We had the "all you can eat mussels". 3 different sauces available. I especially liked the Asian one - a bit like Thai curry but not as hot. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service as always

Had lunch today with the wife for the first time. Food was very fresh and tasted lovely, especially the soft shelled crab and the monkfish taco. Would've ordered more if we had more time to spare. Only shame was we came to try the Sardines amd Oysters but were unavailable.

Went last night and really disappointed. Service was good but food really let the place down. Picked a selection of dishes and every one was bland and needed seasoning. Won't be going back

Wonderful evening. Took the wife for her birthday. Best to book as was full up. Menu was good and suited to the size of the resturant. Service was excellent, just the right amount of 'looking after us' without asking how the food is during the 1st mouthfull! Nice selection of drinks, really good food. Would recomend

Last weekend when woke Monday visited here for a quick freshen up and a couple of first morning drinks A takeaway cup of tea and coffee £5.00 a little abit more expensive than we would typically pay but did freshen up in the facilties. Would come and back to order food in better circumstances Lovely calm environment on the sea front food looked beautiful presented to a high quality. Visible cooking kitchen from the promenade walkway.

We had a table of four. Sadly, all of us got very sick after the dinner. High suspicion of unclean food and preparation. All dishes are small but expensive.

Second time here, had the best Moules Mariniere and crisp frites,I have ever had. Friendly relaxed atmosphere in a casual beach kiosk, great cooking. Sea views and most important dog friendly.Recommended.

Food was so so so delicious. The only criticism I have is that we only received one hand bowl where all the other tables got one each.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We held our wedding reception here, we wanted a small reception,with a very relaxed atmosphere and Billy Hundreds was perfect. Incredible Staff ✅️ Incredible Food ✅️ 360 on the beach views ✅️ Staff made our wedding vision come true and could not do enough for us - before, during and after the wedding reception. We are regulars at Billy Hundreds for breakfast and Tapas dinners! Thank you guys! X

There are not many places in Southend where a view can be so enamouring, a vibe so resplendent, and yet the food will be the thing you’re still talking about when you leave. The food is excellent and beautifully served. There is not a dish I wouldn’t recommend, the speed of the service and the quality of the service is incomparable. It truly is a delightful experience from start to end. And who’d want it to end! I’m always looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely food. A bit pricy for the portion sizes but very enjoyable.

This was the second time here and it didn’t disappoint. Fish tapas, sangria and a great view out at sea, where can you go wrong. The bang bang Hake was a fave as well as the orange prawns.

In spite of the terrible weather, the meal was very good. Made to feel very welcome, and blankets were provided to help keep diners warm.

This was a perfect place to dine on a scorching Saturday in May. A cool atmosphere overlooking the beach, fresh and delicious food, and a friendly service. The tapas menu had a wide range of choices with bold flavours and generous portions. The patatas bravas were the most moreish. The desserts were exceptional, especially the churros. Strongly recommend a reservation as it was booked up a couple of weeks ahead.

Me and my girlfriend came here to have some tapas dinner before watching the fireworks later on, and it was delicious! Really recommend the chorizo in cider it was lovely! Overall really enjoyed and thankyou to the girls for squeezing us in as walk-ins! 😊

Very lovely experience, the servers were very nice, they made sure our table was clean, which was very nice, don't see that happening often! The food was delicious, i had cod and chips and some other small dishes. At this place i also tried crab and squid for the first time, it was lovely! I can't believe how nice the food was, really recommend! This is by far one of my favourite restaurants!

Delicious dinner at Billy 100s last week. We thoroughly enjoyed working our way through the menu, specifically all of the fish tapas; bang bang hake was ordered twice. Meatballs were devoured and you can never have too much patatas bravas. Service was fun and efficient and the team in the kitchen kept it all coming promptly. We Will Return!!

The food really was outstanding. Sardines/potatoes/cajun chicken/salmon and bread with oils.

Popped in for a pre dinner drink and to look at the menu ect as we had never been there before. Although it was really full with dinners the staff were very welcoming and happy for us to just have a quick drink, Place was lively, buzzing and food looked really good. We will have a proper meal next time when we visit southend.

Don't be put off by the slightly oddball name and down at heel exterior facing the Eastern Esplanade. This was a truly memorable experience of tapas with a difference, well priced and served in a very friendly way by James. It helped that we were basking in October sunshine too so we felt we were lunching by the Mediterranean but only 1 hr from our home in Kent !

Having failed to get a gluten-free meal at another local restaurant, this was the complete opposite. Served my wife a fabulous dish of pan-fried sea bass on spinach with fried potatoes and grilled tomatoes - and all gluten free. Service couldn't have been better. Definitely recommended.

Surprisingly good! Was going to go Ocean Beach bur managed to get seated here. The Cod and Chips was very good. Large portion! My friend had the sea bass which looked terrific! Yes defo recommend here. Uninterrupted sea views - eat literally on the beach, or sheltered inside. Price wise my cod and chips was approx £16.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Billy Hundreds. It helped that the weather was great and we had a seat right on the beach. The food was great, service was too. Great choice on the menu and nice that it’s not just tapas but a few main courses too.

Went to the venue for a wedding reception. The location was great, right on the seafront. There was a nice wide selection of drink, the food was delicious and the staff very nice and accommodating

Food nice but very disappointed that table of 4 - one person ill had to cancel so called and eventually got through on the day advising now 3 people. They have charged me £10 cancellation. I would understand if 2 or more as they could have maybe moved but 3 on a 4 table would make no difference. Wont be returning!

Visited after reading reviews on tripadviser. We went to suss it out during the day before deciding to go for an evening meal. My husband was not too enthusiastic looking at the place but I reminded him that we have had some fantastic meals in far worse looking places on the beach in spain so he agreed to try it. Pleased we did. The service was great, good product knowledge by the staff and very pleasant. The small tapas size portions made it nice to taste a few different dishes and the whole baby squid was as good as I have had anywhere. All the food was very good apart from the breaded cauliflower which did just not work for me.

Love everything about this place. Bang bang hake was probably our favourite but all delicious. Save room for churros!

Visited SEOS today and decided to have a late lunch at Billy Hundreds Fish n Tapas and we’re so glad we did. This place really is a gem. Everything was just right. Food is great, staff is super friendly and atmosphere is delightful. Looking forward to going back very soon. Thank you!

Two Sundays in a row we have visited Billy Hundreds and it is quickly becoming our favourite spot in Southend. The location is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful (we had an issue with an online booking today but after calling to see if they could fit us in they still managed to provide us with a table) and the food is absolutely wonderful. Soft shell crab is delicious, monkfish tacos are great and the bang bang hake is quite possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten! We love it here and can't wait to visit for breakfast and return for more delicious tapas in the near future. Side note: white wine sangria is something special!

Reminded me of a chiringuito in Spain as juts out onto the beach! Lovely sunny hot day sat outside just in the shade. Had 4 tapas dishes all delicious and surprisingly filling. Staff attentive and friendly. We were the last late lunchers 3.40pm but they didn’t rush us even though they were reopening at 6 and fully booked. Lovely experience

What an amazing find, and experience!! The setting is fantastic, we got lucky as it had been a hot sunny day, the roof was was open, the windows overlooking the beach where open and really set the atmosphere. You could almost belive you weren't in Essex. The food was excellent, small tapas portions, perfectly cooked and presented, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended, you need to book in advance and pre order some of the dishes you require. Makes service quicker on the day.

This is a lovely spot to stop for lunch, situated right on Southend seafront. Menu has plenty of choices and allergens are marked up. I require a Gluten-free meal, and ordered the king prawns shown as GF. Bit disappointed to find out that the meal that should come with bread was made GF by leaving the bread off. Not quite what I thought, maybe they could keep some GF bread on hand, maybe in freezer. I also had the tortilla. My wife had aioli mushrooms alongside bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. All the meals were delicious. Our server, Poppy, was warm, friendly and dealt extremely well with a busy service. Well worth another visit. Prices not too bad. Our meals, along with 2 Florida oranges came to just under £29.

The food was delicious. Little bit chaotic and a few mix ups with the orders. Bit disappointed that I wasn't told about the specials. As I would have ordered all of them. But I was happy with the food 👍

Came for breakfast this morning, amazing food and service, it was so good we booked a table for this evening asking the waitress for a specific table , she said that wouldn't be a problem ,got there at 7 like planned to find people sitting at the table , was offered another table but that's what not where we wanted too sit , shame , won't be back

12 of us, including 4 young children, came for our first visit to Billy Hundreds. We had an excellent 5* lunch and all really enjoyed the extensive tapas menu. This place is right on the beach with great food and lovely views. We will be back very soon.

What a fabulous place for a delicious tapas meal, right on the beach. There's a good variety of dishes on the menu and each one that I tried was full of flavour. It was very popular when I visited on a Friday lunchtime, so I'd recommend booking in advance, if you want to be sure of seat. It was a bit pricey, but I would visit again.

Some of the best food I have ever had in Southend. Freshly cooked and beautifully flavoured, the Monkfish tacos were outstanding.

The food is incredible, the service was fast and the cocktails very nice! Every tapas plate has a distinct and punchy flavour as well as going together well. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is a small beachfront restaurant with plastic chairs and a compact size. If you don't expect the Ritz, and understand having a few small plates is for sharing and/or building a meal you will be better prepared. Bang bang hake and patatas bravas were highlights, as well as the chorizo and manchego bites.
