Bar Soba in Glasgow City

We dropped by here for drinks and dinner after work and managed to get a table quite easily on a Thursday evening. There's a decent selection of both drinks and food, which was tasty and well presented. The staff were friendly and the prices were about right. Overall a good experience and we'll probably visit again in the future.

We love this place . The food is delicious and the staff are very attentive and friendly . We are looking forward to returning .

Hadnae heard great things before going and sadly it was confirmed on the night. Food was really poor I felt, not horrible - just not appetising. The vibe itself wasn't great for what we wanted, it was heavy house music blasting throughout which is fine in a bar, but not if you're wanting a sit-down meal. We were brought downstairs to the basement level where there was no signal (they cannae do anything about it fair enough) but then was told to connect to wifi, which was properly bad quality. Was trying to deal with something at points throughout the meal so ended up having to go upstairs and outside umpteen times to try and respond to stuff. But the absolute worst point by some distance was the service - we went long periods with empty glasses, plates were left to pile up on the table having not been collected, two of our party didn't order a starter but got their mains along with everyone's starters (as a solution the staff just took them back and kept it warm), and while the staff weren't unpleasant, it felt like they were indifferent to whether we had a good time or not. Felt like the staff were a bit like Richie from 'The Bear' before the episode where he goes to learn about service n that. Probably wilnae go back

Cocktails are a must to try, (zombie) the food was well tasty and spot on, the staff were friendly and chatty esp Dean...we will definitely be back to make way through the both menus

My friends and I went on Saturday for a boozy brunch before the theatre. The choice of cocktails was good, as well as the quality of the drinks. The food was delicious, all 5 of us cleaned our plates. We had the teriyaki chicken noodles, pad thai, Katsu chicken curry and Katsu cauliflower. My friends were still raving about the food later that night. Would definitely recommend, good value for money too.

we had a great time.. our servers were so lovely and friendly the staff seem to be very knowledgeable and know the menus well. our servers were a blonde girl and a girl with blue hair and they made our night. The food and cocktails helped too will be back again

Attended as a group of 4 for boozy brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant was fairly quiet, cocktails included in the deal were small and tasteless, food was average and service was terrible. The waitress in the red latex dress had no manners, was rude and abrupt and made our group feel as though they were pestering her when all we tried to do was order more drinks. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.

Came here to treat some friends to a lunch out. The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks were alright, although the No-jito I ordered was a disaster. That might very well just be my taste though. Bar Soba is great for students due to the excellent student discounts it offers if you sign up for them, which we did! We had Dragon rawn Noodles, a Chicken Satay Rice, Beef Teriyaki Noodles, Haggis Springrolls and Dumplings. The drinks were the Nojito, a Thai Lemonade, a normal Lemonade and a Rekordlig Cider.

We had a gift voucher to use and took our new born baby. The staff went above and beyond and helped us with the pram. Good atmosphere, amazing staff and good was exceptionally tasty. Next time we will come without the baby!

Service was good but the food was below average. The teriyaki noodles had very watery sauce with not a lot of flavor, the dragon prawn noodles more or less tasted like the sauce you can get from packets, however the prawns and beef in these dishes were nice. The Korean popcorn chicken was good as well

The food was good but we had to wait for it. It took nearly twenty minutes for me to get the drink I ordered. I was paying separately from the rest of the party and the bill took a long time to arrive so I could pay.
