Beautiful breakfast. I especially enjoyed my veggie brekkie. I'm not a fan of veggie sausages or bacon so this breakfast was perfect. It was hot ( I can't bear cold plates) and lots of tea.

We had the most amazing late breakfast here. I thought it was a bit pricey at first, but when it turned up, it very nearly defeated me. Cooked to perfection too and arrived at the table piping hot. Perfect. Lovely staff too.

We had a lunch (family of 4) and ordered the fish cakes, fish platter and 2 x lemon chicken pittas. Food was delicious! Such excellent service. I have been coming to Bay View for years, such a well run place! Tables can be a bit tight but it’s worth it for the great food!

Popped in for lunch on a busy Saturday. Got a table straight away and the menu was on the table ready. We had a ploughman's, which was plentiful and very tasty, and scallops with a salad. They went down to the fishmonger to get the scallops, which were very fresh indeed. Service was quick and the girls very pleasant. A good lunch, unfortunately no room left for cake....

Visited today and had only tea and toast. We waited for ages before someone came out so not a good start. Staff grumpy and felt like I shouldn't be there. My toast was pale white so sent it back to be toasted more wasn't much...

Very nice place for Breakfast lots of choice and beautifully presented , also very tasty. Little gift shop great for unusual gifts. Unfortunately the staff let this place down very unfriendly and very sullen a smile now and then wouldn't have gone amiss.

We both chose the seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious and came with fresh granary bread and packets of butter. The menu was comprehensive for breakfast and lunch so I hope to return when next in the area. One of the waitresses didn’t smile which was a shame. The shop part of the tea rooms had some interesting local items for sale and well worth a look.

Went in on Monday for breakfast, the food was good and the lad who brought us the food was really sweet, smiling also.Only reason why it’s not a 5 is because one waitress didn’t smile much. Also small suggestion, we didn’t like the tea pots, stainless steel ones look like tired. We will definitely be back hopefully the waitress will be having a better day and she will be smiling more as she really had a pretty face :) the food was lovely.

It is always uplifting to find a tea rooms that caters for coeliacs so that they don't have to eat a jacket potato. They had plenty of choice.

Called in here after a bad experience at a nearby resort. What a contrast. Lovely couple, good and varied menu. Nothing too much trouble. Sweet little gift shop attached. Thoroughly recommend this place.

You can't go to Devon and not have a Devonshire tea complete with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam and don't forget the pot of tea all of which we had here, I also boasts a gift shop and so I bought a painting that was hanging in the tea room. Three of us sat down to tea and the total bill was 10.45 pounds.

I have responded to the experience questions despite a non visit. My message is based on the fact I was ultimately unable to enjoy the products from my online order, as I appear to be excluded from delivery listings due to the fact I live on a Scottish Island. Whilst understanding of the potential costs involved, perhaps the company could at least offer the option to the customer to cover such...something I would be only happy to oblige with....regardless of the amount David Wilkie Isle of Cumbrae Scotland 07488941692

We had to try the new Sunday lunch menu and we were not disappointed. Roast beef served with roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cheesy leeks and a proper Yorkshire - not one of those rock hard crispy things restaurants often serve. Followed up with the best freshly cooked Blueberry Bakewell and cream. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks very much

Not open on Monday, disappointing as had been looking forward to lunch here, they really need to update opening hours 😫
