Blu’s Cocktail & Wine Bar in Mendip

Had a delicious Fathers Day family Sunday lunch in lovely surroundings. The Sunday lunch was gorgeous and the boys had deserts which looked really good. Cocktails are the best in County Durham. Worth a visit just for a drink. The staff were great and kept coming over asking if we wanted more drinks, extra gravy or sauces. We couldn’t fault them. Cannot understand the negative reviews as we have always had first class service, amazing food and drinks. Would definitely recommend and I am hard to please. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Awful atmosphere, feels very unwelcoming, food needs improving, the list goes on! Crumbs on the seats everywhere, food on the floor, won’t be coming back!

Dropped in with family for cocktails. Great choice and reasonable prices. We tried quite a few different ones and they were all lovely and could actually taste the alcohol on them.

Hi been this morning with friends.my friend got fruit scone why do you serve them pipping hot then when you try to cut it to put jam and cream on it just falls apart. only thing we could think of was they are out of freezer and got to heat them .waste of money and she told waitress she didn't enjoy it but no joy.its a shame as we like coming here

This is now our 'go-to' in crook for a coffee (or glass of wine). Great interior and lovely staff. Never had a bad time here and great value for money.
