Arrived here with my husband for Bottomless Brunch and we were greeted in a friendly manner by Ellie. We were shown to our seats and menus explained. The ambience is lovely and we both opted for the deluxe burger with fries and rhubarb crumble with ice cream for dessert. The food was lovely and good presentation. We had selection of cocktails we could choose from and also option for prosecco. Drinks were lovely, and Ellie also served us and was polite, friendly and fabulous service. We didn't realise it was restaurant week when we had booked and although it was busy it did not affect service. This was our first visit and we would come back again. Thankyou chef's for great food also.

Good for a chill vibe. Great music. Alot of choice for starter and mains. There was food under the table and on the chairs which we had to remove before we sat down. The chips seemed like they were bottom of the barrel and quite greasy and crunchy but the burgers were lovely. And the cheesecake was 10/10! Basic cocktails eg mojito, margarita etc aren't in the 2 for 1 which was a bit of a let down and off-putting as the cocktails that are in the offer have various things in that we werent able to have. However, the cocktails we did opt for were great for the mostpart. The waitress did get my order wrong and spilt a drink on me.

First visit to Banyan on a recommendation for bottomless brunch - this area is reserved upstairs and we were shown to a booth where our glasses were immediately filled with Prosecco ! We were served by the lovely Josh who couldn’t of done anymore for us - first class, friendly cheerful service - he was attentive and funny - the cocktails were fab, the burger was ok but we didn’t go for the food - the afternoon was brilliant 🤩

Want a fruity, refreshing summer vodka cocktail? Get the BERRY COLLINS. Congrats to the guy who made us a matching pair of these on the night of Monday 8th July. You totally nailed it. Also great drinks menu, friendly staff and plenty of comfy seats.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been for a bottomless brunch at Banyon and this time was just as fantastic - we were a large booking so everything was pre ordered and paid for which was so much easier. Drinks were plentiful - staff super friendly and were always happy to order us more drinks even if we hadn’t quite finished the ones we had. We all said we’d had a fantastic time. Food is good too.

Food really good. Service great. Drinks flowed. A small mix up with cocktails but soon sorted Would definitely return.

Our waitress first class very attentive and pleasant, on the other hand £40 pp paid for weak cocktails and awful food we all paid the £5 extra for certain sandwiches my steak sandwich a ciabatta bun with 4 strips of steak which were not tender at all no sandwich dressing with a clump of rocket lettuce on top Very very disappointing save your money go else where

Cocktails weak, like juice. Watched the waitress make them and she didn’t fill the Measures! Glasses only half full so the 2 for 1 is a scam!

Me and the girls had a lovely time. Grace H was our waitress and she was fabulous, so attentive and made sure we got our money worth for our brunch!!

I went to banyans with my family to have some lunch the burgers were very nice and I would recommend ordering but the club sandwich I wasn't to impressed with the chicken was very hard which it shouldn't be also the TV was way to loud we had to shout to be able to hear eachother we asked to turn it down but they refused but to be fair the waitress we had was lovely she was polite and kind which was good also the food took quite a while to bring out .

Shocking service! My husband bought 2 pornstar cocktails, he knocked his tiny shot of Prosecco over (whilst paying at the bar and was told by the barmaid that as it was his fault she couldn’t refill. With service like that would not return. We’d planned to stay a few hours but went next door to the Botanist instead.

Never been here before and booked for a 7pm meal on a Saturday evening. Walking in and the downstairs was heaving, purely for drinking and part of a Saturday night pub crawl for most I guess. Upstairs had the dining area but we soon found ‘drinking only’ and the associated noise soon started to fill this area too. What was meant to be a nice meal for 2 became an incredibly noisy experience where food was consumed quickly and we moved on as soon as we could. This was such a shame as the food was really nice. The Botanist is next door and provides a far better dining experience.

Food very average- stake was over cooked I requested medium rare, didn’t send back as all of our table had received their food and I didn’t want to hold everyone up. Should not have to send food back if cooked properly. I requested to change my onion rings out for something else of the same price, I was told No. Management should really consider how to make the customer experience a positive one. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our drinks, but there was no incentive or suggestions made by staff/manager for us to stay and continue to spend our money at Banyan- felt like after you eat your food the attitude is on your way, we have no intention to extend your experience at Banyan. I would not recommend or visit again for food based on my personal experience.

Saturday morning breakfast for three, premises more or less empty so straight to a table. Staff efficient and friendly, no delay in taking drinks order quickly followed by the food order. A Shakshuka ordered which tasted good, very Mexican! A couple of poached eggs on toast and a cooked breakfast washed down with cups of tea. Competitively priced, would return.

Service slow despite lack of clientele, starters came out as and when rather than together, constantly chasing up drinks orders and whole main was missing from our order with no compensating actions to bring the group back onside. Overall a lovely looking g place but let down by staff organisation through front of house and kitchen. Will not be visiting again.

We booked this as part of a hen weekend for bottomless brunch. Upon arrival, we were seated upstairs in a really pretty part of the restaurant. Almost immediately, we all were given a glass of prosecco while the waitress (Neve - absolutely one of the best servers I've had ever!) went through the cocktails available and what was in them. They weren't the usual 'woo woo' or 'sex on the beach' - they were thought out cocktails that seemed to cater for a range of tastes. So cocktails ordered, Neve tops up my prosecco already and they bring the cocktails over - so nice! Then food arrived (we had pretty ordered), it was fresh and good quality. More prosecco and I was only half finished my cocktail when they asked for our next order. This was just on repeat for the rest of our stay there. Service was outstanding, drinks were amazing, ambience was lovely and I honestly couldn't recommend the bottomless brunch any more! Worth every penny!

Visited on a Wednesday evening, full of drinkers and lead right to the back of the restaurant through the smoke plume right at the front door. It was not a great start. Ordered a selection of tapas type foods… nothing made on premises, everything just reheated food stuffs… I imagine they’d give ICELAND a run for their money. The restaurant is more like a poor karaoke bar however with rock power ballads… seriously! Thé restaurant has no identity just a menu of stodge. Support independents which we do unless last minute. Wont be back.

We had looked for somewhere to eat & most places full or closed on a Friday afternoon. We where greeted nicely at door & shown straight to a booth by the window. Menu's on table so when drink order was taken we where also ready to order food. Drinks arrived promptly food a short wait, my pie ,veg & chips where hardly warm which made pie hard to eat although it was full of meat but dry. We where also shocked to find tip included in price. Read menu carefully.

We decided to go for a spot of lunch on a Sat afternoon after looking at various restaurants in the town centre. We were taken to a booth and placed an order for food we were seated at 13.50 and at 1400 a staff member came across to say that the booth was booked for someone else at 1500 and she needed vacated by 1450 and bill paid! I asked why this was not mentioned to us when we first came in etc as she was the one that greeted us and showed us to the table - I then spoke to the Manager who was standing greeting people and explained the situation his response well an hour is plenty of time to order and eat food! I pointed out this was unacceptable and there was no apology or understanding. The food came out at 1420 and we had to rush eating as at 1445 the staff starting hanging around close to us to want to clear the table! Nothing like pressure! Awful experience and defo won't be going back - customer service was zero percent and needless to say no tip was left even though it was not the waiting staffs fault - avoid at all costs much better places to go for food - we were made to feel like an inconvenience and I wish we had left without eating there was not even a gesture of goodwill given of free drinks which would have helped the situation - just want your money and then out the door!!!

This was a fantastic venue. It was hot as hell outside but the air con was amazing inside. The welcome was great and atmosphere was perfect. We sat at the exact time we had booked and the guy who served us was happy to put up with us and made it feel effortless. Wish I'd taken his name now but we sat at 2.30pm under the name Timothy and he was an absolute star. Thanks to him our time was a real treat. Also, the food was perfect so Banyan, we will be back and we will recommend you to anyone and everyone 🌈🎉
