Birdies Coffee House and Bar in Waverley

Lovely old English pub with roaring log fire. Dog friendly. Good range of beers and great menu.

Food was great, a bit pricey.. 2 Fish and chips with 2 0% Heinekens bottles costed £50

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch here. The atmosphere and furnishings are lovely and the staff were friendly, efficient and polite. Had the Sunday roast with extra cauliflower cheese, the menu had a good variety of choices and prices although slightly on high side compared to a normal Pub, were justified by the meal we had. We were travelling to Kent from Dorset and had a stopover for lunch in Farnham which proved to be a great choice.

I ordered a steak today and it was amazing and tender! I was able to meet the chef Charlie I think it was? Luckily was able to catch her as she went to the talk to the bar staff. And was able to pull her to one side where she told me she was the grill chef. Of which I told her that it was the best steak I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing food!
