Tasty desserts. Few car park spaces in front of the shop but obviously in a site that has 10+ tables three spots isn't really enough. Enjoyed our desserts even took some home. Would visit again

Having been before a few years ago and had a great experience expected the same. However was completely the opposite which was sad. The staff didn't have a menu and seems uninterested. I ordered a waffle which was nice but the milkshake we ordered didn't arrive at our table. So when I asked about it . I felt like I was interrupting their clearly busy evening (lots of online orders I presume). I won't be going again I would rather go somewhere that has far better service.and make the customer feel welcome not a problem..

After all the fuss kicked up in local rag I decided to try this place. Waste of bus fare ! Expensive slop is the best way to describe the muck. I can make anything they come up with for 1/4 of their prices. The staff had no manners between them. It was clean though.

I don’t normally do reviews but can I just say I am in love with the puddings. I have ordered from the app a few time and always deliver when they said they would . And every thing we have order so far has just been delicious only problem is I’m gonna be fat lol

Ordered desserts using the app. NO DETAILS PF ALLERGENS AND NO NOTE AT TIME OF ORDERING TO CONTACT FIRST!!! Clearly stated on my order I have a severe nut allergy and no utensils to be used that have been used on anything else. Order came and had one bite of my brownie. Immediately went into anaphylactic shock. We were in full lockdown. I am a single parent with young twin children. Contacted the restaurant and they said the brownie was made with ALMOND FLOUR. She said she had seen the note on the order and made sure to use clean utensils but was too busy to call me to let me know it contained almond flour. Whilst I was saying I needed to get off the phone and await an ambulance all the manager ‘Harps’ kept saying was ‘what happens now?’ And asking me not to take it further. I spent the night in hospital. Had to find childcare for my twins and was discharged with medication for a week. I was at risk of losing my life due to anaphylactic shock and also at risk of covid by being in the hospital when the pandemic was at its height. Harps then spent a week hounding me and harassing me and calling and texting me asking to speak to me and explain and even come and see me! Thankfully she did say she had got immediately on the phone to her sister and they updated the menu to contain ingredients and allergen advice. TOO LATE FOR MYSELF THOUGH!!! AND SHOULDN’T HAVE TAKEN MY INCIDENT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. Turns out, after seeking legal advice and going through solicitors for 9 months that BARNI’S HAD NO INSURANCE AT THE TIME OF MY INCIDENT.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Was first told that they would not take my order over the phone because they were too busy and I would have to wait in the shop. Arrived in shop to be told she’s still to busy and I will have to wait for my order to be taken. 15 minutes later my order finally taken, 20 minutes later still waiting for one pudding! Rude staff, slow service!

Highly unprofessional staff.Don't know the basics of customer services. Too many workers running around bumping into each other like kids. Poor poor poor management. You will be lucky if you get your order on time. Never ever going back

Last night I ordered from Uber eats, as have been told to try this place! I ordered a cookie dough explosion and peanut butter stacked cheese cake! Neither came right. There was no cookie dough or explosion just a brownie and chocolate sauce over it where in places the brownie seemed burnt and was hard. We didn’t receive the cheese cake instead they sent a fudge cake. I then spent the night throwing up after eating the brownie! I will not ordering from this place again! And highly recommend people stay away from the brownies!!!

Called to place an order on the phone as online it did not help me, the women on the phone was yelling at me that she is busy and she will not take my order, very disrespectful and rude staff, never again will call them. But I could say thank you to that mean women I discovered Heavenly Desert does deliveries too! I would strongly encourage everyone to never go to business when staff is rude to customers

Well this was our first time here and first the app failed to put on new customer discount which was mentioned by a staff member on the phone before I placed the order. Never mind, if the desserts were good I wouldn't complain about the discount. The faloodas were terrible - watery, ice cream full of ice in it and the vermacilli dry. The ice creams and tropical sundae were also disappointing. Won't be recommending and definitely not ordering again unfortunately.

Amazing desserts and really friendly service. The chocolate taps of flowing milk chocolate is amazing - a must try! Price is decent and food quality is great 🤩

Kids love this place to bits. Food always amazing. It’s really clean and tidy and service is great. Can’t wait to go again. My son got given a fountain sparkler for his birthday and was over the moon.

Lovely desserts, lovely staff. So friendly. I tend to order from here more than visiting the shop and the deserts always come hot and beautifully packaged and presented.

I’m a regular and always ask to get served by the same lovely waitress Katie as she knows my order so well x really nice atmosphere nd great food. All employees are great especially Katie so bubbly Nd always smiling. Great visit whether it’s friends, families or even a date ;)

I have been here twice now, the first time I picked an order up and my crepe was definitely overcooked and crispy. I thought id give it another go as you always should but ordered a delivery this time. It took 2 hours to arrive and then when it did my food was freezing cold. There’s definitely better desert places out there - Ice Stones is much better and a bit cheaper!

Ordered food at half nine. Said it would be here at 10:50 then they pushed it back to 11:15. Still didn’t turn up.

Barnis Huddersfield is not located at the best of the locations but the quality of desserts far exceeds any expectations. The waffles are fresh and just the right texture. The ingredients are fresh and tastes really great. The staff are all very happy and extremely friendly.

This is a lovely new business in Huddersfield. The ice cream is delicious and there is a good range of flavours. The waffles are great. It even has milk chocolate and white chocolate on tap! It is bright and cheerful and the staff are great. I hope this business goes from strength to strength. Highly recommended.

A place for the confirmed sweet tooth.

Visited Barnis today with a groupon. We both had a nutty professor waffle served with cream and ice cream which was absolutely delicious!! I had a daim milkshake and my husband had a peanut butter milkshake both were amazing. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Just been to Barnis with teenage son. Great place for all ages - waffles & milkshakes are amazing. Huge portions and so lovely, we ate every bit! Staff very friendly & welcoming & the place is spotless with a lively, fun atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again & would highly recommend.

Hannah gave us amazing service, allowing us to get our order and just pay a little extra for the delivery she was very friendly and a delight to speak to, she is an asset to Barni’s Huddersfield and deserves a reward!

My first time ordering a dessert from here.. After a number of positive reviews from friends. The Mrs was feeling down so a late treat to cheer us up.. Ordered the fresh waffle with Nutella and Strawberries, and a Ferrero cheesecake.. Both came with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream. Ordered via the app. And received a phone call 30mins, from a team member to simply apologise as it was busy Saturday night. Totally understandable. Scheduled delivery within 1 hr, another call later to explain that one of the staff members would personally deliver rather than there usually drivers. Impeccable services, really friendly. The staff always smiling and genuinely enjoy working there, as they are so upbeat. Highly recommended. And the deserts are super fresh and super yum.

Kids love coming here for a treat after school, pancakes are gorgeous and my son loves the fondue tap.

Barni’s is an delicious dessert experience with great service and super friendly staff. Don’t believe my words, try it out for yourselves. Great place for families and friends you won’t be disappointed.

So I’d seen the posts on Instagram of this new local dessert restaurant. All I can say is do it just go if you like ice cream and waffles it’s a must visit.

I’m obsessed with the waffles from this place- they are next level! The restaurant has a really modern, relaxed friendly vibe aswell so it’s a good place to chill and enjoy some dessert! Their ice cream gelato is a dream . What I loved the most is since it’s an independent restaurant you can really tell how much they value your custom, will be coming back!

Been here a couple times now and just ordered some food for delivery since they just started doing it and it's just as good!! You can tell it's premium food and they haven't done anything cheap, the flavours and presentation are second to none definitely visiting and ordering again!

So pleased that this has opened close to where I live. Ice-cream, waffles, crepes, sundaes, hot cookie dough and more.

Had an amazing experience at Barnis. It is definitely one of the top desert places I have visited. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back for more lovely deserts. 😍
