This place had been recommended to us by a couple of work colleagues, I'd never heard of it before. We booked some time in advance to ensure that we had a table booked (something I picked up from some reviews) and as such could also book in to the play barn. There were 5 of us in total including 2 kids. A slight negative here, the play barn was £3 per child for an hour but aside from the child tractors which you could go around in a track there was lots of hay / slides and ropes hanging from the ceiling. I don't feel that the play barn was necessarily any better than the outdoor play area which was totally free. The kids did prefer the play barn to be fair which is the main thing. Once we'd finished up with the play barn we went to the diner itself where I had pre-planned the food I wanted. We went to the till to pay for it and there was a sizable queue which went down pretty quickly and the guys at the till were nice and friendly and told us where we could find everything we needed. Our drinks arrived first, I ordered the black cherry milkshake. This was absolutely epic and HIGHLY recommended and pretty shortly thereafter 2 people came across with our food, again in terms of friendliness I think people were really nice. The quality of the food was brilliant, for the kids and for the adults. I had the chicken burger and the quality was absolutely top notch. Indeed the only thing I can say about the food is that it was so filling and I couldn't manage a dessert!

Fun place for adults and children. Food was great and so much American Diner Choice. Yes its not the cheapest but why should it be food and drinks very tastey with massive menu , service was very good . My little one loved the playpark etc. I thought the spicy wings were amazing. Only wished I'd requested the bus to dine in. Its that popular you may need to book!

We loved it! Fab food, drinks and choices. We dined in the side for children and it is quite noisey and packed in but we still enjoyed it. We later sat outside for coffee and icecream while the kids enjoyed the play area. The ease of ordering on the app is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return

Wouldn’t let our son and niece in the play barn because weren’t diners despite the fact that we had just spent £20 on milk shakes and ice creams! They were very disappointed. What a ridiculous rule!

Amazing concept, amazing food, just wish this place was closer as we would be there all the time. Love the American theme, philly cheese steaks, smash burgers, authentic mac n cheese and probably the best milk shakes going. Always like to try new things, can't say I was a fan of the root beer but the sour cherry soda was bang on. Personally I don't think the pricing is bad at all for the quality and amount you get. Fries etc don't come included with a burger for example but I would say the price of the burger is adjusted for this and comparable to what you would pay in a decent pub or restaurant. People complaining about not being able to drink own food and drinks, it is clearly stated online and throughout the venue that this is not allowed. I fully understand this as this place is so busy I would want to maximise paying customers rather than people who want to sit, spend as little as possible and take advantage of the great free childrens play areas. Book in advance and download the app, makes it much quicker to order and we used the app to order inside for eating and outside for drinks when the kids went out to play.

The staff are always really lovely here. We enjoy the breakfasts (especially the Rancher's Eggs), and sit in the quieter adults only section. Recommend especially at quieter times.

This place is absolutely amazing. The American style diner is just fabulous. So much fun inside from the menu to looking around the place. Our food was delicious and the kids portions were perfect sizes. Was really happy to see gluten free and vegan options on the menu as we can happily bring along more members of our family. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and so polite. We went on Father’s Day, pre booked for 130pm and it was a lovely time to go. Buzzing but not too crazy. All four of us finished every single bit of everything we ordered (see pics). The children loved the free play outside too. We later decided to let the kids go play in the play barns. This was an extra cost, which wasn’t very clear in what we were told in the diner. However, we paid it and the kids had a great time there. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is I think in the play barn, someone needs to keep an eye on the bags for the children for coming down the slides as some of them were completely soaked through. Some bags were also broken and not safe for the kids to go down if the child was on their own. Also I do feel when we’ve spent so much on dining inside the restaurant then we shouldn’t have to pay extra for the play barn, and then to only get an hour in there too. Other than that fantastic. We will definitely return for another great afternoon. Thank you!

Travelled to Skipton to eat here after seeing it recommended on Tik Tok and it did not disappoint. Great portions and very filling, yummy food! Didn’t experience the full restaurant as we arrived close to closing time after some of the local roads were shut but the decor and theme is amazing, perfect for anyone looking for a unique place to eat. Can’t wait to go back and experience all Billy Bobs has to offer!

Was here today with the lovely Ursula and our grandchildren. I would give it ten stars if I could. What a place! If you like American 50s theme, this is it! The food is great, the service is great, the whole darn thing is great! We were served by the fantastic Marice (pardon my spelling) who went over and above to look after us. Absolutely 100% recommended!

I'm quite shocked by some of the reviews I've read on here, having been over 10+ times and have never had a bad experience or a bad day! We live 45 minutes - 1 hour away and feel it is worth the drive. Billy Bob's is a really good day out for the whole family, we came yesterday and the kids really enjoyed themselves, as did we. It's great outside on a sunny day, but there's also no problem going on a wet or windy day as the play barns are weather proof. We usually have dinner when we come to use the park and play barns and every meal has always been delicious and just what you'd expect at an American Diner. Good food and a good playing area makes for a happy family. The selection of American drinks and ice-creams are incredible!! We've loved every visit we've had here and will keep coming for many years to come!

This is such a unique place! As much as we loved eating here exploring the diner was just as good. It’s American diner style food, large portions and cooked fresh. What I particularly liked about Billy bobs is the self service element, so you download an app or go to the counter order and pay, and everything was then brought out really quickly! They have a delicious pickles tray which is help yourself as well. The atmosphere was great and afterwards we did the playground and play barn. Will def be back.

Overall really liked the place but just a little let down by my main course. Went for the club sandwich and the bread was really dry. I did mention to the waitress but she didn’t offer to replace. Rest of our meal was fabulous and milkshakes probably best we’ve ever had. Atmosphere was great.

We come to billy bobs quite a bit! Travelling over an hour and half for the kids to have some fun! We love the food and the play area so we were all looking forward to it. We have always brought the kids some fruit shoots in a bag as they are sweaty piglets after been in the play area and as we spend so much money in the diner we just bring them a bottle each that they then can fill up at the fountain provided (these days people don’t want to put there gob round a water fountain) Anyway we are all sat there like numerous other people with their own drinks for their kids. This man came marching up and told us we had to put our drinks away as it’s not allowed as per all the signs. We apologised and said sorry we do it all the time but fair enough! , I could totally understand if it was a full blown picnic we were having and if we weren’t going in the diner. He stood there until we put them in our bag- he was soooo rude!! About 2 minutes later my niece came up who is 2 years old gasping for her drink (her own juice bottle) which I gave it her. The same rude man came marching over and said “no that’s not allowed! If you do it again I will be asking you to leave. This is how we make our money!” I said really? She’s 2! We are going in the diner and spending a fortune on food and milkshakes. Everybody on the other tables couldn’t believe it and all hid their own juice bottles for their little ones. After that staff kept walking past us and like the other post, stalking us to see if we dared give our children their fruit shoots. The signs even say you aren’t allowed to drink your own drink in the car park! It’s ludicrous! The toilets were an absolute state as well! Maybe the stalking staff stalking people should be cleaning the toilets? If they have so much time on their hands. Maybe also concentrate on the people stood their vaping in the play area? Anyway we go into the diner and we are in line to be seated- the same rude man leaves his till to come and tell the waiter who was showing us to our table no more walk ins!! And glared at us/ my mum said we are booked in? So this poor rude man had to go back to his busy till that he had abandoned and let the waiter take us to our table. We ordered via the app at 14:10, it got to 14:25 and my mum had to go ask where our drinks were to the same rude man! Who told my mum they were really busy. He had to admit our drinks were forgotten about and then 10 minutes later he brought them over. So you aren’t allowed to drink your own drinks and then have to suffer dehydration until yours are ready or Que up The food is great and so are the shakes! Such a shame they are fixated on 2 year old kids not being able to drink out of their own juice cup!

We took our grandson for lunch and to play. The food was really good .We had a selection of hot dogs and they were huge. The outside play area was well thought out,a treat for any child. Lastly, but not least,the staff were welcoming ,friendly and efficient. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon.

We've live locally and have been coming here for about 7 years. Usually it's pleasant but during holidays, the staff become bullies! My family brought their own food because of allergies etc and we were Told we weren't allowed. Even though I disagree, it's Understandable. However when we put the food away it was like staff were constantly sent around us to keep an eye on us. It was awful. On top of that we've had rude member of staffs and managers talking in a very condescending, rude and discriminatory manner. One of the staff members told some people to buy chips and then they can access the play area. When my sister went to buy chips, he said you have to buy a whole meal. When she said I heard you tell others they could just buy chips he lied to her face and said no I didn't. The staff are extremely rude, and some of the rules are ridiculous. If it wasn't for the fact that my kids enjoyed the play area so much, I would never go again. Sort it out Billy Bob's, employ nicer people and re evaluate your rules.

Excellent service provided by all! We needed some extra help to make meals suitable for a type 2 diabetic and nothing was too much to ask. Our meals were tweaked to perfection and we managed a lovely birthday meal as a family. Great atmosphere, even better music 🎶. Thank you for a great night Billy Bob's

Returned for our third time. This time got the Philly steak sandwich - the gravy dipping sauce was absolutely amazing. Food is always spot on here. Great tasting, big portions. Never a single thing I could complain about. The cherry coke I had reminded me of time spent in America as a child many years ago. Staff are lovely too. Just a shame the indoor heated play barn wasn’t open on what was a very cold and wet day at the end of winter.

Had a great meal here, ordered via the qr code at the table, simple and easy, drinks arrived quickly and the food was not much longer, fantastic veggie options for both of us.

We just celebrated our sons 6th birthday in the birthday barn. What a fantastic place, the service was amazing. The timings were set out perfectly, so there was enough time between playing, eating mains and then ice cream. The staff also cut up the birthday cake and sorted the party bags we had bought with us The staff just couldn't do enough for us; it really was a wonderful experience that all the kids loved. Worth every penny!! A great place for birthdays and none of the stress for the parents!

We were so excited to come here with family that were visiting as every raves about it. We loved the decor and the kids couldn't' wait to get outside to play. Unfortunately the food was average, barely warm never mind hot, and my partner found a very thick hair in his ribs which put us all off eating our food. Upon looking at the kitchen staff in the open kitchen when we left most of them had beards so pick which one you'd rather it came from. Surely they should have them covered! He got a refund for his meal but we all left our remaining food. The play area was £3 per child, which after spending close to £100 on food we expected it to be free if you'd dined. The guy manning the station told us the other part was completely free if we wanted to use that, but as it was pouring down with rain and the other part wasn't covered we declined and left.

Second time here & we wondered why we had returned! very noisy but kids enjoyed eating on the bus, disgusted that in a party of 20+ an elderly family member was not allowed to order a portion of fries only! She eats very little & nothing on the menu she fancied! Food was mediocre, I got a veggie hotdog, ok but looked disgusting & barely warm, spicy fries were very good though. at first you think the food is quite expensive, but it's a nice place in a nice setting so maybe you'll just pay. Then you get told that the playground - which used to be free - is now £3 per child! I have 3 children so that's £9 to play on some climbing frames. And then you find out that they only get an hour! so no chance of enjoying a whole afternoon for your money either. When I questioned it they told me "We have to be able to keep track of how many children are in the playground" OK you can do that with wristbands but you don't have to charge paying customers through the nose for it. it's just plain greedy. Also there are no legal COVID restrictions anymore so its obviously just exploiting the concept to make as much money out of unsuspecting parents as possible - who they know will pay because they don't want crying kids. not acceptable.

Came in. Asked if they did take away. The woman behind the till looked as if I’d urinated on her kids. Start to finish rude staff. No welcome, no goodbye. £5 a milkshake I expect a smile with it? Also, if I’d eaten there and didn’t finish my meal I’d expect to be able to take it home in a box?

Wanted something different for my daughters birthday so decided to travel over an hour to visit Billy Bobs parlour as we had never been before and thought it would be a nice treat. I booked on line previous to arrive at 5.15pm, on arrival we were greeted and the waitress showed us to our table. She said to order from the app as it would be quicker. By the time our drinks and meal came it must of been 5.55pm. Before the waitress left she said if you want desserts you would have to order by 6.15, at this point we did not know if we would fit a dessert in or not!! All the way through our meal we felt that we had to eat it quickly thinking would we be in time to order a dessert. We quickly managed to order some milkshakes and other desserts. The milkshakes arrived but then we were kept waiting another 10 minutes for the rest of the desserts which I had to ask kindly for. I never write a review but just came away thinking that this was not a nice experience, I know staff will want to finish after a long day but you should be able to enjoy your meal and not be rushed what ever time you book.

Visited twice now. Once on the motorbike and once in the car. Both times have been spot on. When we arrived the latest time, it was extremely busy. We asked a young lady on host if there was room for 2 for food. She politely explained that they were fully booked but that we could order ice creams and eat them outside. Completely fine and understandable. I explained how we'd travelled from the lake district and expressed our disappointment (not at the young lady or the venue, but at our lack of organising). She apologised as if it were her fault bless her! Nevertheless we sat down and ordered ice creams, just as the manager (I presume) came over to say they're on top of the orders so if we wanted to place an order for food before he opens it up to every one else then we could do. Amazing! We both had burgers and chips, followed by the original ice creams that were previously ordered after our food. Would highly recommend and looking forward to returning.The only thing that would be nice to see more of is parking spaces for bikes, as there's only a small, limited amount of space for them at present.

Came to the restaurant this Sunday with my girlfriend we are both 21 years of age. Although I can not fault the service and food one thing really disappointed us during our visit. When we entered the restaurant we asked a a young lady if they had availability for walk in space for two people as it seemed busy. She kindly explained it would be best to run this through her manager first as to make sure it was okay. It was when the manager arrived at the hosting station that we both were so disappointed. Her whole demeanour and attitude towards this young member of staff was rude and obnoxious- not an attractive look, especially with customers right there waiting.

Visited by chance after seeing the road signs and then my wife Googling it. Extensive selection of lovely ice creams plus the whole ambience of the venue is great. Impressive that the American theme is taken all the way through to the selection of the sanitary ware! Probably the most authentic venue I have visited outside of the USA. Delineating a separate room for over 13's is a great idea and welcome. Food is ordered via an app and the service was speedy and efficient. Staff were friendly, focussed and well trained and I was impressed by the hygiene standards. If this venue was near my home I would be there every week. We were only a couple of pensioners of a staycation but our grandchildren would love the play areas and barns.

We've visited this place several times and the past and always enjoyed. The food has always been good and the play area has been great for kids. Having called in today however we were shocked to see that the play area now carries £3 charge per child. The meals aren't exactly cheap to begin with (although won't complain about this as you know with somewhere like this you will be paying over the odds for it), but it's pretty unpalatable that the play area, that until recently has been free of charge, you now have to pay for - even if you do spend enough on dinner to need to take out a second mortgage. Real shame to see that greed of the owners have ended up in such a policy. Certainly won't be visiting again whilst this remains in place as I begrudge paying to access a run of the mill play area, and the food alone isn't a big enough draw to visit alone.

My 14 year old has been looking to visit an American style diner for some time and was not disappointed by today’s visit at all.We drove 55 miles and after reading some of the reviews on here, i did wonder if it would live up to our expectation. It exceeded them.I booked in the Teens and Adults area, we were greeted by friendly attentive staff and shown to a quiet, clean, room with great memorabilia on the walls and Rock n Roll music on the jukebox.Amazing selection of reasonably priced Sodas, we had the fantastic root beers.2 out of the 3 of us are Veggie, great selection. Fully loaded very large Veggie dog was great, my son had veggie burger, my wife had ribs, far too many for her to eatWe had a few sides. All delicious and large portions.For dessert we shared a pancake dish, key lime waffles and the best milkshake we have had. So glad we shared as the milkshake is too much for one.Overall great staff , food and atmosphere, one very happy boy and Dad who wouldn’t hesitate to drive 110 miles to visit again soon.

We took our grandsons here for a birthday treat for the older one, age 14. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in the diner and the whiole place was busy (last day of the school holiday). There is a good choice of American style food on the menu and the servings were very big! The staff were also very good, friendly and efficient.However we were a bit disappointed with the play. The younger grandson (age 9 and mildly disabled) enjoyed himself but we felt that the play barn section for older children was a bit lacking in variety.Overall the boys did enjoy themselves, which was the whole point in going there, and we had a good, if rather expensive, day out.

It was our first time at Billy Bob’s Parlour and we had a great experience!! I’m quite surprised by the comments regarding staff as we had great service. Staff were so polite, cheerful and welcoming. We had the option of ordering at the till of via the app. We chose the app and we couldn’t fault the service. The food isn’t amazing but it’s to be expected at this sort of place, it’s fast food and completely unhealthy but it’s the school summer holidays so anything goes!! We finished our meal and the children wanted to visit the play area i the barn. They had so much fun, it’s huge and it was great fun! We paid £3 each child with an hours stay. Be prepared to walk away with a hay covered child!! It’s definitely worth a visit (must book online) with or without children, there is a teen and adult only section. It is very loud with families and young children so don’t expect a relaxing/quiet meal.

First visited here in 2017 and loved it, booked to go this august bank holiday and on route was reading the reviews on here, and was concerned.However needn’t have been. Arrived late due to traffic and they were fine and friendly, food was amazing and good value for the price (what you’d pay in any burger chain etc.) you won’t be disappointed with a visit here for a true American experience

Really disappointed to call in here as part of a family day out to find the only diary-free/vegan options on offer were mango or lemon sorbets. It’s like 20 years ago when the only vegetarian option you could get in a restaurant was a vegetable lasagne. Most places cater better for dietary needs these days and certainly other much smaller ice cream parlours offer good vegan options. Time to get with the times and offer something a bit more appealing than sorbet for vegans please.

We have visited a few times previously including when we could through lockdown to support business where we could. Always enjoyed it. Good service, worth travelling over an hour for. We always book and sit in the adults only area. Couldn't fault it.It seems that the prices have increased (understandably. I do get why after 2020) but the portion sizes are smaller (I'm OK with that too as they were huuuggee) but you get less e.g. no toppings on burgers and less finesse/ lack of presentation. Presumably they are trying to encourage you to spend even more adding extras like cheese and bacon rather than it coming as standard. I wouldn't mind paying for extras if the price of the burger to start with reflected that or if chips for example came as standard. We were unsure if we had maybe got it wrong so I have looked at their old Facebook posts and photos and going back 2 years, the food looked much nicer and better value for money. I got a Carolina chicken burger yesterday and it was literally a fried piece of chicken breast in a bun with the tiniest slither of tomato, no sauce, nothing. It was a sad burger sat in the middle of a massive plate and didn't look very appetising. It was extremely dry and not worth the £8 especially seen as you also have to buy sides seperately. I have had the same burger previously and it was delicious, I swear it had cheese, bacon and sauce but I could be wrong. The chips and coleslaw were really nice though but I didn't enjoy the burger at all.3 of us had the disappointing chicken burger, my mum got a turkey ranch salad and she said that again it wasn't like it used to be, fewer (and cheaper option) toppings and it was nothing inspiring. My sister got a gorgonzola salad and she said that the presentation used to be so much better. It was baby gem leaves with 2 hunks of cheese and veggies scattered on whereas it used to be crumbled and all mixed together and just used to be nicer. Its a real shame as we always enjoyed it and I understand they will have had a tough 18 months but I don't think we will return in a hurry. It's definitely not worth the long drive out anymore.

I left Billy bobs absolutely disgusted the way I was spoken to by the manager.reading other reviews it appears I'm not alone. Was told to move off a table that wasn't marked as reserved plus I'm disabled and was clearly struggling,no help whatsoever. Prices are shocking and the £3 charge for the play area on top of food is damn right greed.please do not visit if you don't want your kids to be disappointed

We last visited Billy Bob’s about four years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so decided to visit once more. We arrived mid morning, the place wasn’t busy, the outdoor play area was empty.We were told that our three grand children could not play on any of the play areas until we had ordered food. So we ordered. On ordering we were given three slips, one for each child to exchange for wrist bands, and told that they were allowed to play for one hour starting from when they received their wrist bands. So they couldn’t play whilst waiting for their food as the time eating would have eaten up part of the hour(excuse the pun). When the food came it was wolfed down very quickly in order for them to start playing. We went to exchange the slips for wrist bands and were charged £3.00 per child, something that hadn’t been explained to us before! The children had a good time playing in the barn. The hour soon went. It took us one and a half hours to get there, same going back so a three hour car journey to play for one hour. I know businesses like this have suffered during lockdown but this isn’t the way to re-coup, word will get around that it’s now a rip off and people will keep away. We paid for four meals, three wrist bands, total over £50.00 for one hours play. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Visited with my 3 kids. Have visited before and loved it. The experience this time was terrible! The system was poorly explained by all the UNFRIENDLY . Children can only play if you dine in and then additional £3 per child for wristband to go in playground. (1hr play only) The manager, dark haired slim lady checked shirt glasses is extremely rude. Stay away!! Rude and disgusting staff. SHE, the manager was patronising us saying in future to read websites and understand systems before our outings. Website states non of this. Dining inside reservations only and others to eat outside. And on a busy Saturday like we visited if no seats outside stand around watching waiting for people to finish and run to the next available table. Disgusting service and the staff were awful. Avoid. Many other diners and dessert parlours out there with better service. Won’t be coming here again! EVER

We went to billy-bobs for a coffee at around 9am on our way to Bolton Abby. It was very quiet - There was one other family sat outside and no children on the play area. We asked if our daughter could play on the park, and the staff member said we would need to dine for her to play as it was school holidays, we said ok and ordered some pancakes, spending over £15 on a small portion of pancakes and a very small waffle (both nice but v disappointing portion sizes considering the price!) whilst waiting we then tried to take our daughter (1) on to the park and saw a sign for needing a wrist band, my partner went back in and asked a second staff member if she could play explaining that we had ordered food. She have him a food receipt and said yes, we went back out, and then a third staff member explained we would need to pay £3 for a wrist band!! Neither of the first two staff had explained this despite us asking both. Very confusing system not made clear. Then told you can only play for an hour, as more people arrived lots of disappointment from kids being told to wait to play on an empty play area until after there food. Seems very money grabbing and makes experience stressful for families. Real shame that the play area was stood empty whilst kids had to sit and wait. If the kids could go off and play would be enjoyable for families. I did complain to the third member of staff who I must say was far more helpful and understanding. The older lady who first served us came across quite rude however this younger lady who worked in the outside section was much more helpful and apologised that we’d not been given correct information.

Staff were very rude to us when we sat at a table, told to sit outside but there was no signs to say tables are for reservations. Menu is ridiculously overpriced, we were shocked at staff who were shouting at kids to get out of the playground as they didn't have a wristbands. I'm surprised they didn't charge us to use the toilets. Needless to say,we won't be back.it was a waste of a journey.go to g&t's near fountains abbey.prices are much more reasonable and staff are friendly.

We arrived at Billy Bobs Skipton , we found a table and some stroppy woman with glasses in jeans and checked shirt came over and told us to move outside, we rang last week to book a table and were told no need as plenty of tables, 6 of us had sundaes, which we had to wait 40 mins for, This place is overpriced , portions were very small, staff were rude and dam right miserable, staff are supposed to be welcoming and polite this lot definitely are not, After our sundaes, the children wanted to play in the barn and playground, what a rip off had to pay another £3 for the kids to play in a barn full of straw bales, only get one hour for £3 wristband , then they come round and tell small children to get out as there time is up, its disgusting the way they treat people in this place, plenty of other nice ice cream parlours around AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE COVID, it really is bad, terrible customer service, poor portion sizes, overpriced, will never ever return to this place should be on RIP OFF BRITIAN , or closed down, it was just awful if i could give zero i would , do not get ripped off in Billy Bobs it is awful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0/0

We’ve been visiting since this place opened and have always championed it. Sadly, our latest visit was disappointing- staff were verging on rude, no friendly smiles. We had a long wait for our food which was average - soggy pancakes and dry hash browns. When you’re paying a premium for food and play, it seems fair to expect excellence and this visit definitely fell far short of that mark.

Not great. We used to come all the time as it used to be a lovely place to eat and has a nice little play park outside but we won’t be in a hurry to visit any time soon. It’s just down to greedy owners now. Food took ages to arrive then missed the side of bacon, Then found out we had to pay £3 for an hours play at the park which we didn’t bother but what an absolute rip off, which you can only use if you have spent a small fortune by dining in. You are paying for the novelty of an American diner and there are much nicer places to eat. I wouldn’t bother. The park at aireville is much better. £3 for a few slides and couple of swings no thank you!!!

When they tell you to use their app to order, DON’T! Just go inside, order and pay. The app doesn’t work. It rejected my card details 3 times, even though they were right. It then accepted a different card, gave me the order number and delivered…………nothing. When we questioned the lack of food after 45 minutes, the server told us that it often just rejects the order and places it back in your basket, but doesn’t tell you. We then left. So, when the server asks you to order through their app, politely decline and order inside, the old fashioned way.

Visited 25th have been many times before as only live 10 mins away. Portions now smaller and food more expensive as well as it arriving in dribs and drabs. Missed something off our order an was told oh will be here soon had to ask 3 more times.Then to top it they want £3 per child for what is effectively a park with a few slides and swings that was always free before so you could cope with the prices for the food. Girl challenges us why we haven’t paid nothing is mentioned anywhere that you need to pay and where you go to pay.Billy robs is another company that has sadly used the pandemic to crank up its prices an extract every last penny from people visiting. Won’t be going again any time soon.

This could be a lovely restaurant for a day out with the family, unfortunately you will end up feeling disappointed and that you have been taken for a ride. The food is massively overpriced for the quality and portion size. Up to recently part of the out door play area was free, they have started charging now which just adds to an already overpriced day. This place just stinks of greed, if you where thinking about going don’t, Hesketh park farm is a good alternative, well priced day out for the family with Bolton Abbey nearby.

If you like this sort of thing then it's done well. Of course you get the usual moans and groans about it being expensive but it's different, it' swell equipped and they are in business to make money not provide a public service.Hesketh just down the road is a better day out for overall content and value but if you want an American themed diner with play activities and not a cow or sheep in sight then you might like it. Not my cup of tea - but the ice cream was good!

We visited following a recommendation from a friend. Ordering on the app was a complete waste of time. The order didn't go through and after wasting a lot of time we ended up ordering at the counter which would have been far easier in the first place. The food was enjoyable and the service good. We enjoyed the ice flavours too. Overall we enjoyed our food but found the cost to be high and the negative signage on the drive up to the restaurant off putting.

The food was nice but overpriced compared to some other similar establishments but you’re paying for the experience. The service was ok, staff were nice and friendly but over came out sporadically with a massive wait between bringing things. The first drinks were delivered and then the rest 10 mins later. You can order on app or go up to the desk. We ordered on the app and it was easy to use and there was free wifi. We went to the play barn which was free last time we went. Now it £3 per child for an hour and you can only go if you have eaten there. If you go to a play gym it’s about £4 and you get between 2-3 hours. Kids has fun but felt like we were being ripped off. Although we haven’t been for a while, we have been we have been quite a few times and enjoyed it. I understand that they are a business who are out to make money but it does feel like that is more important than anything else these days. There’s only so much you can push the prices before people decide not to come back and take their business elsewhere.

The food is always nice and the waiting staff are friendly - we ordered a lot of food on the app and waited for around an hour, went to the counter and was told our order hadn’t gone through… this was confusing because I went to tell a staff member we had ordered food but moved table and was told it was sorted.I asked for a takeaway box for the waffle I ordered to keep it warm and was told no as the ice cream might melt and they didn’t do take away and so had nothing to give me, when I asked why and explained it was freezing outside, a male staff member said ‘you don’t have to order here if you don’t want to’. The other staff member said she would try hurry the food up but it wasn’t their fault. When I asked a waitress for a take away box, she brought one straight away. Really disappointed with the service and how rude the staff were when realising the order hadn’t processed.
