BBs Coffee & Muffins in Maidstone

Been visiting,,some times Hot coffee,,sometimes warm,,not nice. Such friendly staff but it will go down hill if this carries on..Up your game ,,come on!!!!. One staff does lovely coffee so why not all???.

I used to visit BBs once a week for lunch with my mum and toddler son. This was my first visit since the first lockdown and I was disappointed. My latte had a huge froth on top but could have done with a lot more liquid to reach the top of the glass. My panini was barely toasted as was my son's teacake. We won't be back.

I Usually love the good selection of muffins at BBS but was put off this branch by rude staff when they served the wrong order. They should remember there are plenty of other coffee shops to choose from nearby

The person that served me today has a poor vibe coming off her , made me feel like my order was a inconvenience as it was a take away. I visit Maidstone regularly but will not go back to this one there another choices with friendly staff .

This cafe’s food is not too bad and the cakes are quite nice. It is a little tried but the staff are friendly and the place is kept clean and tidy. In a town which has little in the way of nice cafes generally it is passable.

A very nice mid morning coffee stop. Love the loyalty card which enables a build up of stamps so you can get a free cup when the card is full. A nice gesture.

Sometimes visit after attending Maidstone Parish Church, where I am choirmaster, for a very welcome sausage roll and coffee

In a hurry or want to dally? You won't beat BB's in the Mall. Service, selection and reasonable prices.

Chose a fruit cooler , pic on display clearly showed cream on top .so when lady enquired in front of the que where the cream was she snatched it from her and squirted the cream on top So when I ordered the same drink same thing happened to me .you would have thought she would learn as it was a prior order . She again snatched it up .and slammed it down.another more polite member of staff explained that most customers prefer it without .I then disagreed as it was not as described was up to customer to opt out .! Drink was ice cold like a slush puppy tasteless . Sat down with my drink same member walked past & I enquired about wifi and asked for the code.she then barked at me you just log on . Tried again it clearly asked for a code ,I again explained and asked for a code she completely ignored me. I then asked a young man who gave me code straight away much more pleasant.

Very convenient if you are shopping in the Chequers center. Service can sometimes be a little slow but never been dissapointed with the coffee. Good selection of Muffins to tempt the tastebuds

I used to go every night to the one in Chappelfields in Norwich. That was until one staff member (I'll call her Miss A) asked me if I was still a virgin. I am 42! This is a very rude question to ask a customer no matter how friendly they are as a customer. I now go to Starbucks! I am appalled by this after spending money every damn night for the last 6 months. After a week I decided enough was enough and that has put me off going back there. I recently heard the same person also took the mickey out of a customer for being gay. Now this is not on! How they employ people like this is beyond me!

Regular customer, exceptional service,great drinks ,flat white my tipple,very good range of coffee shop food but the clue is in the name freshly made muffins they are actually too good with a variety to suit all tastes! Very busy at times but well worth the wait,do not understand any of the negative feedback as I have visited hundreds of times and the staff have always been friendly and helpfull.Would strongly recommend trying this place !

Came here for a coffee and a muffin, the muffin was quite nice (and there were lots to choose from) but I ordered a caramel latte and they totally overdid the amount of syrup for the size of the coffee so it was borderline undrinkable.

Fantastic staff, friendly helpful .Best place in town and the coffee was great , and the pay their taxes in England !

The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. As a typical coifed shop it doesn't have The largest food selection but what they do have is very tasty. Good array of drinks too, hot or cold. I visit here regularly for lunch, best place in Maidstone.

Muffins are just the best. Most of the staff are fabulous. Delicious tea. Comfy seating and they never rush me but allow me to sit and read. A weekly must now.

Don't understand negative reviews!

Visited here in a Saturday at about 3pm. The store was exceptionally untidy. The staff were blunt. Coffee was fine, however my toastie was no better than i could make at home.

We had a bacon, brie & cranberry bagette which only tasted of cranberry & a tuna cheese which tasted like no tuna I have ever tasted before. The coffee was ok. Disappointing & not cheap either. First & last visit

Stopped for a couple of coffees whilst shopping. Queued for ages and the server managed to hear my wife say "decaff latte" instead of "gingerbread latte". No offer to replace and no apology. No toilets within premises either. Won't go back - will stick to Costa or Nero going forward.

Very poor. Small cappuccino £2.25 and cup only HALF full under the foam. Won't be going back. Rip off.

The lady that served us yesterday was really helpful but the lady making the drinks was terrible, my husband wanted a Americano and I wanted a white decaf coffee very weak no I got the same as my husband when I said what I wanted I was told I would have to have that and put cold milk in it and no she would not change it for me.

Called in today for a pit stop asked for the soup which was advertised with a baguette except what i recived was 3 tiny slices of a small one asked for a full one waiter said thats what you get but will consult the manager who then marched over picked up a french stick and in a very sarcastic and loud manner said you want this with your soup. NEVER EVER WILL I VISIT AGAIN .Soup was awful .

I decided to try this establishment for a second time having experienced poor service and a Luke warm sausage roll on the first occasion. Unfortunately this time was bad to say the least.One person serving while throwing a tantrum because of empty bottles etc from the shift before.This was at 8.35 am. Having to wait while the second employee pretended to be busy I was eventually told that there was no toast as the bread was still frozen! I reall y don't know where the franchise holder gets their staff but I would suggest they try a little harder.I thought that with BBs arriving in the Mall that Greggs would be given a run for their money but on these showings and it's present rating the staff at at Greggs can sleep easy!

Visited mid day for snack and coffee. Sign states cakes are made daily - not sure which day our coffee n walnut muffin was made but outside was hard and inside was really dry. +point =lots of walnuts, -point = where was coffee flavour? Mocha - could not taste coffee and americano was very weak. Looked forward to visiting this establishment since it opened but will now go to another coffee shop in the shopping centre.

I've been 3 times now and the coffee is great loads then chiappinis and bhs. The muffins are fresh and lovely and they have loads of gluten free options. Best cafe in The Mall by far.

Visited this coffee shop and was far from impressed. I spent £2.95 on a banana and strawberry smoothie which was 50% foam and tasted like squash ( as you can see from the photo I have uploaded). The drink was made by using a carton of juice and water! I was expecting much more for the price I paid and all I got was an awful drink. I have complained but the company don't seem to care so I thought I would warn other members of the public before they spend their money on something so awful!
