Ordered a breakfast from here for my husband and I after seeing reviews and photos of the food on Facebook, we were very disappointed. The eggs tasted very cheap, the hash browns tasted greasy and were soggy, the beans and plum tomato should have been put in a separate box, the bacon was cheap and mass produced and tasted awful. The sausages and the mushrooms were the only tasty parts of the breakfast, not like nannas home cooked food and took over an hour to deliver and definitely not worth £5 each.

Just had a beautiful Sunday lunch delivered. There was 6 different vegetables and it was all well cooked and hot.

Staff were lovely but having paid £15 to park our car we were looking forward to a lovely lunch and a walk. The walk was great of course but very little choice of food. Ended up with a bacon sandwich which was pretty poor quality and small for £5.50. Ice cream selection was nice though.

Main High Street Car ParkGot seated with menu then waited!! After 15 minutes I had to ask for order to be taken. Food was good when it arrived. Our waitress was less than efficient. Other customers arriving after us were served some time before us.

New RoadWe have visited her over many years on our journey from the lake District to Harrogate and back. It used to be privately owned I believe and the food and quality was excellent. Sadly this is no longer the case, just another generic chain. Our food was average at bedtime I'm afraid with the prawns on my partner's microwaved jacket potato being completely tasteless. Such a pity.

High StreetWent for a pre Christmas lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby raved about the burritos and wanted to go back and have them again but there is only so many things you can do in a week! Lovely little pub. Great staff and great food. Will be back when we come back to the area!!

Skipton RoadThe Cavendish Arms hosted my father’s wake this week. The family cannot thank them enough for the afternoon and evening. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was outstanding with homemade/home cooked food a plenty. We are all still talking about now! Leigh, Owen & Joe were so generous with their hosting and the amount of delicious food offered to us! We had the pub to ourselves until the pub’s evening opening time and then we didn’t feel we needed to round up the occasion. In fact, some of us were still there at 11pm. Thank you again, Leigh, Owen & Joe from us all. Previous to the wake ~ we made a couple of visits to organise things and had lunch on both occasions. Once again… the food was quite outstanding. Freshly cooked, well presented, full of flavour and generous portions. We were eyeing up all the different dishes being served up in the dining room and it all looked top class. I think we might have found a new favourite pub! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
