Had a great lunch today. Food as always was superb and we really looked after by Katie our lovely waitress who went above and beyond looking after my mum. Many thanks and we will be back soon!

My partner and I had Sunday lunch at the Warbler and whilst the food and service was good, I was not impressed with the "old" cutlery and poor taste in Wine glasses. I ordered a glass of Malbec at £10 per glass and it comes in the glass that would not look out of place at a working mens club and was almost filled to the brim.

Service a little slow between but once ordered the food came quickly. Sunday options are great, really tasty. Really like the atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Wharbler on the Wharf. Food and drinks were delicious. What made our visit extra special was our server Katie, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely time, and even created us a drink not on the menu when our favourites weren't available! Would highly recommend, second to none service, very impressed. Thank you!

Lovely pub by the canal wharf. The food was really good we had 6 sharing dishes and it was all delicious. A great place to enjoy the sun

Lovely atmosphere very busy but didn't feel overcrowded. Food choices for vegetarians are very limited as they are geared more towards vegans, which is a little disappointing. However, it does seem the norm for a lot of pubs these days. The staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive

Fantastic pub in the heart of MK. Great views of the canal and marina. The staff are great and the service is fast and friendly.

Good range of beers. I haven't eaten here but I bet it's good. Right on the canal if you want to combine a walk and dog friendly too.

On arrival we were told to wait to see if our table was ready. After a few minutes the family behind us were invited to follow our server, an easy mistake but unfortunately a sign of things to come. When we sat down our server instructed us that we needed to be out by 7 (sat down at 5) as the table had another booking. Our orders were taken and drinks delivered. The family that came in behind us were then served their meals before us as we waited for an hour for our food. Food portion sizes are not large. The market fish (seabass) was served with four new potatoes and a couple of leaves of kale. The lamb shepherds pie had a very small amount of mash. Both tasted good to be fair. Our server returned to the table and threw the dessert menus into the middle of the table before leaving again. We tried to order two desserts but were told they had run out of both. All together terrible service, no class and poor management of customer experience. Will not go back.

First time I've visited this pub and what a great place it is! I ordered the steak frites and bbq chicken thighs and they were both delicious dishes. Really friendly staff too! Highly recommended.

Second visit here and it’s great. My kids loved the HUGE Christmas tree. The atmosphere is great; menu is good and food was also good. Children’s menu good - portions are very big. Sunday roast also looked good. Great staff too, very friendly.

Fabulous service - food was fantastic- the best Sunday roast all three of have had out in such a long time. We arrived early for our pre booked table and they took us straight to our table - the staff were all attentive and we didn’t get forgotten about. The restaurant was extremely busy but this didn’t affect the experience or quality. Will go back, and definitely recommend.

We went last week for Christmas Eve & had the set festive menu. The food was absolutely incredible. The pub had a great atmosphere alongside live music playing. We stayed back for drinks & had the best evening! Parking is abit a nightmare here, so make sure you leave with plenty of time to spare in case you need to find alternative place to leave the car.

Nice decor Parking is limited, so be prepared to park elsewhere & walk. Although it’s along the canal walk was nice. Food, ok. I went for the Vegetarian Rosary goat’s cheese tart. Sounded delicious, but sadly disappointed. Goats cheese was more like foam & not enough of it, tart was dry, could have done with more dressing. Friend ordered fish & chips & partner ordered the Plant burger. No one asked if we wanted sauces etc. Had to ask for it & disappointment that the fish & chips didn’t automatically have tartare sauce. Plant burger was expensive for what it was. Server was lovely, really attentive & knowledgeable. Wasn’t our allocated server that brought the food. For a main course & 1 drink each, expensive in my opinion.

Very impressed with this pub. The food was excellent - best fish and chips I have had for a long time, the batter was perfect. Service was also good and the pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Thank you to all the staff at the very buzzing Warbler on Saturday 7th Dec for taking care of 22 of us in the Nest upstairs. The whole decor was tastefully festive. We had the Christmas menu which was delicious. Special mention for Brooke who was very professional, patient, efficient and lovely…x

Food was decadent, local, and satisfying. Service could've been five stars; however, the attentiveness of the staff was a bit lacking. Multiple servers for one table were a bit much. Overall, it was an amazing time for friends and family gatherings.

We just had christmas dinner here today, the food was amazing and Josh our waiter was the loveliest waiter we have had in a while! So happy and helpful!The christmas decorations were so nice too! Thanks for having us for christmas it was amazing will definitely recommend and come for dinner again!xx

Nice pub in a good location with semi separate seating areas so you don't feel crowded in. We didn't eat but the beers and wines were good. A better selection of hand pulled beers would have gained the extra star

We had our Christmas dinner here tonight 20th December. It was incredibly busy but the service from Miles Nelson was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent as well. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Food portions are very small, they’ve been downsized despite a price increase. Very disappointing meal with my husband and neighbours. Unfortunately not good value for money. Lovely location though.

Great places to eat, the atmosphere is amazing, always buzzing, especially if they have a band or open mic night on.

(NEW CUSTOMERS BE AWARE PORTION SIZES AND PRICE FOR SUNDAY LUNCHES ARE NOT WORTH IT, TURKEY YOU PAY EXTRA) Me and my partner thought it would be nice to visit for a sunday lunch, given we have been here before for meals other than a sunday lunch what could go wrong. We ordered our sunday lunch one standard with turkey and one gluten free, there were no parsnips, carrots were tiny only two and the turkey looked like you could get it out a can from tesco, only received one pigs in blanket but as i had a glueten free meal they put in one more! the portion sizes were absurd! (Extremely less then you would expect). I mean you go out to restaurants to pay for a service to enjoy your time without needing to cook at home! Not to mention the price absolutely expensive costed around £54 for two people. There are better places than this. Although the staff were friendly and did provide on the house desserts I still think they should really talk to the chefs and not stinge out on the food portion sizes. I also reached out to management via email and they were looking into it but its been over a week now and not heard back. Really disappointed with the experience.

We went with our friends and had a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and food was fantastic.

Aside from the pub having a beautiful atmosphere to it, with gorgeous decorations; the prices and desserts were terrible. Not only is it shocking that a coffee costs £4.50, but also the desserts were cold, the sticky toffee pudding was cold and thick like a cake not pudding, and the creme brulé wasn't tasty. The prices for it werent great either, so I expected the desserts to be really good... Beautiful place but if you want to charge so much for everything, at least keep high quality.

It was my first visit here today, staff were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing quality and worth the price 100% the decor was lovely and cosy! We will be back!

My dad's 80th birthday celebrations we had a private room which was beautifully decorated. Staff were very attentive and our meals were brought out together and excellent food. We are booked for our next birthday celebrations.

Fantastic buzzy venue. A lot of money was spent to create an amazing pub/restaurant! The atmosphere was great but unfortunately I feel the food, particularly the mains are not as good as when it first opened. They look very minimalist, mains don't look attractive at all. They seem expensive for what they deliver. The puddings however were lovely.

Met up with friends from work, following my absence from work after the death of my husband. Warm and friendly atmosphere, with smiling staff. the menu seems to offer something for everyone and my beef burger and the chunky chips which went with it were excellent. Great idea to offer coffee and a mini dessert, just finished the meal nicely.

Nathan, Christie and team were so so accommodating when choosing the room upstairs to host my baby shower. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was perfect and the service was incredible. Thank you again

We went here for lunch. Sat outside with dogs, didn’t need to book. I had the best steak frites I’ve ever had, including in France. Lovely little bit of tender ribeye, cooked to perfect medium rare. Not too many fries, making it a perfect lunchtime portion. Sometimes less is more. Excellent, friendly staff, closely supervised by eagle-eyed managers who were present regularly. The place is very big with lots of seating options, including an upstairs balcony overlooking the canal boat marina. I look forward to going back. A lot. Edit: We have been back several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only issue is that the car park is far too small, to the degree we park at Campbell Park by the canal near the cricket club and hike in. Slight pain in the a…..

We came in for our mums 80th birthday celebration and our server Nathan was excellent - really attentive and helpful and even remembered my mums name and sang happy birthday. He really made the experience a good one and would recommend him as a server in future

Had a lovely pint on a sunny autumn day and watched a few narrow boats pass by. Bar staff very nice.

Nice location and facilities but portions are small for the price. The food was okay but should be better quality at the price point. For us, the broccoli stems were al dente but this led to them being very woody and some portions of chips were not fully cooked, but others were fine. The desserts were all very good though, as is the gluten-free menu.

Ice cream didn't taste like vanilla. There's no need for 2 fishes. I was already full with one fishm it's unnecessary. Just have one big fish.

Nice pub / restaurant. Due to the age of it and the style, does feel like you’re walking into somewhere in the US that trying to be British… if you go you’ll know what I mean. Meal and location was very pleasant.

Amazing food and service and decor and prices

Expensive and the first time I've had a la carte size gammon steak for 17.50

We went for Sunday dinner, it was quite busy, the wait for the main dishes was about an hour. Thankfully, we ordered starters, so we weren't left hungry. The steak was excellent, though the portion could have been a bit bigger. but if you get a starter (which was also really good), it balances out. The total cost was £70 for two adults and a child, which seemed reasonable.

Its ok just for the location and the facilities, portions are really small for the price you pay, and its just ok food, its not something that tastes amazing and the chips were not fully cooked. So 3 stars for location and because its dog friendly but very low score on the food.

We ordered some of the small plates along with side fries. Was very expensive for the quality of food. The halloumi with chilli jam came out cold and hard as if it had been left out for ages before it reached the table. The calamari was just warm and very rubbery. The pork croquettes were the best thing out of all of the food, but again only slightly warm. Overall I recommend to avoid the small plates, clearly overpriced and previously frozen. Worse food than a lot of the cheaper pubs around. Recommend the old beams partner pub instead in shenley lodge. Was very disappointed and won't be revisiting this pub again.

Attended for an event upstairs. Staff and management extremely friendly, helpful, kind and delivered great service and quality. A very warm atmosphere and meant for a lovely event. Food was good, only improvement would be increase the potion allowance and better mark or separate the veggie and meat options. All round lovely and would definitely go back.

A group of 7 of us from Enable Disability forum Buckinghamshire came to this venue yesterday. Kayleigh was our waiter, we were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, accommodating wheelchairs also those with walking sticks or different abilities. Every single meal was greatly presented , very eye catching, looked and smelt great, our visit was so good that I didn’t take photos,I ate the special which was Lamb & Mint pie with mash and greens, followed by cherry pie and custard, so tast, the pastry was perfect, the disabled toilet easily accessible, such lovely views on to the wharf, outside seating also. Thank you Kayleigh and the rest of the team, our visit was just perfect.

We had a family lunch here and was great, food was lovely, service was great. Gigi served us and she was lovely and really friendly, would definitely visit again!

I went here with friends for lunch. One of my friends has quite a few food intolerances and the waitress was extremely thorough in making sure the dish she ordered didn't contain anything that could trigger a flare up. I had the courgette & bacon pasta which was delicious and the perfect portion size. Our waitress, Katie, was very attentive and friendly and, even though we were sat outside, provided table service for us rather than us having to go and place our order at the bar. We didn't feel rushed or obligated to vacate our table and spent the afternoon chatting & catching up. Highly recommend!

Morden pub restraunt on the canal side. Good choice of drinks and a good menu. Our food was well cooked and tasty. Service was great and the very friendly and helpful.

This was so disappointing, I honestly have no idea how this place is rated so highly. Yes, it’s a great setting, and the staff are friendly but it ends there. We booked a table and were seated upstairs. We ordered a panko covered mozzarella in a tomato sauce, fish and chips and a roasted vegetable tart. We didn’t really wait that long but what came was not what was expected. The mozzarella was covered in breadcrumbs, that had gone soggy in what appeared to be, and tasted, like tomato soup. When it was cut into it unleashed a soggy cheese mush that made the soup colder than it was. The fish and chips was awful, over cooked fish in over cooked batter, smashed garden peas and oven chips. The old joke how did you find your chips, I turned over my fish and there they were come to mind! The vegetable tart appeared to be ratatouille poured into a pastry case. It was probably the worst meal I have eaten for a good while, and I did eat it because I was hungry. On top,of that we ordered drinks that never appeared. A truly disappointing experience that does not recognise remotely the high value reviews this place has. Truly a poor chain pub meal.

First visit here, really dissapointing if I'm honest first waiter who took our order (male) just really didn't want to be there or serve us at all!He also took the menus off us after we ordered starters had to ask for them back twice. That put us off ordering mains we then just got some fries and the little one dinner my fries were drenched in sea salt for some reason that I had to pour them on a napkin to take the salt off! Lastly ordered deserts and asked for the bill waitress came over whilst we were mid eating for us to pay. We've never had such poor service and it wasn't busy we always tip this is by far the worst experience and we won't be back such a shame as the building and decor are stunning. Some training on hospitality is very much needed.

Booked the upstairs ' Nest area' for a group of 25 for yesterday evening for a small awards event. We were looked after by Nathan & Lane. Both were friendly, welcoming and efficient when looking after us. They both had great customer service skiils not often seen in many pub dining establishments. The food was good and all our group were complimenting about their choices. Wouldn't hesitate to use this venue again. Only feedback I want to provide is parking is not sufficient enough - caused a few of our group to be late.

One of the better pubs in the area, lots of seating inside and out, decent beer, wine and liquor selection. When we went they had live music on. Very lively, suitable for all ages.

Love this restaurant at the wharf. Food never disappoints.

I’ve been here before for lunches with friends and food etc was ok. Going by my previous visits, I decided to treat my sister from London to an evening meal. How disappointing! On arrival there were 4 staff standing by the checking area and we stood there for a while to be noticed. After a while one of the girls looked over at us and made eye contact, I had to shout above the chatter to give our details of reservation. We ordered our drinks and food; so the food was paid for before receiving it. I ordered the steak well done and my sister ordered the market fish. When my steak arrived, I couldn’t believe the size of it. It was a tiny piece of charred meat. I told the waiter that’s not the size I ordered. She took it away and brought it back saying that it’s because it’s shrunk as it was well done. I couldn’t eat it as it was so chewy that I spat it into a tissue. To make matters worse, instead of it being served with the chips stated on the menu, I got French fried instead of chips with skin on. The small bunch of watercress looked like it’s had it’s day; wilted and inedible. Paying £15.25 for food, you expect to eat it and enjoy it. All I ate were the chips. I had to go home hungry. With this pub/restaurant being in such a lovely location, it’s sad that the food let’s it down so unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

Have visited the Warbler many many times, consistently a pleasure. Food very good and value for money. Staff incredibly friendly, I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Beautiful setting......what more could you ask for.......I highly recommend

Visited Warbler on the Wharf for the first time yesterday for my mums birthday lunch. And Josh our waiter was great from start to finish. He introduced himself, was friendly, kind, attentive, and genuinely keen to ensure we enjoyed our experience there. I asked him to make the afternoon special for my mum, and he did just that. A personalised dessert, and he rallied around his colleagues to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her. Thank-you so much Josh, with your help my mum had a birthday to remember 👍

Lovely location and solidly decent service and food.

We had Sunday lunch and it was extremely busy. As we finished our meal we were told that the table was needed in 30 minutes. The food was delicious, but the portions were a bit stingy - we had the 4 small plates.

The pub is in a lovely location and we sat outside on a warm (and busy) summer evening. We had a great time and the food was good but the servings were small for the price and there was a lack of veg. The steak (cooked very nicely) looked lonely on the plate and came with some chips and a bit of cress that did not quite fill the hunger hole. The order app was not working so we had to order at the bar. All in all a good evening out. Serving portions and veg need more consideration.

It's always a pleasure to visit the Warbler, especially on Fridays, as the discount on a bottle of Presecco is good as it goes well with their fish and chips.
