Although short staffed, and operating a limited menu, we had great service and food and highly recommend.

Lovely little tea room overlooking a small stream and garden. Good coffee and coffee cake and friendly service.

This tearoom is in the beautiful village of Lealholm on the North Yorkshire moors not far from Whitby. It's only small with a few table inside and a few outside overlooking the stream. We just had sandwiches but they were tasty and well presented. There was also an enormous pot of tea! We were served by a lovely lady (who may be the owner) and would definitely return.

No visit to NYM is complete without a visit to Lealholm, stroll round Poets Corner Garden Nursery followed by lunch at the Beck View Tearoom. Lovely setting, excellent food and friendly service. What more do you want

I came down here with some work colleagues for tea, coffee and cake whilst working in the area. The cafe is in a wonderful location and the decor is perfect for its location. The owner is welcoming, friendly and polite and the coffee and cake is perfect, tastes great and is well priced. I would highly recommend this cafe.

Very cozy five-table tearoom (with a few more outside). Food is simple and fresh. Menu includes cold/hot sandwiches, soup, various tea/coffee, milkshakes, teacakes/scones. It is a lovely little respite from a walk. Prices are very reasonable and staff is very friendly as well.

Lealholm its self is a typical country village and the tearoom is perched next to the river so has a lovely view from outside. It's quite small so not great for big groups. There is a varied lunch menu and sandwiches come with nice salad and crisp garnish. The cakes are also very good. Reasonably priced too.

Needing food after a long moorland walk we parked up a Lealhom near Whitby. A choice of tearooms we opted for Beck View. What a little gem! A selection of home made cakes were available but I chose the home made mushroom soup with a granary roll and my husband chose a cheese/ham toastie whuch came with salad and coleslaw. A little bit of a long wait but well worth it. Even better was the price - £11 for both meals and a hot chocolate each. Bargain for lovely food. Only crtiiscm was the seats were very hard - a cushion would be appreciated.

We really enjoyed our experience at this great traditional pub! Everything was great! Good knowledgeable staff, very friendly! Lovely food and drinks. Everything was homemade, The prices are very reasonable. We really enjoyed our experience. Definitely we’ll return next time we’re visiting from North Wales. Everything was simple and easy.

First visit. First impression delightful location. Extremely poor / processed quality food (not uncommon with many cafes/tea shops). Very small slice of cake and eclair with equally small dollop ice cream, cup of tea and mug coffee cost £12.70. As with the venue people seem nice. Accept dogs (which is great). Suggest review and improve quality of food and presentation. Leaving a used cigarette ashtray on table not indicative of professional service.

The gallery has been expanded as a result of covid restrictions and the cafe remains closed. A large Art selection to browse Tea and Coffee is available.
