Excellent restaurant and Public House. We were looked after by Sara and Josh. We had a very nice meal and drinks. Looking forward to going back.

Poor food for money they charge service avg to worried chatting with each other. Very avg when they asking nearly 7 pound for a pint

Came for lunch with friends, bar staff friendly as always and food was great. Highly recommend buffalo fries and Katsu chicken curry. Even though the pub was busy didn’t have to wait long for food.

Pub was more or less empty, but still had to wait over 40 minutes for our starters (despite a reminder to staff). Food was poor and will definitely not be returning any time soon

Terrible a let down.we went over for Sunday lunch not nearly as good as previous visits.th meat the Trio was very disappointing and tough as not at all very well presented.The restaurant was nearly empty so I guess the word must have circulated .

Came here for a work party, and can I just say that the service was amazing. We had our own section booked out, we were very well looked after by the staff and management. Everyone is super friendly, the girls behind the bar are a laugh too. The food was brilliant, very delicious. Decor was all funky and the pub was very clean. Would recommend this place to everyone. Will be returning again soon with friends and family. Honestly, cannot fault this place for anything.

Came here on Thursday for the quiz and it was great. Staff are nice, quiz master is funny as well as accommodating to everyone. We had a tex mex sharer and that was delicious. Would highly recommend coming here for the quiz nights.

Visited Bear few days ago. Oh my god!!! Chef a tall guy hanging around the bar all the time so no wonder why food was horrible. Woman red headed manager so rude with zero customer skills and smoking every 15 minutes. Place filthy and sticky. It wasn’t like this few months ago. Don’t know if will go back again.

Went there to watch the football. The pub had a great atmosphere and there were plenty of areas to watch the game. We also had Sunday lunch which was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. The staff were very pleasant and all in all we had a great afternoon.

Went for drinks stayed for dinner. Food was better than I expected and Sara couldn’t have been more helpful and funny with it.

Absolutely love this place. Food is great, staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Just a beautiful place to have lunch. It is not overpriced and has a lovely selection of items on the menu. A bonus is that they welcome dogs too! Definitely recommend!

Had a great pie, table was very cozy and the service very friendly. In particular a young lady named Paloma was very friendly and knew very well her cocktails and they were all served perfect.

We had a great time thanks to Lewis. He helped us choose our dishes and was so courteous throughout. Couldn't have asked for a better server.

Excellent pub for sport Went with family for a couple drinks and to watch the Cricket world cup. Paloma served us our drinks and was extremely polite and professional

I visited here today on my own during my lunch break, only had an hour or so, thought I’d order myself something quick with a swift pint to wash it down with. I was in there at 1pm where I ordered a pint and ham egg and chips, well it was posh ham by way of gammon. The server was great, nice polite and very good, shame he was so badly let down by the kitchen! Ordered at 1pm and left at 1:50pm as my food failed to materialise! I was offered a refund and promptly left. How the hell does it take 50 minutes to prepare ham egg and chips for one and even then it never arrived, the place was practically empty as well. Been here many times before many months ago being my last visit and had no issue’s whatsoever, what has happened here? My advice is unless you don’t mind waiting an hour for your order to arrive, that is if it ever arrives then please make a visit, but if you are hungry and fancied a quick pint and some ham egg and chips, then go home, cook it yourself and you’ll still be quicker than this place, god only knows how long large complex orders take to arrive, again if at all. I am not impressed, and can’t even comment on the food as I didn’t get any. Such a shame as it was a great place once.

Went to this bar for the first time to check out as we just moved to the area, ordered two drinks and some wings. Had to beg for serviettes and the wine tasted as if it came from a bottle opened ages ago. I did get the wine changed. Wings were bland but atmosphere was better.. not sure if I'll return to that bar

Lovely looking pub and attentive staff but the food is atrocious. Sunday roast beef supposedly serves pink is browner than the muddy puddle on a rainy day. The stuffing is tougher than my leather boot, if I ever had to chew one. Roast potatoes are just chunk potatoes fried, at least it is crispy. Couldn't feel more sorry for the Yorkshire, wonder if it ever graced the warmth of the oven or nuked to death in a microwave. At least Ive experienced what cardboard with a bit of gravy feels like. Ps: need to trim your lettuce better

Has just been re-done! Very nice, and lots of parking spaces. Good food, was great, lots of beers + the other drinks. Had good time. Try this pub in crayford, worth a visit if only for a drink, they do light bite's too.

What’s makes this pub so special is the staff. When we entered the pub the staff greeted us immediately and let us choose where we wanted to seat. They were really attentive and helpful. The food was good and extremely good value for money.

We booked a table here for a work get together to celebrate Easter holidays and we felt well looked after. The manager could not do enough to make sure we was happy. The food was lovely too, well presented and delicious. We all will be returning.

The most unwelcoming pub in Kent! Bar staff & management rude & unfriendly (unless you’re one of their regulars) service really slow despite there being plenty of bar staff. Wouldn’t go back.

Apart from the good food and excellent staff. We had a car park fine, ( not our fault) spoke to the manager , who was very sympathetic and offered to deal with this. We are so grateful. We lunch every Thurs/Fri and will continue, in fact my daughter has booked a table for our family birthday's on Easter Sunday. Well done Bear keep up the good work.

Went on the 5th of Jan as we took my partners family as a surprise belated birthday meal and I can honestly say that everybody loved it and was stuffed by the end of it, & would go again. Brilliant food as usual from here. You get great value for money and the staff are always lovely and friendly and bending over backwards to help you in whatever way they can. I had our 6 month old with me and they made sure we had a big enough table for all of our stuff. I always enjoy my time whenever I go. The experience was just so pleasant, always looking for an excuse to go back :)

Large nicely decorated comfortable pub on the corner of one way system. Not your typical pub it Felt comfortable and female friendly. The staff were Friendly, we ordered via the app. Service was good, food took a while to come but was good. Corn ribs were tasty, vegan burger salt n pepper a squid was good, chicken less tacos, ok but the fake meat appeared overcooked, very chewy. Rosemary Salted Skin on Fries were good but Rosemary was very sparse. GK IPA not my fav but was ok and well served. Maybe over critical because we will be back.

Lovely place however there was a young ish staff member with long hair made me and my friends very uncomfortable. The way he spoke to us and my friends was very creepy, he made us feel every uncomfortable. There are many girls and women who visit this pub and has someone who works there who makes uncomfortable comments and creepy behaviour. This man should be looked into.

Had a lovely visit today, I was full of anxiety so needed a pit stop and a pint. Arthur was quick to greet me and poured me a neck oil, he also recommended me and my friend some tequila rose, which was very much appreciated ❤️ Excellent customer service and a warm friendly welcome. Thanks!

We have chosen this pub for a evening out with girlfriends and we loved this place! We hesitated whether it will not be too loud or busy as there was a football match watched on that evening but we were positively surprised to see that the place is very spacious and our section was in fair distance from visitors who watched the football. We liked a lot the original design, much more stylish than typical pubs. The atmosphere was very nice and prices affordable. We'll deffinitelly choose Bear and Ragged Staff for our next time out and highy recommend it. Thank you!

First class meal - speed of service magnificent - just under 5 minutes for 4 cooked meals - staff very good, specially the bar manager certainly will re-visit when we are next in the area .

A very clean and modernised pub, though a Green King the IPA was not the normal standard. The food was to a good standard from a limited menu.

We attended on 28th December, there was about 20 old school friends and test again the day couldn’t have gone better. Fast, friendly and reliable service, the drink and food were top draw and we will be back again.
