Gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was warm enough to eat. We didn’t receive side plates or cutlery.

We ate there last night an if was pretty poor. I rave it 2 stars for the convenience but the food is not great. They manage to to meals that really cannot be messed up and make them quite unappealing. The shared sundae is huge. The test of the meals bland, ugly looking and lukewarm.

Horrible over cooked chips, food just warm. They blame suppliers, but they only deliver, not cook the food!

Stayed on the park so visited there a few times, ordered steak medium rare on 3 occasions it arrived cooked different on all occasions with no seasoning at all, roasted vine tomatoes over cooked, peas were ranging from green to brown, onion rings over cooked and stuck together. Ordered pop dot doughnuts for my son they never arrived after waiting for over 1 hour plus being told by 4 members of staff that they are on the way I asked to speak with the manager, once he was found which took a while he told us that the kitchen had sent them to a different table......

Read reviews on here that didn't give this place a good rating but still we went and tried it out for ourselves and we couldn't even fault it.

You get what you pay for but when staff are good you are dining 5 star. Every interaction with every member of staff was so warm and friendly, yes there food is very Wetherspoonish but I enjoyed what I had (roast dinner) and felt it was good value for money. The staff looked after us and for Sunday service it was excellent. Well done team!

Awful. Cost 50 quid for a lasagne, 2 burgers, and a chicken burger. All were lukewarm, lasagne was cold. Heard many other customers complain as well.

To be fair we only had drinks so I can't comment on the food but the staff were friendly and the drinks all good temperatures.

nothing exciting there - just a typical pub of a whetherspoon feel. the menu is ok with typical choices abd the quality of food is just average, not bad but you know it's come from far away and is not freshly made on the premises by some good chef.

Visited several evenings whilst at Parkdean Camber Sands. The food was excellent, on one night the wait was long but the other two nights was reasonable.

The food was very nice but we did have to wait a while for the food even when the restaurant was not that busy. Also when the children had finished they meals we had to then ask for the ice cream for them. The place was very clean and staff were friendly i was just disappointed with the wait with small children.

Only 2 bar staff, dirty tables inside and out. Ran out of beer and glasses. Don't bother with food it's all microwave even if they have it

Food disgusting, and cold. My son had to wait an eternity for his ice cream to the point I had to go up and ask for it bearing in mind he had finished his food 20 minutes prior to his desert eventually coming. The bar man didn’t seem to care that the desert was late and I witnessed him grunting in response to a customer infront of me trying to crack a joke with him and then make a sarcy comment under his breathe. One senior male bar staff was very rude and completely disinterested. I asked for crayons to go with my sons menu and he told me there wasn’t any yet when my partner went up and asked someone else we got a whole tin. In terms of health and safety the server brought up the plates and put them in front of my two year old bearing in mind he is two and loves to grab everything in sight, luckily he didn’t this time. Went outside to the play area there is literally cigarette butts everywhere and empty beer cans and bottles in the crazy golf.

bar servers are rude and waste of time i would sack them all and get some good bar staff in ,as for food super slow and comes out cold .

First the good points. The food was very good for this type of restaurant and we were served after ordering for both dinner and breakfast within 20 to 30 mins. The service staff were also very friendly and helpful. Now for the downside. There is no ordering system. Most restaurants of this type have a separate food and drinks ordering points at the bar and a queuing system - not here. If you just want a drink then good luck as you will have to wait in line with those ordering food. At peak times at dinner the wait to order food can be as long as 30 mins. It was even worse than this when we went for a breakfast with only two members of staff taking orders. I asked a member of staff why they did not have separate food and drink ordering points and he did not know but thought it would be a good idea. The other thing slowing the breakfast ordering down was that the person serving you also had to go off and make your tea and coffee. There should be a dedicated member of staff filling these orders which would halve the waiting time. If we go back to this park I will not use the restaurant unless they do something to help cut down the waiting time. This is a shame because the food was actually very good.

Drinks ok not too expensive food ok not a massive range but ok. Not that quick but polite mainly had take aways

We were staying at Parkdean resort and thought would give the restaurant a go. We were warned when booking that there would be a 25min wait although the restaurant was not overly busy. In the event it was 1 hour, even after our chasing it....

No curry. No ale on draft. Food took 40 minutes to come. Last orders called at 10.00 am even though bar full. Asked for coffee before last orders but had switched machine off and begun cleaning it. Asked one member of staff how she was...

We had a great meal in here and I felt it was very reasonably priced. Service was good - chips came out cold so they brought hot replacements straight away. I would recommend this for someone staying at the park.

It's by no means rubbish with some decent food I enjoyed. A bit of a cock up today with the order being lost and then the steak being charcoaled to death when medium rare being asked for. Secondary steaks showed the chef doesn't know how...

If you don't want to cook and can't be bothered to go out for something then it's ok.nothing special but filling and reasonable prices with some midweek deals.don't expect to be wowed but it is convienient

This restaurant has a good selection of food and drinks, i enjoyed all the meals i have eaten here, only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because it takes a long time to receive the food, which is a shame.

Gran calidad de la comida y servicio, sin duda lo recomiendo! Quizás añadir algunos más tronas, pero eso es lo único bueno. El servicio es de distribución y la comida era deliciosa.

Algunos de comida bien pena la presentación no es práctico comer sin llevar, prefiero en un plato.

Nunca he tenido que masticar puré de patatas y salsa de antes, pero aquí yo. Mi compañero tenía tacos que eran dos envuelve con un poco de llenado. Personal no cuidado y no en la comida.

La comida bien, bebidas caras, personal muy atento y amable, buen menú, pero quizás más personal en las horas punta.

En la primera noche tuvimos una comida allí y fue genial, pero luego en la tarde del sábado pensamos en un postre pop que luego tomó media hora llegar! Decidimos desayunar antes de salir del parque, que era agradable, pero no muy caliente suficiente realmente inconsistente servicio y calidad

Well we have stayed a few times and have eat out here a few time never had a problem food has always been quick even with 7 of us eating always hot and tasty might be because we go of pack time, only thing they could do in there is make the soft play area a bit bigger for the kids :)

Very expensive with lack of choice and a 40 minute wait for food. The trouble is there is not a lot of choice around Camber for a decent meal.

Mike is such an amazing person who works so hard and never moans , he loves his job and is a very friendly member of staff

Two adults and one ten year old had dinner, which considering how busy it was the food and service was pretty good. Would eat there again

the food here is very tasty, good sized portions and is served with a smile. Very reasonably priced ! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, its good for couples, families or just for getting a light bite while watching the world go by.

Whilst staying at camber sands we decided to visit the restaurant just to eat out for my mums birthday. We had seen the menu so we knew what would be on offer before we decided to eat there. We were a table of 7 consisting of 3 children, 4 adults two of which have dietary requirements- my elderly grandmother requested to have batterless fish and no trimmings on her fish and chips and I have a gluten allergy so needed a gluten free meal. I spoke to the chef to see what was available for me and the chef did everything he could to check ingredients. Although I ended up going for the easy option of gluten free pasta with carbonara sauce it tasted amazing! Even the side salad was fresh and crunchy. I was actually quite surprised. Everyone enjoyed their meals. However the bar area was a bit sticky, bar top and floor which is why I haven't given 5 stars.

The restaurant is large, bright and airy with a bar, plenty of tables and chairs and comfy sofas for those not eating. The staff at the bar were very friendly and helpful and cheerfully took our order for breakfast. I cant remember the exact price but somewhere between 7 and 8 pounds, but without toast and tea or coffee maybe not the best value for money, i think for that price toast and drinks should be included. When it arrived it was a little on the cold side but when asked the waitress replaced it quickly and without any fuss. The restaurant also does what looked like an amazing carvery on a Sunday too. We returned later for our evening meal, there is a very good variety of dishes to choose from at a reasonable price and again the staff were lovely. All in all a very nice place to eat.

Our meal was pleasant, came out piping hot which is what you want when in a party of 5 and all eating different meals. Good kids menu too. Good selection for all ages, healthy to unhealthy depending on your mood.

What a lovely friendly and helpful staff work here. Great choice on the menu and all food was served hot! Especially enjoyed the cheese and potato pie.

Had a great wkend here. The guys in the bar (Jordan and Jamie) were a right laugh. Nice caravan not far from the beach, everything to hand. will be back.

The roast dinner on the Sunday looked fantastic, wish we had stayed for it but sadly we didn't, we sure will next time!

service slow, had none of the desserts that we requested, the only members of staff that seemed to be in a hurry and want to help were the 2 poor people serving the meals to the customers, bar staff very slow and uninterested.

Not very good food was still frozen very disappointing and the place was untidy need a good clean prices was not to bad .The bottle beer was warm not cold

The meals we had here whilst staying on the site were very very nice. The burger in a brioche bun with onion chutney was very tasty. You could tell the burger itself was good quality as no fat or water dripped out as you ate it. We also had breakfast which were good prices. The American pancakes, bacon and maple syrup was a lovely treat for breakfast.

Visited the Boathouse Restaurant during our stay at Camber Sands Caravan Park. The food was quite nice, reasonably priced, well presented & the staff were very happy & ready to help with anything we asked for or any problems we had.

Our breakfast came out stone cold. Bacon was so fatty I couldn't eat it. Staff not overly friendly. Last weeks carvery was also left on the floor under the carvery station. Expected more as I think it is overpriced for it is. Won't be returning at all whilst we are here. Worst breakfast I've ever had

Carvery on Sunday excellent. Breakfast must be Camber Sands best value for money at 2 for £7 and including coffee and toast. Lovely staff too. :)

we had 2 meals at the boat house whilst staying on the campsite the first one was on the Sunday. we had 7 of us and we had a variety of meals inc, pizza, burgers, sweat and sour chicken and all day breakfast. the meals were very good sized portions and nicely presented. we then had desserts of the salted caramel bananas. caramel apples, white choc and honeycomb cheese cake, sinful chocolate, sparkle ice cream and the peanut-butter jello dessert. ( we joked with the young lad about the song peanut butter jelly time lol ) they were all very good and quite large. we had a couple of drinks each including a slushy and it came to about £95 ( we had the 2 for £11 and 2 for £13 options) the Wednesday we went again and had lasagne, gammon , steak, burger, ham, egg and chips, and the chicken and ribs ( they were out of wings so had strips instead) again it was really nice, we then had desserts again but chose different ones this time. rocky road sundae, Neapolitan sundae, and different cheesecakes and ice creams. this time we ate later so offers were off and this time with drinks it was about £125 ish. again not too bad a price for 7. the staff were excellent and were keeping on top of the mess left at the tables and on the floors. thank you to all the staff who made the meals enjoyable and tasty.

Breakfast was very good value, we were all happy as a family of 5 :)Dinner was not so bad, they had many offers on food like 2 meals for £13.50 - which were good value for money.Staff were very polite, food arrived quickly and we were happy with our meals.

I ate in the restaurant once. The food portions were small, the food arrived hot. We ordered in 2 groups, 3 out of 4 meals came and it was a good 7 mins before the other one arrived. The other groups meals arrived shortly after. The staff were rushed off their feet. The menu wasn't that great,

firstly you have to find a clean table and then order. depending on what you order depends on the pricing. so be warned. also drinks are a right rip off 4.20 for pint of stella.

The food in the boathouse was great the kids loved it and the staff was so nice caring and helpful great place will defo come bk and eat again x

I ate here with my husband and 2 boys. The food was well cooked and presented and was a nice portion size. We had a sundae to finish and that was delicious! I felt it was all reasonably priced too. Our waitress Ingrid was fabulous. She was a real ray of sunshine and was so friendly, especially to the children.

The food is very expensive for what you get, the kids macaroni cheese for £5.30 would not have cost more than 20p to make. Chips come in little buckets but empty them out and you get about 12 chips. Not even a nice coffee to be had here.

This is the bar on the Park resorts site. Use it if you have to but a small drive will find you much nicer places to eat. Expensive as you have no where else to go if you travelled to the site by bus.

Overpriced, re heated processed food! My children were given meatballs and pasta which clearly came straight out of a tin and were microwaved. The portion sizes are small and were not cooked well. Toast was more like bread and butter. The wait time is ridiculous even when they are empty. Expect staff to forget to ask what table number you are at and then go around asking everyone if this is what they ordered while carrying your food around!! It really was awful, and unfortunately if your staying at park resorts, the only other place to eat is an even more terrible fish and chip shop so either way your screwed! Tips to improve: Fire the chef, update the menu and make the food good hearty meals which aren't processed microwaved foods! Avoid!!

We were staying on site at the caravan park where this is situated.as per my main review, my son and I had a beef burger which was ok,but my wife had chargrilled chicken burger, which was vey dry and which she did not finish. Did not eat in there again-not cheap but not expensive either-you got what you paid for.

Popped in for dinner on route to our holiday. Very clean. Reasonably priced and very quick service.Food was average price, but was very good.

We had dinner here 3 times, as we didn't want to cook, and couldn't find anywhere else to eat in camber sands.My partner had macaroni cheese and the portion was very small.Fish and chips was ok but had better.As I said it was convenient.

Food was nearly always cold and very little of it ,my cottage pie was two table spoons, the fish my party had was wafer thin, drinksvery expensive and breakfast served on cold plates therefore by the time it got to us it was cold

Lots on the menu to choose from whether you want a large or small meal. Clean and friendly restaurant.

Value for money tasty breakfast, great staff and service. Very speedy service clean enviroment. Just a shame they do not open earlier in the morming!

An amazing variety of food and very plentyful, the food os exceptionally cooked and very prompt service, would recommend this place to all users of Parks Resorts Camber Sands

We ate here after checking in at Park Resorts and having spent the day travelling. The restaurant was fairly busy, it was about 5pm. It took around 20mins queuing at the bar to order food and drinks, and the 45mins for our food to arrive! The food was very average - mainly microwaved or fried. I was not impressed with my sons kids meal of sausages, peas and potato smiley faces - it looked nothing like I might make at home, although he ate it. The restaurant was dirty - food all over the floor, tables and chairs sticky or covered in crumbs, and drinks spilt by the bar - I saw one man slip and nearly fall. Staff were ok, but just doing a job. We didn't eat here again throughout our stay.

did not like the prices,did not like the lack of choice on menu,a lot of the tables felt unstable,however the staff were friendly and helpful

The food is bland and over-priced. The bar staff and waitresses and very slow and unprofessional. The food takes ages atleast 30-45 mins even when not busy. Dirty floors. Tables get left with dirty plates and glasses for ages because they are short staffed. Sunday carvery looked ranked. Park Resorts need to invest heavily in this dump.
