British Kitchen in Rother

Really lovely location on the beach. Abit difficult to find. You go threw a tunnel to get to the stoney beach. Lovely young lady was very pleasant. Lovely views. Food was nice and coffee. Good service.

Christmas Day lunch, and it was superb, we couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our special meal. Greeted with a big smile by the manager, and the same greeting at the bar from Ryan (or was it Kieran?) , who went out of his way to get my drink just how I like it, excellent service from him, because when ordering again from our table he got it spot on from memory, via our lovely waitress Sianan (sp could be different, sorry!) She looked after us so well. The ambience, the attention, the food, not to mention the service with a smile from all the staff, made our day magical, no complaints from us, thank you. Will be returning again and again.

My wife and I both had a meal here. The food was hot, tasty, well cooked and good value. Staff were cheerful and helpful. However I do not understand how manager can allow member of kitchen staff to sit at table in bar area watching social media on mobile phone with volume turned up ! That was the downside for us

It's still the same . Bitter is hit and miss , and it could taste better most of the time. Staff seem stressed or not, that friendly , Charlie is nice but could be more chilled. The lady with black hair could be more friendly and crack a smile when you come in. The boss needs to lead from the front and be friendly and happy.

This was simply the best Sunday lunch I have ever had, and I have had a lot all over the country. Plus the staff were super welcoming and funny. I don’t live in the area but my friend does and will be coming back for more. Fantastic!
