Awesome Xmas meal here with our group. We had an awesome meal. Music and a great atmosphere. 5 stars.

Went for a Sunday roast and the service was excellent . The staff were really good with the kids food order and the roast beef and roast lamb was the best roast dinners we’ve had in a long time!! The atmosphere felt calm with the guitarist playing in the background was very good. Will definately be returning . Thank you.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch here. The staff are so friendly, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and there was a fantastic guitarist (Colm) who really added to the chilled and relaxing vibe. We had a baby with us who was so relaxed she slept the entire time! Roast dinner also excellent. Would highly recommend.

Great local find!! Easy to book, great service and delicious food. We enjoyed afternoon tea for two and i’m always slightly reluctant with how a tea can be when you haven’t been before. Well worry not! Quality bread, tasty fillings, warm scones (have to be warm right?) and delicious cakes. It was a delight and the service was excellent. Highly recommend and parking nearby was nice and easy too. Perfect for couples, families and groups of friends too.

Fantastic food. Really great friendly staff. And price wise it really doesn't break the bank! I have tried various starters, main courses and deserts now and I have not found a single dish the kitchen team have done a bad job with yet! And empty plates all around the table every time! Blink and you might drive past it...but you really shouldn't, you will really be missing out! Not to be missed!

I recently enjoyed a delicious lunch here with my family. Sea bass followed by salted caramel cheesecake. Everything was beautifully cooked and well presented, good sized portions too. Great service. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, a really lovely place to eat! Thank you

These guys deliver quality service and food everytime. We ve had lunch here and tonight they hosted my family in the private dining room. Without exception every course and every choice was thoroughly enjoyed. Despite a busy restaurant the service was courteous, efficient and accommodating. One of the best meals out we ve had for some time.

When to Eden last night with family and wow. Great atmosphere, great food, I had chicken curry, lovely. Sticky toffee was a little too sweet for me but the sponge and custard was amazing. friendly staff. Gorgeous decor. Easy parking. Will definitely come one day to try the breakfast. My daughter gifted her stepdad an afternoon tea (groupon voucher). We were very disappointed and pleased that we didn’t have to pay for it. There was no smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel as advertised on there menu, the sausage rolls were an afterthought, just two little cocktail ones. Have had much better locally for cheaper, with better selection.

Went for a first visit using a Groupon deal. Had the 3 course set menu. Good choice - meat, fish and vegetarian. Not too busy in the restaurant so good service. Food well presented and portions just right. Will go back.

Late review from January 2024. Positives - many! Such a neat little venue. Love the decor. Enjoyed the visit. . Food presented well, cutlery, crockery and serving dishes all appealing. Everything was clean. Displays all very attractive. Service was good although waiter was unable to answer our questions regarding the menu. But he went and asked in the kitchen for us and provided answers Negatives. - sadly, food very under seasoned, menu description promised more than the taste-buds received. 1 chicken fajita , very sloppy & wet, had to ask for more tortillas as they were small saucer size 1 creamy lobster tagliatelle in a chilli and tomato sauce - i think i found about 6 very small pieces and that's me being optimistic, no real depth of flavour, would not order this again. Planning on a return visit to sample the breakfast menu in hope it was just a one off, low seasoning day and that our first experience will not be repeated. watch this space!

Even though they were very busy the service was efficient and attentive. Food was delicious and nicely presented. Guitarist playing in the background was a lovely experience.

Lovely small restaurant. Decor was very trendy and well decorated. Food was lovely when it finally came. My only criticisms are we waited nearly an hour for drinks and starters. The restaurant was pretty empty so if it was busy not sure they could cope. If this issue is sorted think it would be pretty good.

One of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had in a restaurant! Wonderful food, friendly service - and a great "private" room, not requested but offered as we were a fairly large family group with three young children.

This restaurant needs to clearly display on their website that afternoon tea requires a booking via call. Booked a table as shown on website but upon arrival was told I could not have the afternoon tea as I did not call. Instead got some breakfast so it wasn’t a wasted journey and that was OK at best. Very disappointing experience.

I have to say, I haven't had a fry up in a few years, this was very good. Thanks.

I'd booked a table for 6 on the website. When we arrived they hadn't received the booking and had no idea we were coming. Luckily they had a table for us and the staff were good and made us welcome. 4 out of 6 of us ordered the halibut which was the most expensive thing on the menu at £26. The size of the fish portion was ridiculously small. I honestly believe they only had 2 portions available and shared them between 4 of us. My husband and I left feeling hungry enough to go home and have some cheese and biscuits. I'd heard good things but was so disappointed.

Nice atmosphere, staff, food. It took a while for food to arrive after we ordered, but we were happy to take our time. Would certainly go again. They allow small dogs during the day - which is a bonus as so many places don’t.

I went for afternoon tea with two friends. The atmosphere was perfect and calm, ideal for a catch up with friends. The afternoon tea didn't disappoint. A nice selection and good amount. My friend is vegetarian and was well catered for. Lovely, unique, décor. Fantastic mocktails (also available as cocktails). The mocktail I chose was a real party piece with a bubble on top! You have to experience it, my words won't do it justice! We had a really nice, relaxing afternoon at From Eden and would heavily recommend based on this sole visit. I hope to visit again soon.

Just spent such a lovely Sunday afternoon here with friends. The back room where we were seated is so pretty and the food was superb.

Took the Wife and some friends to the Restaurant on the recent Tapas evening. There was a very good Gypsy Kings style Guitarist singer providing the entertainment and everyone was impressed. The Food was incredibly flavoursome, very authentic and very generous and each Tapas dish could easily pass as a full main course. The service was promptly undertaken with both a smile and eager consideration for the guests. The Cocktails were brilliant and some were met with cheers and applause at other tables. A stand out wonderful evening enjoyed by all the patrons.

Not great I'm afraid. No atmosphere. Timid wait staff who seemed surprised why we were entering the premises! Partner's chicken starter was served pink. They took this off the final bill but nobody bothered to tell us this meaning we spent the main course stewing whether to complain again or not. Wait staff have no confidence which I sympathise with but probably this isn't the job for you, sorry I love to support independent restaurants like this but afraid this just wasn't very good. Also only two tables booked on what presumably should be a busy Saturday night, which tells its own story. My lobster and prawn starter was ok, hence the two stars for food. No idea where the glowing reviews come from. Perhaps we were just unlucky but the empty dining room I feel told it's own story.

This is a lovely, cosy little cafe with nice decor. My friend and I had the sunday roast dinner(pork and lamb) and agreed that it was exceptionally tasty! There was also a man playing a variety of tunes on a guitar which added a nice relaxing atmosphere. We will be back!

Really lovely place, all of us had a great brunch, both times we went. We liked it so much the first time, we went back shortly after with others.

Went to celebrate a friends 100th Birthday. Had to wait quite a while to be served. Had the breakfast which was OK, but the poached eggs which were perfectly cooked were freezing and I didn't feel I had time to wait to get hot eggs as we had to wait soo long for the food to arrive. A shame.

Small bistro feel small friendly atmosphere the four of us had starters main meal and afters everything was superb and the roast dinner was fantastic best meal out we have had for ages

Always loved this place. Came here recently for a Sunday roast, delicious! Portions of vegetables could be bigger and more staff on a Sunday (quite a long waiting time) and make sure you have a good stock of wine. Quite a lot wasn’t available.

Whilst We had a takeaway when plated at home I can say it was of as high a quality as From Eden manage for dine-ins. How the kitchen produces such exceptional roasts I do not know, but I do know this, we want more and more…

Delicious! Was hot. Belly of pork for 2. Each had 4 roasties. Large Yorkie. Cabbage carrots and broccoli. Cauliflower cheese as an xtra. Very tasty. Will definitely use again. Hubble would have liked more meat!

Our first visit and were definitely be back! We had the sharing Seafood Platter and it was amazing! Service was fab too! The only thing it lacked was atmosphere. It was very quiet for a Friday but have been advised they have events and live entertainment other nights and the afternoon tea looks amazing so will be back to try it all out! Highly recommended 👌

I love Eden Restaurant. Superb food and staff. Can’t stop recommending it to all my friends. Quality food at affordable prices. This picture is from yesterday, Eggs royal, and if you think you can’t be wrong making them, yes you can! At Eden they cook the eggs and the beacon impressively splendid. Delicious.

First time there. Nice relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff. On Friday evening , we were surprised by a live acoustic guitar player singing really relaxing songs! Really helped to relax you. I have the beef wellington starter which was good and my wife had the chilli and Garlic prawns ,.which was done perfectly. I had the Sirloin steak which was done perfectly and my wife had the halibut. The long beans was a bit limp and the Lyonnaise potato was a bit wet. But otherwise it was a pleasant evening and the music was an added plus!

Went to From Eden with the girls, Alex our server was lovely and makes great cocktails! They were really accommodating and nothing was too much of a trouble. The food was amazing especially the arachnini as were the cocktails. My favourite is their pina colada. 10/10 would recommend!! The decor was quirky and cute and all in all was very clean.

Wasn't impressed...family Sunday lunch. Roast potatoes were horrible. Worse than an aunt Bessie.. dry and barely warm. I had the hake which was dry and tasteless. Had to repeatedly ask for drinks. Staff never asked and never cleared the table of empty glasses and bottles. Had to ask for cutlery as wasn't replaced after starters. No salt and pepper on table. Won't be back

Excellent vibe, superb service and faultless food. My 68 year old Mother said it's the best roast dinner she has ever had. Which has caused a little bit of friction with my Mrs who will maintain hers is better until she dies. No comment.

Went for afternoon tea. I loved it but kids said sandwiches had bread that was too thick. Cakes and sausage rolls were excellent.

We came to the restaurant based on reviews, it did not disappoint! We had a Lamb Roast here, which was amazing! The staff were so lovely and attentive and great with allergens. The live music was great for the setting - perfect for a relaxing Sunday roast. We would make this a regular spot if we lived closer! Hope to visit again soon when we’re in the area.

Lovely welcome....however...15mins for coffee to be served....nearly an hour for food to be served...chelsea bun so bad had to be sent back.Other customers walked out...saying they couldn't wait any longer.Has potential...not good enough.

We went yesterday for my birthday meal out. The lady who served us gave next level service. She had dark hair tide up at the back. We didn't get her name. The food itself was amazing too!! We will be back.

This is very quickly becoming my venue of choice as it meets every expectation in food, service and ambiance. Took my wife to the restaurant last evening for a Valentine's dinner and the menu was superb. The restaurant was fully booked and the owners had put on a very competent singer/musician to add to the romantic atmosphere. My three course meal, selected from numerous menu options, was wonderfully presented and it was a bonus to see the Chef and applaud him when he emerged from the kitchen late in the evening to take a bow. As always the waiting staff were diligent and efficient and a very fine evening was enjoyed by everone.

Five star absolutely brilliant just arrived back from overseas fancied a full English. The portion size is for English quality of every ingredient was spot-on guarantee are use of a game within the week. Appreciate your service

Food was nice but deceiving menu. They sell the chocolate mousse as ‘served with raspberries’ when there is literally just one raspberry on top while they somehow forget to mention that most of the food in the fish platter is deep fried. And ‘Avocado salad’ had 3/4 pieces of avocado at most. Also very slow service.

Disappointing. We were turned away today as they had one table of about 12 people and couldn’t cope with anymore customers despite there being many free tables. They should have closed the door and put a sign up.

Good decor however drinks and food took ages, were average and expensive for what we had eg 2 hot drinks and 2 bacon sandwiches for £18.50

Went for Christmas afternoon tea, set menu £22.00 each, selection of sandwiches, cakes etc, endless tea, excellent value, so much to each , hardly had enough room to finish, lovely staff, would definitely be visiting in the future 😀

I visited with a friend midweek for breakfast and the restaurant was very quiet with only 1 other table of 4 adults seated. Despite being very quiet we waited for at least 40mins for 2 vegetarian breakfasts to be cooked? Quite puzzling why it tool...

Good service but 1 hash brown short

Booking for my partners birthday. Checked menu online which we liked so made a booking. Arrived to be handed the "xmas" menu (ie extra £20 for the word xmas) to order from. Had to then spend several minutes convincing member of staff that there was no mention of this completely different and more expensive xmas menu online. We decided to leave and it was only then that we were offered to choose from the online menu. Staff seemed more interested im chatting and laughing amonst themselves at the till \ bar. Fajitas I ordered were swimming in grease and just plain awful. I really cannot recommend.

Was taken here for afternoon tea for my birthday and didn't have a very good experience. I am gluten free and was advised i would be catered for the tea came out looking beautiful however taking a bite into my sandwich the bread was stale dry and frozen in places. The cakes were only ok and the scone literally crumbled cut open very disappointing 😞 since eating here i have been very unwell so glutened. Avoid if u have dietary requirements, the non gluten free afternoon tea was nut free and had nuts on the plate

New to the area and this is a little gem to find. Our brunch was cooked perfectly and the service was very friendly and efficient. We didn't know the previous owner, so perhaps coming to it with an open mind helps. The food was good...

I know the food would have been lovely if only it was warm. I understand that being delivered it wouldn’t be as hot as having it at the restaurant but the whole breakfast was cold and bacon hard where it was so cold.
