Wow! Hey, is this a cafe you should visit. Yes, of course you should. For once a comfortable, delightful, friendly cafe. Where time is on your side. I was passing by, and the rain said, "Stop here and dry out for a while." Relax, take it easy, no hurry, drink a coffee, and soak up the atmosphere.

I went recently along with my friend whom I was meeting after 6 years . It was extremely busy and I felt coffee temperature could have been more hotter . Barista and gentleman were v Gracious and he personally brought coffee on our table . Customer service is top notch and myself being around the world I highly recommend this place for an excellent coffee and friendliness of service . Gentleman is v professional and a great host who was welcoming everyone with a smile and care . I will always go there to enjoy my coffee .

I had a very bad experience in this location. The staff working here behaved aggressively towards me and I felt in danger. The tall man with hat ( the barista man) was very angry and nervous because I asked where the toilets are and for that of course I agreed to buy anything just to leave me to use it. I mean , we are in 2021 and everyone knows is nothing for free :)) and whoever's you are , you can explain nicely and calmly what I can do to get this service . But this man started yelling at me without listening to me that I understood the local politics and that I agree with it. He repeated himself, shouting this very loudly, being very confused and without lucidity. I don't know how tired he was but he seemed more drugged or under the influence of alcohol. The coffee I paid for 2, 90 £ was made very badly and in a hurry. It was put to be take away without being asked if I want to stay and drink in location . I basically felt banished !!!! A totally unprofessional and stupid attitude !! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION , IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS AND ALSO BECAUSE IT OFFERS VERY BAD QUALITY SERVICES !!!!

My new go to coffee shop in Elephant & Castle since it moved into the Arcade. The new spot has nice big windows and plenty of space to social distance. The staff is friendly and helpful, and Mr. Cowboy Coffee is a super guy! The coffee is consistently excellent, and I’ve bought beans to take home on occasion.

This is by far the best coffee shop in London. It has incredible coffee, an amazing staff, a vibrant atmosphere and great prices! I try to work here as much as I can and I make sure to pick up a coffee multiple times a week because the staff just brightens my day! Cannot recommend this place enough!

A friend recommended trying this guy's coffee. He has three different types of beans so I went for the strong stuff (it's been a long week!) and it was really nice. I have quite a sweet tooth so sometimes find strong coffee too bitter, but this was lovely. The owner was really friendly and introduced himself too, he's called John and is a really nice guy! He's currently got a black trailer-type set up which is pretty cool looking and is apparently opening a permanent place over the road soon. I'll definitely be back for more (I spotted a 'peanut butter cappuccino' on the cold drinks menu, and I need to get my hands on one of those!)

I was attracted to this man's surreal coffee van as it was decorated with so many odd trinkets. It reminded me of American Outsider Art. There had to be humour and particularity in it. The owner is a very amicable person who makes time to chat with all people when he can. He has created a special atmosphere here where all the people drinking coffee end up talking with each other. He also serves hot chocolate. He can tell many tales about his former life as a truck driver in the USA. He told me the history of the first cowboys who were black cattle herders. They were called boys, but they were men. It is only Hollywood who have whited that out. I look forward to seeing his indoor café in the near future. I'm sure it will be decorated in a very cool style hopefully similar to his food truck.

So many good reviews about this guy who was extremely rude , Let me explain what happened, i was not planning on buying a coffee, i was using his chair to but some stuff in my bag, as i was doing so he started speaking to me asking me if i wanted a coffee i said OK you seem like a nice guy ill have a cappuccino, he then became very hostile towards me and told me, Do not buy a coffee because im a nice guy dont patronise me, do you want a coffee or not, i then replied, no not now and how are you telling me im being patronising, i was actually being polite buying a coffee after i used your chair to load my bag and i probably would have really enjoyed a coffee that day, when i questioned him about his rude and unpleasant attitude towards me after i was extremely polite, he then tells me im being condescending and starts telling me how he has a university degree, Wow so this guy must be making so much money he feels to good to just say thank you and be polite back to someone who was being polite to him, Their are people out there like this cowboy guy who has no common sense, So you have a university degree like you told me, yet you make coffee for a living you have no manors, you a uncivilised ungrateful with a university degree and you make coffee for a living and wear a dirty cowboy hate, and think your to good to take money from someone who was going to buy a coffee because you asked me and i said OK you seem like a nice guy ill have a cappuccino, how wrong was i to say such a thing about you, im actually great full i found out what an ignorant barbarian you really are, i can promise you with your attitude towards some members of the public, you will not succeed and you will be forever poor, you may wish to humble yourself in life, I ended up walking away from this idiot. Do not think to tell me you have a university degree makes you look intelligent, You make coffee for a living, you have no communication skills. and you were disrespectful

Having the best coffee ever in a small privatly corner within the busy streets of London. The owner is a very nice man with a very nice smile. And a interesting biography of his life. He needs our help to survive this nice coffee ☕️. The prices are very cheap for this good coffee. We will come back again.

The premises are being refurbished, and a sign says that it is soon to re-open under another name. Hopefully it'll be as good as Gracelands was! I don't know if it'll be the same people running it...

Have recently moved to Nunhead and this is the 4th time I have been in here each time hoping for an improvement in staff attitude. The staff particularly the dark haired boy are unfriendly to the point of rudeness, they seem very good at chatting among themselves and to their trendy mates but can barely be bothered to serve me or make my coffee. I am middle aged but went onto a super trendy coffee place in Brick Lane at the weekend and the young fashionable staff were friendly, smiley and helpful. The same in East Dulwich. I am sorry as I would've been into this cafe daily if it had felt ,ore welcoming.
