Beautiful golf club. Went for lunch, food is excellent as well.

Sunday lunch was good. Serve yourself and they are willing to give you more meat. Dessert was the highlight! Extra difficult to book a table. We had to wait 3 weeks to get a table.

The Sunday Carvery is excellent. 3 choices of meat carved for you and an array of vegetables . Lovely welcoming chef team.

Arranged a 80th birthday dinner for my wife and 20 guests in the small panelled room. Wonderful occasion arranged by my daughter with help and advise by the catering management.

Beautiful venue, great for large parties, such as weddings, Christmas celebrations, birthdays etc. Very easy to get to with a large car park. Good catering with large outdoor heated marquee and bar.

Beautiful place, but I am not a golfer, but the wedding venue behind the golf club is very good, I the walled garden.

We attended a wake at the golf club . Very nice buffet was laid on , in the circumstances very nice setting overlooking part of the golf course.

Beeston Fields has a dated charm about it which is not to it's detriment. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch with good food and good coffee. The service was good too, polite and helpfl. Beautiful surroundings and an oasis not far from the A52.

Had my wedding reception here and was beautiful.

Went for Christmas carvery, food ok except beef was very fatty. Service was not as good as on previous visits, one member of staff I think who may have been a restaurant manageress was almost rude in her manner. Waitress did not seem to have been trained in serving the table or clearing away. Poor choice of starters and desserts. The member of staff who I think may have been in a managerial post was quite indignant when I asked her to split the bill between, the drinks and food. The reason I asked was I was paying for the meals and we were splitting the cost of the drinks between the party. Further to all this I had to ask her to amend the bill and deduct the £120 deposit I had already paid.

We booked a lunch for my mum and dads 40th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The bar room is spacious with a lovely view and the staff were incredibly accommodating - a bottle of bubbles and little decorations added at no extra charge. The food is of a great standard for "bar" food. Will definitely be returning.

Went for lunch with friends and it was a lovely venue overlooking the golf course 😊and the staff were superb. Interesting menu and really good value. Will be going back.

Toilets were unclean on arrival no toilet paper and bins full but over looking that a lovely venue

Booked a society day for 2020 but couldn't play due to covid restrictions. However, rebooked for July 2021, and well worth the wait. Booked through Emily , who kept in contact as needed, able to get a excellent tee time, followed by a one course meal afterwards, excellent package price. Walking from car park to the club house and seeing the course, had the wow factor. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Course in good condition, excellent variety of challenging holes. Will definitely return in the near future.

Played today for first time in a very long time. The course is in great condition. The fairways are lush and the greens are of the highest standard. We shall definitely return and soon.

My husband and I have always had good service from friendly staff at beeston fields. Food has been tasty. Lovely setting . Just calling in for a drink on sunny afternoon is a pleasure.

Fabulous place and staff. We were here this time for my mother in laws wake and it was perfect. Previously visited for their 40th wedding anniversary a few years ago and it was fantastic on both occasions.

Great golf course. All the Tees are flat as it was the county course a year or so ago, so all the Tees are well maintained. The fairways are generous, but if you winder into the rough you do get punished,. Most of the fairways are tree lined, but as u said earlier the fairways are quite generous. The greens are true a quite quick, try not to get in the wrong side as you'll be wondering what's just happened 😀. Would highly recommend. With a member it's £23, we'll worth the money 👍

Had a great afternoon at Beeston Fields. The course was presented excellently with challenge and reward in equal measure. The pro shop is well stocked and operates CV-19 well. The clubhouse has been well shaped for coping in this difficult time! Thank you to all at BFGC hopefully I'll be back to play on a slightly cooler day!!!!!

Absolutely don't dinning area like a holiday kids room no table clothes food cold had beef a vet would have got it back on its feet very expensive for what you get better off going to chip shop been to a lot better places for half the price very disappointing ⛔

The themed nights for eat out to help out are fantastic. Great food, great service. The Indonesian night was exceptional.

Attended New Year 's Eve Dinner with friends. Great clubhouse, staff friendly, food and drink good as was the disco and fireworks at midnight.

A nice breakfast with "the girls". Unlimited tea and coffee but limited service!! A warm greeting and the breakfast was very well cooked (the sausages were particularly yummy) but unfortunately they were slow at clearing the table, getting our included fizz to us and the bill never arrived although we asked 4 times! We left our money and left!

Came here for a wedding recently on the hottest day of the year so far! we had a wonderful day. The gardens are beautiful. The food was great. The staff were very allergy aware and made sure I could enjoy my meal. a beautiful venue for a wedding!

Not really sure how to put this? I wasn't impressed. Had the event in the marquee- food warm but came out pretty late and was really disappointing. Only thing fascinating was weirdly- the toilet mirror illusion created- well for me

My wife and I were treated to a Sunday roast dinner for mothering Sunday.We were welcomed by very friendly staff who were most attentive to our needs, the dining area was very light and we'll decorated, the table settings were lovely.The roast we had was a self service, the food was extremely fresh especially the vegetables, all food was piping hot could not fault the mealmin any way.We wandered round the walled garden after dinner, so beautiful with all the plants starting to bloom, a very nice treat indeed, would go back again.

Relaxed atmosphere and good service. Grounds are well kept and easy to find.

Don't read too much into 3 stars. Staff were very helpful, catering was good but the course was ropey due to the weather and time of year. Bunker sand has improved with beekeepers working hard on them and only a couple of greens had signs of disease. They supply "mats" to hit off on fairways! In 60 years of golfing I've never had to use these before, and I'll turn round and go home if anyone ever suggests it again. Mickey 🐁 golf if ever I've seen it. The ball won't stay on it, it's always above your feet and you can't ground the club behind the ball or it does a runner. It's reminiscent of trying to hit a 3 wood out a bunker. I'm back again next month and will expect much better.

This was our first visit to Beeston Fields to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the view across the golf course was lovely and the carvery was great. We would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

Wedding venue with lots of character.

The marquee and the walled garden within the grounds of the Beeston Fields Golf Club, was the recent venue for our daughter’s wedding, and what a beautiful and perfect day it turned out to be. The venue provided the location for the entire day that included the civil marriage service, wedding breakfast, dance floor and evening food. The marquee was well dressed out and ample size to cater for the 100 plus guests; the walled garden provided a secluded area for the guest to mingle before and after, and a lovely backdrop for the wedding photographs. The weather managed to stay sunny and dry, enabling the guests to sit around on the lawn.The staff in the marquee were professional and efficient, staying out of the way when necessary and being there when needed. We opted for a buffet style wedding breakfast with two choices of meat, and where required, a vegetarian option was catered for. The food was well presented and hot at the time of service. No complaints.We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff that were involved in the arrangements and making everything run smoothly on the big day, with a particular special thank you to Emily Cheetham, who was the lead management representative and ensured that the bride had no worries.

We come here quite often and enjoy the clubhouse. Marina is the best waitress and always looks after us very well!

We recently visited for the Xmas meal and first of all the table and chairs were terrible the chairs were so uncomfortable they moved every time you moved the table wasn’t very stable, one of the members of staff was quite rude we were seating down and she decided to clear our crackers even lent over while we was talking which we didn’t like at all as any mess we made we moved to one side. We ordered our starters and it took way over 30 minutes til they arrived I understand they was busy but still unacceptable, as we were quite hungry we went up ourselves to get the carvery when we got back to our table they hadn’t cleared the starters. The main was lovely as all hot and enjoyed it. Then the deserts that then took ages again. I think the whole experience today was not as good as last year we got the feeling they had forgot us as we were put out of the way. The service was very poor. My mother in law was sick as we left the golf club and father in law isn’t great. Please improve as last year was good

We came to celebrate a friends birthday. Lovely setting - great view and atmosphere. The tea was superb and the service very attentive! However, as we came to the endof our tea, a very angry man , who I assume to be the captain of the golf team, got up and basically tore a strip off his team about some sheet they needed to put their names on. They then went on to have a meeting!!! Of course by now everyone was silent and the lovely birthday atmosphere we had had had gone! I have to say the atmosphere was now very awkward! I feel it was uncalled for and very unprofessional! We ended up leaving what had been a lovely afternoon, feeling quite deflated! I have been meaning to write this report sooner but didn’t have time- I was however determined to write it soon as.

Me and my husband had our wedding here on 3rd of September, it's a beautiful venue. We had it inside looking out too the golf course. It was a perfect day and Gary and the team couldn't of been better! A massive help only down fall was. They broke our cake topper which we was keeping. Gutted. But getting it fixed. Other than that everything else was amazing :) and food was delicious! Thank you again too everyone!

I have not played on such poor greens in a long long time. So deseased I had to scrub my shoes before playing on another course.

Went here for afternoon tea for my partners birthday. We really enjoyed the sandwiches and variety of cakes. Lovely clean hotel and staff are friendly.

Went to the Italian buffet event last night. Food was mediocre. Table not big enough to hold dishes. Was very disappointed. Rissoto was undercooked and asstd pizza appeared and tasted like a frozen supermarket brand. Antipasti was very good
