I was notified that it was running late, but 1.5 hrs for an order is quite bad.

superb food , hot and good quality products . can't fault it and will defo order again.

Popped in on Christmas Eve and was pleased to see the café was open but not too busy for us to find a free table. Service was very efficient, with my menus being delivered to the table almost as soon as we were seated. Our drinks order was also taken straight away. The selection of food was quite wide with a few Christmas specials. Our drinks and food orders came fairly quickly and everything was freshly cooked. The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous. Parking nearby is possible and there is some outside seating. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Food was lovely and was hot when delivered . However the food took just over 30 minutes more than originally stated and took over 1 hour 15 minutes to come from when it was ordered .

Ordered the pancakes with eggs and bacon, they forgot the maple syrup which is one of the main parts of that breakfast. I also ordered a milkshake but because it was in the same bag as the hot food, it was warm by the time we received the food. Everything else was nice and packaged good, just a shame these little touches was missed

2 stars only because the food is good. Service is shocking. They leave you sitting at dirty tables. Watch you sitting there whilst they serve everybody else. Took the waitress 10 minutes to acknowledge me. Then still left me sitting at a dirty table whilst serving customers who had just arrived. It's such a shame, as I use this cafe a lot. It's rapidly gone downhill in service. Will never go in there again, and no way will I be recommending it to anyone. Rubbish service

Usually I am really happy but today I got my panini without coleslaw and any salad which are very important for me.

I oldered an omelettte and i must it was delicious 😋😋😋😋

We ordered a full English breakfast and pancakes with bacon for delivery and the food arrived very quickly and still warm and nice. The English breakfast was super fulfilling and tasty with 2x eggs, 2x yummy hash browns, 2x slices of bacon, 2x tasty sausages and beans. The pancakes were light and tasty. I will be ordering again and I definitely recommend them!

Perfect place to have food have a great variety of food

Sadly missing one od the toasties, called to let cafe know. Was assured the missing one was being sent and it's been almost an hour now and no sign. Refund for this has been requested.

The food is really good. But don’t like the service very much. There are few things made us feel a bit annoyed. But will definitely try again because of the food.

Very nice large jacket potato & side salad, lots of tasty filling.

It’s was lovely but I feel that maybe should’ve had a bit more bacon in the bacon sandwich! Bacon and egg, 2 rashers fine, but just bacon I always like one more! Apart from that though it was lovely.

Our usual cafe was closed so we, luckily, found this place. What an amazing find. Delicious quality food, and great service. Will be our new place for a treat when visiting in Sidcup.

This is give or take the only cafe I go to eat at in the Sidcup area. Services is Spot on! food is spot on! don't miss out on there Peri Peri chicken!! IT can be busy at times but that goes to show you how good it is!

i will not be returning to this place the portions size for the price they are charging is lunacy. 4.99 pounds for a portions of chips that would satisfy my 4 year old child is crazy.

Great little find this cafe, polite friendly staff and food served hot and the wait was not very long.

Great place. Decent menu and Great value for the money. In a row of shops with free parking. Take out option and I believe usual food delivery services too. If you're in the area and peckish highly recommended you pop in.

Didn’t get a salad or that with my panini was just a panini in a bag.

I recently came across oval cafe by accident, I had a breakfast here, clean, tasty with nice thick bacon and good quality sausages, staff are friendly and fast service, the food and menu is great, it’s one of a very few places that have pancakes, which my little ones love, will defiantly become my local !!

Chose this cafe for lunch today as we were in area. Great choice, service was great and we were asked to choose a drink whilst we looked at menu. The waitress took our food order and the chosen meal arrived very quickly, it was lovely and hot and well presented. Great place,definitely recommended. Thank you.

First time in and what an enjoyable meal, we had the bubble meal & full English breakfast, quality of the food was amazing plus the service and coffee Definitely be back!!!

Always use oval. Always great. But for some reason this time my food was cold. Eggs ice cold. Maybe a one of. Hopefully won’t happen again.

Excellent all-round family-friendly cafe with an impressive menu range. This includes Halal meat options for those inclined, which is very much appreciated! We’ve always found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating, and appreciated the speed of service. There are also extras such as: phone charging stands, homemade desserts, a variety of soft drinks… I am abregular customer and I have been there alone, with family, and with friends.

We love it here. Breakfasts lunches. Always clean, great service and tasty food.

Lovely jacket potatoes but both of us were put off by the balsamic vinegar on the salad and had to waste the salad because if it this is a new thing for some reason

Dirty tables, argumentative staff and ignored when I asked for a table to be cleaned. Male member of staff tutted when he was asked politely to clean the table before we ordered food and drink. He was very pushy for us to order drinks when I wanted a clean table first. Cleanliness first please. There should be a hygiene inspection because there are issues.

Nice place with great food and a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This café is absolutely amazing and my go to for comfort food that tastes fresh and is generous on portions. I usually order at least weekly via Uber Eats however, after a particularly bad experience where Uber were locating me a driver for over 1hr 20 mins (not Oval Cafe's fault), I called up Oval Cafe to ask if they knew where my food was. They confirmed that Uber had already collected which obviously, Uber denied. After explaining that I was very tired and hungry (and their jacket potatoes were my favourite thing ever), Oval Cafe made me a new order free of charge and one of the really nice ladies who works there came and personally delivered it - even gave me a Red Bull to help with the tiredness :-). For a really busy local business, I thought that was a pretty amazing personal touch. I am a regular of Oval Cafe anyway but their service today goes to show exactly why their reputation is so good and they thoroughly deserve it!

Love this cafe both for sitting in with the family and ordering delivery for WFH days. Add hash browns to their BLT baguette for one of the best sandwiches you'll ever taste.

U just can’t beat this place, have had numerous orders and never had a bad meal.. don’t change!!

Lovely eggs, nice lot of salmon and sauce for eggs royal. Lovely fresh baguette for sausage baguette. Couldn't fault it.

Arrived on time and nice as usual apart from my eggs were missing. First time they've got it wrong for me.

Always great food. Sausages are delicious.

Nicely made and prepared, but ingredients are poor. Very very fatty Bacon and the Sausages were Cumberland urgh! Avoid the chicken piri wrap also, was so wet and not nice. Panini was the nicest item, but again Bacon had loads of fat on it.

Not from the area but called in here after going to the nearby school uniform shop. The service was great, food delicious, value for money and a nice outside seating area. Will definitely make a point of returning soon.

One of my favourite spots for a good old English Breakfast. Consistency is fantastic, service is quick, and the taste... well, it's a standard cafe, nothing special but based on the constancy, taste and service I am happy to give a 4.
