On entering the restaurant through a small door, unwelcoming staff, no interaction with customers or children, menu was okay, not enough healthy vegan options, would not be recommending too my work colleagues, friends and family, my words would be AVOID

Disappointed with our visit. Burgers were dry and bland. Fat is your friend. Buns were far too big for the dried up patties. The beef was not nearly seasoned enough. Wings were tiny and almost inedible. Fries were very poor. Cold and not seasoned. Service was very amateurish. No engagement or interest whatsoever. A real shame. The place is almost welcoming, but far too quiet. Crank up the volume.

Always a very warm welcome from the staff. The menu is simple but everything always perfectly cooked. The chilli jam on the chicken burger has some serious kick and is delicious. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great value. Highly recommend 5*.

Came here with the family and it was outstanding, burgers are god tier level. Will 💯 be coming back. Wings and fries were also superb x

Called in for a late dinner, as we had just arrived in Wells. Really friendly team, excellent burgers and nice choice of wines and ales. They introduced us to Wookey Ales, which were superb. Owner really knew the local suppliers and was happy to give some recommendations. Would definitely use again when we are in the area.

Lovely vibe, great service. The burger was excellent, the best I have had in a long time, and my husband's chicken wings were very good. Washed down with an excellent and reasonably priced bottle of Pinot. I finished with the cheesecake of the day - Jammy Dodger! This restaurant is well worth a visit for excellent reasonably priced food and a chilled vibe in the centre of Wells where there is a real lack of eating options on a Tuesday evening.

First visit -burger for me and chicken for my partner, second time hotdog for me and chicken again for my partner. Speedy and friendly service but only one other diner! Burger and hot dog not great and chicken a bit too chewy. Fries however excellent - piping hot and crispy. Excellent drinks menu. Think it's had its chance - unlikely to return.

We stopped in Wells on the off chance on our way back to Essex, to see the hot fuzz walking sights. We spotted wing Wednesday on the door and a being avid wing couple went straight in. Rich sat us right away and we had the Caribbean wing lunchtime deal and burger lunchtime deal with a side of mac and cheese. Couldn’t fault anything, burger was great, chips seasoned perfectly, wings a nice blend of hot to flavour and the Mac and cheese was actually the best I ever had. Would be back if ever stopping in wells and defo recommend. Best of luck!

Wings Wednesday! who could ignore such fantastic advertising? the classic choice of burgers / dogs and wings was fantastic… I went with the Sizzling Sammy (second guessing myself against a burger or classic hotdog) Caribbean Wings / Mac and Cheese, And two local beers by Wookey Brewers (highly recommend the Serpent of the Axe) the wife went with classic burger and fries, each dish was fantastic but I feel my choice of “hot” hotdog and “hot” wings was a poor call hahaha should have gone with classic dog (onion, ketchup and mustard) but that just gives me a reason to return when next in Wells… 🙏 great food and great service…

We went there one afternoon, wasn't busy but suddenly got very busy, great food, great service and reasonably priced. Burgers were amazing and the portion of fries was large

been here a couple of times now and the food is awesome. If you are looking for some decent honest and slightly dirty foods this ticks all the boxes whether it be burgers, fries, bbq chicken wings or indulgent deserts.
