Basingstoke Best Kebab House in Basingstoke and Deane

My order never arrived. I spoke to somebody over the phone after ringing 17 times. Been told to wait 40 mins then hung up. I tried again a hour later and number was blocked. Hang your heads in shame. Basingstoke best kebabs ? Basingstoke useless kebabs.

Ordered some kebabs from here as fancied a change from the usual Chix-Mex or Charcoal Grill. Told an hour for delivery, order took 1 hour 45 minutes (not hyperbole, they were genuinely 45 minutes late) to get here and when I tried chasing them up after the 20 minute-late mark, found that their only phone number (01256 333444) was an invalid number. Managed to get a rep from JustEat customer services to contact the owner (I was on hold during the call so I could hear the rep talking to the owner), owner kept insisting that the driver was "10 minutes away" (to save you doing the math, it was another 25 minutes before the food turned up) and when pressed on why the phone number was invalid, the owner kept just kept saying "yea, yeah, yeah I need to change that". When the food did arrive it was still hot, but tasted a bit - for lake of better words - plastic and manufactured, as if they were from the frozen section of a supermarket or something (realise this is an odd critique to levy at a kebab, the most processed of processed foods but honestly this is the best I can describe them). Wasn't entirely unpleasant, but at best passable and I struggle to think of any other kebab van or shop in Basingstoke that doesn't have this place beat by some distance on taste, texture etc. To summarise, I would order from here again and would advise others against it. You'll be lucky if your food turns up at all. If you're ordering a kebab for delivery, stick with Charcoal Grill. If you're heading out, stick with's Joe's kebab van at the South Ham Industrial Estate (near ParcelForce depot). Both are a billion times better than this, and at least you can be confident you'll get your order!

Just what I needed to satisfy my lunchtime hunger. You wait 10 minutes after placing your order whilst it is cooked in front of you. What more do you want? It was tasty and filling and it cost £4.50. No complaints from me.
