Beefeater in Guildford

Brilliant service by Jasmine, great food and reasonable prices. We stopped in on the way back from holiday with 5 children and Jasmine was great at ensuring we had all we need. Our food was prompt even though a table of 20 was also in that evening. 7 very happy people that evening.

Lovely experience today - both of us ate well. Good service Louise our server was exceptional- brilliant in the hospitality sector wish there were more like her ! Ok restaurant was busy and noisy but school hols and all that! Otherwise a much more positive visit than when we last visited this restaurant !

Really really happy with the all-you-can-eat breakfasts, where kids eat free. The place is not posh, but that is what attracts us, as it provides a calm, relaxed atmosphere, where we could not fault anything. Great range of food, to suit all. We have enjoyed it so much, that we have now been attracted back a number of times. On each visit, all the family have left full up, and happy. Definitely none of that feeling of being ripped off, which can happen when leaving some other eating establishments.

We had our wake here for my mum. Fantastic food what was put on for us all to enjoy. Will definitely be visiting again but in happier times thank you.

Great place for eating food was reasonably priced and just enough, we had wonderful service by Martin who was very friendly and chatty.

Have been 3 times in the last 5 weeks. Such an improvement in all aspects. The food really good, and excellent value. All waiters/waitresses have been professional, friendly, and smile. Food excellent and timely. Danni looked after us on the most recent visit, and she was charming.

3 of us went for early dinner as we had a 50% discount voucher food wasn't brilliant but passable our waiter served us a few weeks ago when the bill came we went to put a tip on the bill to which he said can I have cash as I don't want to pay tax I said haven't got cash so took tip off the bill I thought he was very rude but didn't say anything Tonight bill came we added extra for a tip to which he took our tip off and said I dont want it I will have to pay tax on it so not worth me having it. so rude I was fuming. As I told him I still pay tax as a pensioner. My friend and I complained to the manager who has his name Won't be going back for awhile

Fantastic restaurant, very reasonably priced and my steak was cooked to perfection. Served by Danni who was super friendly and efficient at a very busy time. We stayed in the hotel next door and also had the full breakfast. Again staff are cheerful and friendly and the choices on offer are brilliant.

This is our second trip, both occasions after a visit to the spectrum. Martin has been our waiter both times and I can honestly say he is one of the best waiters I have ever come across. So attentive, funny and great with children. Nothing is too much trouble and despite it being busy he made us feel like we were his priority, always had a smile and our girls loved him. We will be back and hopefully will have Martin look after us again! With regard to the food, it was so reasonably priced, the kids menu is very good and we all had empty plates at the end. A very pleasant experience, enhanced by outstanding customer service

It was a bit busy but not too crazy, when a visually impaired person came in with a guide dog. When she was sat, one of the staff attended her and got her drinks and various breakfast foods throughout 2 or 3 visits, it was great to see him assist that person so well despite the other stuff they were doing. I think his name was Louis? The only reason the rating is 3 stars and not 5 is those tables are sticky! Even though I see the staff clean them. Are they not being cleaned well enough? Strange. Sticky.

We pre-booked our breakfast here this morning as part of our stay at the Premier Inn next door. We both had a cooked breakfast which was fine, but there were no freshly cooked eggs available which was disappointing.
