Sinead, cafe manager, and her team always look after us well as we regularly go to Bampton for weekend lunches. This time we were spending a voucher but they sorted it out quickly and easily, even the extra take-away cakes! The menu has good gluten-free and vegetarian options and the food is always tasty. The service is consistently good and the staff are helpful. The cafe is light and comfortable, with lots of plants, of course! Highly recommended, especially the excellent quiches, which change daily in the specials board. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth noting that hot food need to be ordered before 2pm but sandwiches etc can be ordered later.

Lovely space with good atmosphere. Excellent quality food. The staff very friendly and helpful. Good service. Will definitely be returning. One of the best lunches I have had this year.

I was struck by the effort made by all staff to provide food and drink to the tables when the demand far exceded Well done to them all'

Had a gorgeous afternoon tea. Little luscious sandwiches, gorgeous scones with jam and cream and little bite size cakes with squidgy fresh bread and lovely flavours. Lovely attentive staff, friendly and chatty. Peaceful surroundings in the cafe with plants and good food- what's not to recommend. I will definitely return.

My friend treated me to lunch for my recent birthday. I had a baked potato and she had a quiche. I’m a big fan of places doing a simple menu then doing it well. I liked the fact the messy stuff like coleslaw and dressing came in their own little bowls so if you didn’t want them all over your food you can keep it separate. The service isn’t the fastest but to be fair it was extremely busy and all the staff were very polite and helpful. We then had coffee and cake, also very nice. We sat in the outside area as it felt a little fresher on a warm day and inside was heaving. Clearly word has got out this is the place to have lunch, and this was a random Wednesday. Would recommend though possibly not if you’re in a rush, but who rushes round a garden centre?

Had coffees, tea with tea cakes. Fairly busy, service was good. Drinks were expensive but tea cakes were very tasty. May have had cakes rather than tea cakes but none on show to tempt us, although on the menu. Don’t think that we would return.

Very good from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional and there was no argument when my two elderly friends wanted to share their order as I'd warned them about the large portions - the waitress happily brought a spare plate. No argument either when we all paid separately. Nothing was too much trouble.

After standing by the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign with other customers in front and behind, we all agreed to seat ourselves. It then took quite some time to spot someone to bring a menu. After ordering we waited almost 30 minutes and on chasing was told there was a backlog! By the time coffee and cake arrived my daughter and her toddler were stressed and just wanted to leave. Such a disappointing outing and the staff were unapologetic and disinterested.

Sunday 3rd March arrived to find Cafe almost full ,still was very impressed by service and smiles that were provided.Well done to whoever credit is due to and Thank you

Start to finish - Perfect ❤️ The service was friendly and efficient, food was delicious, especially my coronation chicken jacket potato 😍 No room for desserts but we will definitely return.

Feb 8th. just to say a huge well done to the kitchen and serving staff. today we came for lunch, there was a queue to be seated, the cafe was absolutely full. amazingly, everybody kept smiling and aiming to get people seated and served as quickly as possible. the food was excellent as usual. Came to Bampton garden Café for a drink and brownie. Welcomed with smiles and walked to our table, the staff are polite and friendly. My boyfriend had a jacket potato with cheese & bacon, it was presented nicely. Plate was filled with food, compliments to the chef.

Excellent cafe in a lovely setting with all the plants & mirrors creating a cosy atmosphere. Decent choice on the menu, I'm a fussy eater but had lots of choice & combine your own elements for panini's, baguettes & potatoes is a nice touch as normally I have to ask without certain bits. Quick, friendly service & lovely food. Generous portions left me comfortably full. Will definitely be back.

This place is so under-rated. We have always had very good food here and our most recent visit was no exception. Quick service from a friendly team. The menu is adequate for a venue of it's type. We always find something lovely to chose no matter what time of day we visit. Breakfasts are amazing, lunches likewise and coffee and cake just perfect. Keep up the good work.

Please be careful with the soup !! We waited 30 mins for soup when it arrived it was scorching hot my friend burnt her lip and it swelled badly. Shouldn’t serve soup that HOT

Service is great especially from Tara. Full breakfast was excellent, so good that it does not need sauces to enhance the flavour. The food is cooked fresh, so be prepared to wait a little while, especially if it is busy. The food is well worth the wait and great things should not be rushed!

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast here after a dog walk. Nice sausage and bacon and eggs cooked either fried/poached. Two slices of sourdough toast and generous portion of butter. The dog was warmly greeted and she in turn exchanged appreciative glances with two other dogs! We’ll definitely be back.

Arriving for a late lunch, we were quickly taken to our table . Tara was soon on hand to take the order, which was brought to us with only a short delay . As always here, good, honest food. The quiche are top notch.

This is our favourite venue for coffee, lunch or on this occasion, breakfast with friends. It can get busy… (that’s a good a sign, right?) but it’s always friendly and relaxing and we never tire of sitting amongst the large plants enjoying the food… which is excellent. We regularly have cooked breakfasts or lunches like three-filling baguette with salad or chilli jacket potato and we’ve never been disappointed. On this occasion Tara took our order. She’s always friendly and helpful. We recommend it wholeheartedly

Lucy was very welcoming and fitted us in just before the cafe closed, cake was lovely and tea was hot and tasty. A lovely recommendation to have the strong English breakfast tea too.

I have visited here any times. The food is always good. My husband always goes for the day's special menu, but I am addicted to the daily quiche. It is a nice place to sit and the staff are cheerful and articulate. We were served by Tara today and really enjoyed our conversation with her. As an older person I am grateful that the tables are sturdy and the chairs are not low or flimsy. And I am also grateful for the quiche. My family often meet up here for a weekend breakfast and the grandchildren are always happy to be here.

We visited today just for coffee and cake and received the same great customer service as usual from the staff. Tara who took our order and Tammy who served us always spend a bit of time to chat and make us feel welcome. Bampton Garden Plants Cafe is our favourite place to eat. In my opinion their food is the best in the area, they always have something different on the specials board. The plants create a relaxing environment and it’s our go to place when we want a nice meal, friendly welcoming staff and a nice atmosphere
