Beefeater in Milton Keynes

We regularly go to the MK Beefeater as we have never had a problem or a bad meal. It is always 10/10. We find the staff so helpful and friendly, Not only does the lovely food keep bringing us back but the staff, they really do everything they can to make sure you have a lovely experience. Michelle and Georgina looked after us on this visit thank you for making it a lovely day , especially for my 90 year old mum.

The staff are very polite and friendly. They have always accommodated our every need or request. Our breakfast this morning was cooked to perfection; crispy hash browns, sunny soft fried eggs, and presentation 10/10 The best place to enjoy breakfast.

We were visiting milton keynes and wanted an evening meal, we chose this place as it was local to hotel, there is alot of construction around it so it was difficult on walking map to find but we got there in the end , no one to greet the large queue forming, i had to find a member of staff, to be told "theres only me" ,it was a saturday evening, so should be more staffed up, we had booked, once at our table , we were offered drinks quickly, the food was the usual stuff for children , more pubs need to expand their childrens choices, on the whole the food was ok, why can no one cook a grilled tomato ? My daughters sirlion was gristly and she could only eat half of it , i did raise this with a staff member who apologised but offered no reduction in the cost of the meal or any free dessert as a gesture of goodwill......so 1 out of 4 adult meals wasnt great , this is a beefester steakhouse so steak is their speciality. The half rack ribs and chicken i am informed was good.......with plenty of other eateries in the area we werent aware of, if i was going back to holiday inn central milton keynes area for a steak, i wouldnt go back to the barn, there is a miller and carter nearby.

Dan and Aga made us feel welcome, they were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, all in all a very enjoyable meal.

Really good food. Excellent steak. Cooked just as asked for. Milla always serves us well and recognises when we need more drinks. Highly recommend.

We went to get dinner with my friend on Sunday and were served by the lovely Milla and Michelle. We had the mixed grill and chicken and bbq ribs. The food was good portions and we had our biscot sundae. I highly recommend the amazing service and staff at the barn, they are nice and friendly and remember us.

It was my birthday on 23 rd August and my daughter and my ex husband (daughters dad) took me out for a meal.. it was reasonably busy but we were served quite quickly and food was delivered quite quick

Came for an early dinner for my Mum's birthday. We were sat straight away and Dan took our drink order. Georgia took our food order, she was so friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the value for money from the daytime menu, food was tasty as ever and the staff were welcoming and friendly too.

Happy with the meal, particularly the sirloin steak and beef pie. However, the side of prawns was a tad disappointing – only two medium-sized prawns, which felt a bit tight for the price. Great service and banter from our waitress Veronica

Meeting up with my son & wiffie in MK & after last year's great meal we were happy to meet here. Service was Spot On again & the food was excellent, well served, plentiful & very tasty. The Barn is so welcoming, great good and a good atmosphere. I often take my autistic clients with me who they have gotten to know and they make an extra effort to make them feel welcome. We have made The Barn out go to place.

We had a fantastic time at the barn, we were served by Milla and Michelle. As we arrived, Michelle has greeted us and shown us our table promptly. Our drinks and food arrived quickly thanks to Milla which give us ample of time to enjoy the food and catch up with each other. Our Mixed Grills were nice and hot and in good portions. We then order a Kit-Kat and Biscoff Sundae. A brilliant way to end on a Sunday

We went on a Monday early evening for dinner and had a fantastic family dinner & service. Every course was fab, very happy and will defo be back.

Fantastic service and great food! Really attentive staff with a Great atmosphere, will definitely be returning for food again! Georgia my server was fabulous couldn’t fault the food or service in any way and the banter between staff really showed a great team working for each other!

Went for a quick meal and had an amazing time. Aga served us and was quick and thoughtful. Made sure everything was right. The food is so filling, definitely recommend the prawn skewer! There is so much on the plate. However, I wish they didn't get rid of the extra beef option for the nachos. It should be brought back.

Visited on weeknight and had an enjoyable meal out, made so much better by Georgia as she was a ray of sunshine and such a pleasure to chat to when she had time - she was run off her feet as the place was so busy with only a few front of house staff. Food was lovely (chicken crunch burger & shrimp skewer), sadly didn't have the creme egg sundae I really wanted but otherwise all good. Break this down into parts Our server, Georgia was friendly and helpful. Very polite and service was quick and the only positive of our visit. The place itself was the same it has been for a number of years now so nothing to rave home about The menu contained all the usual dishes as expected from a beefeater. The price is over expensive for what you get tbh and the quality does not match the price Let’s take the dishes that was ordered - ultimate Sunday roast - £17.99 - one slice of beef, one slice of lamb, half a chicken, REHEATED non fresh potatoes (not crispy as advertised) plus normal veg. Is it worth that price for what you get - no. Is it worth that price based on quality - no chance at all. Next is the BBQ chicken stack - portion size vs price - RIP off. Quality of food - middle of road. If you are going to use a big plate, make sure the amount of food served is suited to the size of plate. Sirloin steak - definitely not worth the price for 8oz and a bowl of cheesy chips - well cheesy chips as is nacho cheese sauce and salsa (not detailed on menu that way)!!! Who puts nacho sauce on cheesy chips - come on now - the clue is in the title - “nacho cheese”!! The double stack burger - mmmmmmm - not sure what has happened here, but they have certainly downgraded to what they used to be like - quantity vs price - pretty much like the BBQ chicken stack Overall, if we hadn’t had the 40% off voucher, then I would be leaving a worse review as the price you pay vs what you get vs quality of food does not mix. Shame really as this place could be like it once was but sadly it appears they have jumped on the band wagon where they are charging overinflated prices for run of mile food quality. Did I leave thinking - WOW that was gorgeous - no. Did I leave thinking can’t wait to return - no. Did I leave feeling deflated - slightly yes. I am marking this review as poor on this basis. Would I go again - only if had voucher to compensate for the quality of food.

This is great place for food and drinks. The staff and food here is always good. We had a money off voucher so the cost was reasonable as well. We were shown to our table by Michelle and served by Estera, both were pol1ite and very helpful. I had the mixed grill which was extremely good.

Absolutely wonderful food and service (Michelle was so patient, friendly and efficient as always). There were 11 of us and Michelle served us all at the same time, the food was lovely and we had the exact table in the perfect position .. faultless which would not have been an easy task. I regularly visit here with my friend, at least twice a month. The staff are friendly and know us well, though we have seen some new front of house staff who are yet to notice us as regulars! Milla is always happy to see us (at least I think she is), and always ensures we have everything we need. She's really friendly and very chatty and really a credit to the restaurant. The good is great quality and cooked with care, I know that whatever we order the chefs are going to make sure it tastes good. There's not much more to say really, you won't be disappointed eating here, the menu has plenty of options and is reasonable value.

I had a great time with my friend on a two course dinner, we had a wonderful time served by Michelle and Milla, our booked table were ready promptly and our drinks were regularly top up by Milla and she always make sure that my food were served as listed in the menus. I had the mixed grill and my friend has the chicken ribs combo. The food are excellent and we were served with our favourite kit-kat sundaes.

Very disappointed. Smell of toilets from ladies loos, the place needs a good clean and smartening up. Sunday lunch cold.. , Yorkshire’s small, stodgy and cold. Little pieces of meat and roast potatoes like boiled ones. Will not be returning.

We ear out alot but The Barn never fails to deliver. Perfect steak, Perfect salmon. Apart from the Turkish restaurants this place never fails in food quality.

We come to The Barn almost every week and it’s always amazing. The food is excellent. Staff are excellent, Michelle, Dan, Stuart, Aga, Jamila, all of them are so friendly, I would recommend it to anyone. The fact that we are such regular visitors says it all.
