Title may be harsh but i think it somes it up. We couldnt even unwrap the food it was so wet and the fish just disintegrated into mush. Completely tasteless. Shame because portion size was spot on. A few teaspoons of scraps were thrown on at best and these were pale and again soggy. The chips were basically inedible with the amount of grease. They looked so under cooked i can safely say i have never had them so poor and i have experienced a few bad ones. The curry sauce was nothing to write home about either. Maybe the rest of the food give me this impression but i have been very very honest. The food was not placed in a carrier bag to sweat and we drove only for a few mins home. Tried others in the area and totally different experiences. Felt so bloated and greased up we managed about half before skipping the rest.

Check your statements if promised a refund. Dined here December 20th. Very quiet at the time yet service took an age both food and drinks. Food average chain pub grub. Still waiting for desserts so explained we couldnt wait any longer and was told a refund had been processed as ordered via the app. Later found out that wasn't true and it has took three weeks and multiple emails back and forth to customer service to get this resolved - and by resolved they gave me just the refund nothing for the wait or all the time wasted with emails.

Had a lovely festive Christmas lunch today with my 80yr old mum . I had Pre booked are table and had selected the 2 course festive option for £19.99 each Either a starter or desert And a main . The table was set nicely with table cloth and crackers. The bridge wasn't busy and the atmosphere was relaxed with nice Christmas tree We had 2 turkey Christmas dinners which were a good size and hot everything cooked well , mix of vegetables and the turkey was nice and thick . Only thing I'd say is the gravy was all ready on the meal and it would be nice to have this item separate in a gravy boat as I'm not a big gravy fan and would have like to have put my own on .. but it didn't spoil the meal . Then we had warm lemon tart and a sticky toffee pudding . Both very nice I think it was great value for a pre Christmas meal Leyton are server and behind the bar was very a pleasant young man . Me and mum had a nice Friday lunch 13/12/24

It's wetherspoons. Food is not always hot enough but ok for price. Would be better if there was some soft music, but it's a cost saving.
