During a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks today my son and I stopped for a snack at lunchtime. He chose a ham and cheese baguette whilst I struggled to find something with no meat, the bottom shelf displayed a tiny lifeless mozzarella and something flat bread on a bed of ham pieces from the item alongside (costing over £6) at the till I asked if they had anything with no meat and was offered a tuna baguette 🤦🏻♀️ there was also a cheese toasty that quite literally(should have took a photo) had 1 teaspoon of cheese in the middle of the piece of bread! I declined and sat with my son and my bottle of water. Will definitely not go back!

Went I. For a tea and coffee and maybe a cake saw a massive fly crawling all iver the doughnuts so I informed the blonde girl behind the till about it her reaction was to open the cabinet door let the fly go close the door and leave all the cakes still in the cabinet after the fly walked all over them sorry but not acceptable totally unhygienic and unacceptable at your prices they should have all been binned won't be going back there again

Utterly vile, toilet seat broken, urine everywhere, tables full of unused trays, cups and finished rubbish, 2/3 staff in on a busy Friday is not acceptable coffee was ok but no sugar free syrups in a coffee shop?? 2 stars is being nice

Food was average but the service, particularly by the branch manager was awful. She was abrupt and rude when serving 4 cups of tea, 3 toasties and a fruit tea cake. There were a number of empty tables but all were dirty. Overall really disappointing

This is a clean cafe offering reasonably priced food. The swedish meatball sub panini was ok but would have appreciated more filling for £5.75. The coffee was ok and reasonably priced.

The food is nice, and there is a good selection, but the venue gets busy, and tables get taken quickly. But it's the service that lets it down. You have to order your meals in 3 different places if your family wants different things to eat, which means queuing in 3 different places. Why not have somewhere at the front with touch screens to order the meals? Then, just have collection points to pick the meals up using screens with numbers on it. This would save time and space as well as reduce the need to have 3 people at tills at 3 locations.

38 Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port CH65 8AE EnglandFirstly want to give credit to express cafe which I would hope turns around such poor reviews, it's not for me to judge either way only to outline mine and colleagues opinions of the delivery service for our breakfast cobs/baps/batches call other what you will. After numerous weekends of having their bin lids not once has there been an issue, delivered very close to requested times, staff no issue at all and we have tried most places in the area, pound for pound the nicest one currently. In terms of delivery/take away this is far from such a lowly score as it is given thanks all whilst it's this good we have no reason to look elsewhere

93 Hoole RoadLock malfunction. Terrible, the fire alarm horn around 2am we ran out of the room and realized our parents were locked in their room, we asked for help on reception describing what was happening while other people were running out. The response was literally a steady who employee said "so what", when we get to open the door and ran out of the building we can see another employee holding cigarette that possibly set the alarm.
