Small place with seating inside with 4 tables and more outside. I had carrot and lentil soup was nice and friend bloomer toasty with side salad and coleslaw, which she said was very nice, Good coffee and friendly service.

Lovely friendly place with delicious home cooked cakes and scones. If you're in Brampton it's a good place for a snack.

Perfect stop for a freshly made sandwich and some homemade cake, scones, and treats. Great range of hot and cold drinks, including speciality teas. Eat in or takeaway. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Clean well kept facilities. The perfect place for a treat, especially with friends.

FREAK SHAKE!!! A great place to stop and have a bite to eat or treat the kids with a celebratory Freak Shake. It is small so you may have to call ahead if you are planning to visit.

Turned up with six motorcycling mates and they looked after us very well. There was plenty of outdoor seating to accommodate us all.

Popped in for a quick bite on the way from Longtown to Sunderland. The owner was really friendly and the waiter polite and courteous. We chose coffees, soup (sweet potato and red pepper, lentil and leek) and a bacon roll. The soups were served with a generous portion of granary bread. One diner had their coffee after the meal with a slice of delicious fruit cake, topped with delicious seeds. Yummy!

If you are in Brampton and fancy a bite to eat or maybe a little snack well this is the place to be. Berry's offer a great range of snacks and meals - I enjoyed my fruit scone and the coffee was first class. A little haven in restful surroundings and great for your kids if they like milkshakes!Thank you we enjoyed our two visits!

Great atmosphere in this place. Olde Worlde layout with plenty of upcycled pieces of furniture. We popped in for "Scarey shakes" but ended up having an 'all day breakfast' and scones as well. I have given it 4 stars because I think it is a bit 'bric-a-bracish' : NOT a complaint, but, I've been in better ones like this. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who asked about a decent place to go.

This is not a place to visit if you do not have children. It tailors for children and mothers which is fine but not if you want peace and quiet. Serves amazing shakes though if you do go!

We came across this cafe on our visit to Hadrians Wall. Great find, its a small cafe but great food and great value. We only had sandwiches but the menu looked great with plenty of choice. I would recommend the BLT it came with tortilla chip, side salad and a pot of coleslaw. The cakes looked very appetising, didn’t try as full from the sandwiches. Would recommend if your visiting the area. Although a small cafe you may have to wait for a table, but worth it.

Visited with my little ones after being told how good the freak shakes are by my mum, couldn’t have been nicer, lovely place and lovely freak shakes. Not noisy even though they were full and very good value for money!! We will defiantly visit again!!

Take my kids for a treat once a month and have always found it very welcoming. Reading some of the reviews makes you feel bit uncomfortable kids should not have to sit in silence nor should they be bouncing around.I think its brilliant place they have a few toys so mums can drink there coffee and kids play.After hearing about customer complaining about children think its very sad.

Berry's is a lovely little tearoom. It caters for ALL ages, the food and drinks are great, particularly the Freak Shakes which are a huge hit with the kids. I can highly recommend the pineapple and mango smoothie (Very nice)! The staff are all lovely, as is Lesley who owns it and always greets you with a smile.

To be avoided if you are not a child person. It caters for children and therefore very noisy and usually people with their babies. As it is so small you cannot escape the noise

Visited here on way home. Other places were too busy but this was quiet little cafe. The Mars bar cake was the best. The coffee was good too. Very friendly staff, the food was all homemade. The bacon butties smelt amazing.

We stopped here for lunch. The food was very nice. Tearoom isn't huge, but there was seating outsode. Good selection for lunch menu and the milkshakes were amazing. what

Called in for tea/coffee/cake whilst in the area, the staff were excellent and really friendly. The premises was really clean. The cakes appeared home made and were delicious. I'm awkward and like my tea with a slice of fresh lemon in it - no problem here.

I note that everybody raves about the milk shakes but all I wanted was a coffee. The coffee was good, but the place was just too noisy, inside and out.

This is a fabulous cafe - the decor is very sweet and the food is very tasty. The kids love to go for the freak shakes (maybe mum likes to go for this reason too ) and they love the beans on toast! They also sell wax melts and penny sweets so you feel like you are visiting a little goodie shop as well as a cafe! It’s in a great location handy for Brampton and the staff are very welcoming and great with kids! Must visit!!

Wonderful staff, attentive and friendly. I enjoyed a lovely coffee, got to drink it all, as my teenager worked her way through a chocolate freakshake - work of art! Highly recommend.

Was such an amazing place. We were welcomed like it was our own home. I had a oreo freak shake and didn't expect it to be so great and filled with lots of treats like donuts cream chocolate ice cream oreos filled everywhere. This was the best drink I had ever tasted by far. I would definitely go back. I can't also believe they do breakfast bagels. Love it. Go there!!!!!!!!!

Took my 15 year old granddaughter after seeing the jugs of shakes and how nice they are with young people. She loved it we will be back with other grandchildren but only occasionally as goes against parents healthy eating!!

I had heard of Berry's Tearoom in Brampton but hadn't visited until today. I ordered a freak shake , there is a wide range of flavours to choose from as well as a range of sizes! Loved it, with chocolate crispies around the rim of the glass and a mini chocolate donut on the straw- lovely touches ! I will Definitely go back again. Lovely warm atmosphere with friendly staff. Approx 15min from Carlisle. Head out of Carlisle and onto the A689 turn off for Brampton A6071 , drive along Main Street then turn off on the right into High Cross street, (before the traffic lights) and the cafe is on the right . There is a small carpark behind the building if the spaces opposite are full or there maybe spaces in the middle of Brampton. Ideal stop off if you are on route or back from a venture along Hadrian's wall

Stopped in while I was walking Hadrian's wall and I ordered a small strawberry shake. Delicious! The chocolate rice krispies on the rim was a nice touch. FYI: cash only.

I was told that this place did fantastic shakes, so I decided to see for myself. It's a lovely wee place: clean, and the staff are very friendly. It wasn't expensive, and my kids loved their shakes. If you're near Brampton it's well worth a visit.

Lovely little cafe just off the market place offers a great choice of sandwiches, toasties and cakes. The monster shakes are a must to try, they are like a cake in liquid form and very yummy

While out for a Saturday drive we ended up in Brampton and popped in here for Lunch, it was LOVELY, very friendly helpful staff, bright , clean and a little quirky Café.

I visited here with my daughter, son and young granddaughter after a morning of walking. The staff were extremely friendly and the premises clean. They were quite happy for my daughter to give her baby daughter food she had brought along. My son & I opted for sandwiches which were served with salad, coleslaw & Tortilla chips while my daughter chose the soup. All food was fresh and we had empty plates all round. I had a refreshing pot of tea while my son and daughter opted for hhe freak shakes which looked like a meal in themselves. I will definitely head back here on my next trip to Brampton.

Having had a disappointing attempt at visiting another coffee shop in Brampton ae ventured round to Berry's based on a recommendation we had been given for the freakshakes.

We visited here after hearing good reports and to say the least we were more than impressed. We had a breakfast which was suited to our needs and wasnt a problem for the lady. We also indulged in a famous milkshake with all the trimmings. It was well presented and extremely delicious.

Popped in quickly for late lunch. Had great sandwich with fresh brown bread and a fantastic peanut freak shake which included small doughnut and chocolate crispier. Staff very friendly and provided fast service. Will be calling again.

My husband and I stopped off here for lunch we ordered a BLT and a milkshake. We where not disappointed everything was tasty/fresh and filling! Our waitress was really great and the owners seemed lovely and friendly. The decor was very eye pleasing - really liked the tables (well done!) The place had a really nice feel about it. We can't wait to return with our daughters and see there faces once receiving one of the amazing shakes!
