Excellent Sunday roast - beef or pork belly. Attentive staff made for a good afternoon. Recommended.

I was expecting this to be standard pub grub. It wasn’t. It was beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely flavours. Vegetables fresh and crunchy. Group of 4. All very impressed. Staff friendly and attentive. Well done! We had a great Sunday lunchtime. Thank you.

The food is nice but the prices are high now. £15 for a burger with a small portion of fries. Staff are friendly

As a restaurant it is very nice, bit expensive but very good food. As a pub the beer is expensive and the seating area for drinks is uncomfortable and cramped.

went here for Sunday lunch. first impressions were good, nice atmosphere, good decor, well laid out. restaurant was nicely decorated and tables were well presented,staff were very efficient and friendly and the food was good with a varied menu, Water was provided without asking. I would recommend this place to anyone

Food mediocre service by serving staff good very poor cleanliness in wc no loo paper in either of the wc's staff on duty said they were waiting for a female to attend didn't understand this comment when signs in various establishment advise there may be male/female attendant

The Nuthall has been transformed from run of the mill pub to an up market stylish eatery with fabulous decor and menus. If you want a bit of a lunch time treat, then you could do worse than go to the Nuthall. Many thanks to Alex for her exemplary help.

Lovely pub fantastic food and great service

I took my mum here for a steak. We have been coming here for about 2 years. but has gone down hill now. We had a starter I had bread & Olives but they had pip's in and I didn't enjoy them. Which they didn't have before. We both have a Sirloin steak medium which was very Chewy and fatty. And we both had Peppercorn sauce which was very very watery. I paid £88.80 I was left feeling robbed. I've have had a better steak in wetherspoons and that saying something. Don't waste your money on the Steak or the steak sauces (water)

Went for a 40th birthday lunch, meal was beautiful, 6 cleared plates!, staff were attentive and helpful, would definitely return

Table for 1 sorry no tables so eat at the bar 4 tables taken only even after a 1.5 hours what's that about. Stone faced staff as a greeting looks like thay hate they jobs food was better than good. Served by a great waitess she was a high point what a shame could have top marks

Absolutely love it here, couldn't recommend enough, been a few times now and the food is super tasty, never had a bad experience yet. Will be going again soon - I would recommend the wild mushroom risotto!! yum!

I went for a wake in a private back room. It was a lovely room, the buffet was lovely, especially the battered fish bites.

Fab food, always exceptional service! Good range of food available, cater for children too! I or row and outdoor seating for the warmer weather. Toilets are always super clean.

Updated Review: recently refurbished and definitely gone up market. Menu choices good, but could do with more. Food good but risotto slightly overcooked. Overall an improvement on our last visit but still room for further improvement to justify the price charged.

Awful sunday lunch, had the platter, chicken breast had a huge bone in it , the beef was sandwich beef you buy in a pack, and the pork was just fat, ate a few mouths full then said I don't want it , spoke to the manager, and he just said oh the chicken does have a bone. Just overall very poor.

Overall, it was a nice place. The food was good but a little expensive for me. The fries came in a pot, and they were just crispy bits, not fries, and the Christmas pudding was dry and not enough brandy sauce . The staff were very friendly, but the atmosphere was dull, no Christmas music playing in the background . It was clean and bright

Popped in for a spot of lunch. I think the place has just been refurbished? I was very tastefully done. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The food was also really tasty. They get the thumbs up from me.

Visited The Nuthall, which is our local pub, since its been refurbished. The decor inside was lovely and can honestly say they've done a smashing job. Me and my wife went for an evening meal and took advantage of the 2 courses for £17.95 deal. The starter and main were delicious! Staff were friendly and service was great. Highly recommended and would definitely re-visit.

Very busy when we got there, nice atmosphere and good service, not a massive selection of drinks and wouldn't serve us any cocktails that were not in their list which I did find ok seeming as it's supposed to be a pub, but each to their own I suppose. The food was ok but I wouldn't say it was a gastro pub persay. I have had worse food, but also had a lot better.

We always go to Nuthall for our work Christmas meals and the food is absolutely lovely. Especially salmon. It's nice to see a generous portion of sea food that is priced reasonably. Thank you!

My family are here this evening. It was a lovely evening. The food was amazing and our waitress was superb very polite and accomodating. We were made to feel very comfortable. I would definitely done here again.

What is the real meaning of hospitality? Hospitality means extending a welcome to travelers or offering a home away from home, and the word is derived from the Latin word “hospes” meaning visitor or stranger. Landlord needs to study more.

Superb in every way except car park which was full, no issue though. Lovely greeting, dining room was presented and laid out, comfy chairs. Waitress was on her first day but very confident and service was smooth. The food outstanding, my wife says her salmon was the best in a long time, my fish and chips superb as well. In Nottingham for a few days and have booked again for two more nights. A must if your in the area.

I’ve been so looking forward to going to The Nuthall , Cinderhill . as it’s just had a refurbishment, I visited it yesterday with my friend it was such a WOOW FACTOR !!!! when we walked in. The decor is amazing. Each section has a different theme. It’s so bright and airy. I’ve been going there for a lot of years and I’ve always enjoyed it. The staff are always so polite and helpful it has such a lovely ambience the food is amazing every time. It always feels warm and inviting when I go . I recommend it to all my friends and family they now recommended it to their friends and family too. You have to try it and you’ll definitely go back. HHAPPY EATING 😊

Excellent refurbishment great food and service, a little slow but it was full on a Wednesday lunchtime service. Definitely recommend. The pies are amazing as well as the chunky chips, they took the Eton mess off the menu 2 yrs ago, wish they would bring it back.

Not impressed. Not given a menu but told to sit in the bar and wait, ended up looking online and ordering with a drink. The food was average. Disappointed as it used to be better. Doubt if we will go back.

we visited the newly refurbished nuthall pub and restaurant, the décor is very nice a cross between gentlemens club and art deco. we had food in the restaurant and having eaten here in the past and we noticed a few changes to the menu, many of the favourites remained on the menu. prices have increase a small amount, but inline with other restaurants. The one thing they are missing is the feel of making each restaurant guest feel special, my self and the wife both said, yes it was nice but we felt like we were just a number in the till, the restaurant manager should make more of an effort to engage with customers, this would make people feel like they are valued as a customer. would I eat there again? yes but may be for just some small plates, it's not an experience it's just reasonable food in nice setting. Nuthall you have nearly got it,so 7/10.

Just left the nuthall restaurant, it as opened after a refurbishment and i must say it looks very posh. The food was 100% , people say its pricy but you get what you pay for, it was worth every penny, i dont mind paying for good food. Staff very jovial and friendly, very attentive. Booking again in 2 weeks

Looks nice inside having recently been refurbishment (October 23). Not tried the menu yet since the refurb, so not sure if it's changed, but the food is usually very good.

The team at the Nuthall went above and beyond to make it a perfect morning. The food was amazing and well presented and the staff were kind and accommodating and professional. It was my daughters 7th birthday and she ordered the pancakes. They made sure they came out the kitchen with a candle for a nice little surprise! We will 100% be back after the refurb to try the highly recommended Sunday dinner 🍽️

Myself and 2 teenager grandchildren , the welcome and service was exceptional best fish & chips (crunchy real chips) was best I ve had in a long while. The 2 burgers were really tasty and obviously home made. Noroom for desert. Great menu. Only little niggle you had to pay extra for bacon and cheese on burgers. Made them £17.95. But large and very tasty., chips and salad etc included. Very nice decoration , great place to eat.

The waitress was so attentive and really chatty and friendly. The restaurant itself was really nicely decorated and had such a warm, cosy vibe to it. The food was fantastic. We shared the camembert between two to start with and there wasn’t much bread for the amount of cheese, but the waitress brought some more over very quickly and free of charge. The main courses were all wonderful as-well and good portion sizes. I had the lentil pie which tasted absolutely fantastic and was presented in a beautiful way too. They also brought out a takeaway box when my sister couldn’t finish all of her burger. The chocolate brownie was also delicious. Had a great experience. If I had to give some constructive feedback, it would be nice to see some more vegetarian options, but apart from that there were no faults.

Really great service - greeted and shown to our table by Jon and waited on throughout by Tom. Allocated a table in the side 'conservatory' room which allowed easy conversation and gave the lunch a party feel. Great food, all pre-ordered for our party of 12, served efficiently. Enjoyed by all - definitely recommend.

Went with a friend for lunch and was warming greeted by the new manager. I was so pleased , because when I went with my husband last month the then manager was very rude. The food is absolutely beautiful. Every member of staff was cheerful and polite. Can't wait to spend more time there now.sending a great big welcome to the lovely new manager!

Staff lovely but manager very rude because I took a birthday cake , which apparently wasn't on as I didn't say in advance .hence taking trade away from people having a dessert. 5 of us eating there so spent plenty of money on meals & drinks

Overall, I’m happy with my visit. Good food & service. Only issue I had was my booking for table at 3.30pm for two. We arrived at exactly 3.37pm Sue to traffic & our table was given away. I usually ala ways call even if I’m going to be 5 minutes late but in this insta car I was driving & therefore not able. Being only around the corner & most restaurants having a 15 minute grace period I didn’t think it would be an issue. Anyway, we were sat in the conservatory, which was lovely & the service was good. The roast chicken Sunday lunch was also lovely.

They responded promptly to any questions I may have had and everything went so smoothly with pre-ordering our meals. On to the day, although it was our wedding meal, I was still expecting a pub service as we hadn’t booked somewhere specifically “for a wedding” however we were all blown away by their kindness and how special they made the day feel! From table service, pouring our prosecco for toasts, chatting to the guests and overall being amazing. We were able to decorate the room and have everything how we visioned. We all ate from the set fixed price 3 course menu, the food was great we couldn’t fault it at all! Everyone had full bellies and smiles! Thank you so much again for making our day continue to feel so special. We are so grateful 😊

A lovely experience eating there. We were early enough to have the daytime menu of three course for the set price. Though not huge portions the food was good and well presented and with three courses more than enough. I had the belly pork that was very tasty and succulent and the other three had pies and chicken breast with all of them looking and apparently tasting very good. The starters and afters were equally well presented and tasty The service was very attentive without being over the top.

After hearing so many recommendations I finally booked a table for 10 with friends to visit The Nuthall and I was not disappointed... From booking the table with Carl and served by Joseph, we had excellent service all the way. The young man who welcomed us with a cheery smile deserves a mention too. Joseph was lovely, very professional and polite throughout our meal.. The food was presented beautifully and tasted excellent. My friends all enjoyed the evening we had at The Nuthall and we will most definitely return again. Thank you to everyone that made our evening so enjoyable.

The place is nicely decorated but very expensive for drinks. Food not bad. But if you only go in for a drink you can be sat at side of people eating. It smells awful. People can eat anywhere.

The Nuthall is very spacious inside, with lots of space to eat outside( weather permitting). Found parking very easy, around the side of the pub. The staff were very helpful, ordered the Sunday roast. It was very nice. The only thing that let it down, was some of the veg on the menu was out of stock and had to be replace with sprouts and red cabbage (not to everyone's taste). Would definitely go again.
