Turing Key in Milton Keynes

We eat here monthly for Sunday lunch so as expected choice was good. Service excellent. Beef was bit tough and potatoes were raw. Plates not heated so meal was luke warm. Bit disappointed but will have another try in few weeks.

We all had roast loin of pork, it was tasty but dry and a tad firm (it felt like the meat had been sliced and kept warm) not fresh off the joint. Vegetables were better!

I met with a friend for lunch and was very impressed with the look of the pub both inside and outside. Very modern and clean. Claire our server was very helpful and asked us if all was well, we went on a Wednesday lunchtime. The tomato soup was lovely, tangy and light and the steak nicely done. Lots of parking. Would definitely come again.

The fish and chips were delicious, beautifully cooked and served hot. A special mention goes to Claire, who was welcoming, helpful, polite and friendly. Our drinks arrived quickly while we were choosing from the menu, so well done bar staff too. We will definitely be returning to the Turing Key. Well done and thank you for the great food and service.

Went there on the off chance of having a meal, was greeted instantly with a welcoming smile asked wether any allergies and was given a nice corner spot. There was a wide choice of meals at reasonable prices.the meal arrived piping hot and veg to die for.

Food was great! Freshly cooked, hot and delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great atmosphere. We explained that more people would be joining us after we had eaten (we are part of the WI in the community and use the pub every month and we were shown to a table that would be would be big enough for the group) Such a friendly pub ☺️

We had a gorgeous evening meal at The Turing Key on Saturday 10th May. The fish and lamb were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were equal stars, being freshly cooked with a good crunch to them - very much part of the meal and not an after-thought as is often the case elsewhere. Our waitress Claire was friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Thank you all! We will be back! ☺️

visited with family for lunch. We were welcomed very warmly and i was recommended the sea bass by Claire and it was the best i have ever tasted and all of us at the table were very happy with our meals and the politeness of all the staff

The best ever pie was exactly that, best ever! Superb, lovely rich gravy too. Crumble excellent as well, only disappointing thing was only ale on hand pump not available. Served by Amber and she was excellent as well, friendly, efficient and helpful and nothing any trouble. Best visit here and look forward to going again

Excellent service from Claire on Thursday lunchtime. Efficient, friendly, and when I commented (to myself, I thought) that I needed a cushion to get my chin off the table, she was right there at my elbow in seconds with said cushion. Also suggested we get a bottle of wine and take home any leftovers - better value than individual glasses (reader, there weren’t any). The Best Ever pies were very good too. All in all an enjoyable experience.

We popped in to the Turing Key for a quick bite to eat after a long journey, we were welcomed by Paul who was helpful and suggested things on the menu. Amber, took over serving us, she was very pleasant and attentive. Our food was good, especially the sirloin steak.

We were visiting Bletchley Park and dined here before leaving for home. Arrived a bit earlier than booked, but that was not a problem. Swift service of hot well cooked food on HOT plates. Service was excellent from Luba. She checked back to see if all was well with the meal, asked if we wanted our drinks refreshed, and on clearing asked if we would like to see the sweet menu. We did!! Very tasty, just like the main course The Marston's Pedigree was well cared for, crisp, clear and tasted just like it should. All in all this restaurant/pub met our needs in every way ,and if we return to Bletchley we will visit again! Thank you!

This is a lovely little pub, been many times and trh staff are always friendly and can have a laugh and make you feel welcome. The food is lovely, only 4 stars for this because maybe a tiny bit over priced for what you get but no different to many other pub/food chains but still great quality and lively food.

Atmosphere - Great Food - Mixed Reviews Pricing - Fair Service - Okay Overall our group had a nice evening, everyone was pleasant and very courteous. The issues were with the speed of service, we were there 3 hours on a very slow night. Plates were empty for a solid 30 minutes and we kept asking the staff for service. Food was okay for some and poor for others, 3 medium rare steaks were ordered, all came out as cremated. Although, the beef sauce was very good. Sea Bass was over seasoned and overpowered the dish. Other than that, it was a pleasant evening and the atmosphere allowed for a good environment on our table. Just the food quality, speed of service and constant opening of the back door on a chilly evening soured the experience.

We tried ordering using the qr code as we had a 30% off voucher, however it wouldn't allow us to check out. But the waitress come over to check if we was OK and took our order as she was concerned we still had no drinks. She took our food order and said she will get it to us ASAP. The food was beautiful everyone finished there meals The atmosphere was calming and the decor was beautiful. Overall I had a lovely birthday meal out with family Thank you I will definitely visit again ☺️

We were here for my birthday and booked dinner for 11 at 7pm. We were an hour early but that was no problem and the staff very happily sat us earlier. Food was lovely and we were looked after well. Only criticism is that the sofa seat was a bit dirty with bits of dried food and the table was by the toilets which didn't smell very clean.

We had 16 of us go for a meal here and all food was pre ordered. Waiting staff were good but food quality let down our experience, lamb rump wasn't pink as stated on menu it was overcooked and you only get 3 tiny slices, roast potatoes were over cooked and garlic tasted burnt and the veg was well overcooked, 4oz Filet steak is tiny and again roast potatoes over cooked and so was the veg and mini pie tasted horrible and was soggy, on these dishes there was more veg than anything else and it wasn't even edible. Starters were all great and puddings were OK although sauce for chocolate dome was not hot enough to melt the chocolate dome. Also one of the mains didn't come out with everyone else's and we're waiting 10 extra mins for their food to come out. Lastly both men and women's toilets stank of urine, they didn't seem clean and were disgusting to go in to use as the smell was so bad.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. We went in to do the quiz, which we try to do every 6 weeks when we can, and are always made to feel welcome. Always a pleasure to return.

We were served by the he lovely Saharah she really looked after us on a Friday afternoon, 3 course dinner on a daytime offer was very good indeed, as a personal preference I would of liked the sausages cooked a wee bit more, but that's not taking anything away from a very nice meal, wine a little expensive in our opinion almost £10 a glass.

Fantastic menu offering a lot of choices for quality food, with great table service. Portions feel generous and the venue is comfortable and friendly, with a good amount of dedicated parking. Will definitely come back here to try a few more menu items.

Nice pub, first visit. Chris was really welcoming and helpful. Food was lovely and well presented. For the very first time ever I had a liqueur coffee that arrived hot and not luke warm. Well done Chris, we had a very enjoyable lunch and returning on Mother's Day.

Really disappointing. First visit, left for 30 minutes with no food order taken and seated next to an obnoxiously loud family. Decided to move to the bar area where we could place our own order (the QR code system wasn't working) but still had another 30 minutes to wait before our food came, after asking where it was. Atmosphere very noisy and not good if you're hoping to have a conversation. Very disappointing as it looked like a nice place and the menu looked good. Went because we received a voucher through the post but wouldn't go back.

My husband and I had dinner at The Turning Key in Nrwton Lees Thursday 12 March. What a treat! Excellent service and a very cheerful atmosphere. The food was delicious I had the crispy chicken burger and my husband had the fish and chips. Booth dishes were hot cooked to perfection and presented perfectly. We thank all the hard working staff. We will definitely be back!

One of my favourite pub restaurant in Milton Keynes/Bletchley. Got served by Chris, who we met before, he's a real multitasker. I observed him working in the bar, sitting customers down and taking orders. He kept himself really busy and he's very passionate about it. Will definitely come back again.

Booked table for 12:30 but our friends were running slightly late due to weather conditions so called to inform we would be slightly late, arrived 10 minutes later at 12:40. We were served our starter at 1:40, we were informed and apologised to that kitchen had cooked wrong starter. Not really acceptable having to wait so long as it was the first time our guests had visited and was very embarrassing for us. Starters when they arrived were very nice, Not impressed with the mains, husband had pie which was extremely hard on the top although he said the inside was ok, it really did not look appetising. One of our guests had lasagne which was very dry, we were so disappointed as a previous visit had spurred us to return with guests safe to say we won’t be returning.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Turing Key. Special thanks to Saharah who was very friendly and efficient and very patient with my niece who is quite shy.
