Click and collect team are useless. Book a time slot, never ready, even though you get a text to say ready. Complaining gets you know where. So will switch shops going forward. Worst customer service experience from anywhere

No trolleys at the front door. No baskets inside the store. Queuing at the till with only one till operator the way forward is not self serve. We were walked passed twice by a male worker with a camera on his lapel but no assistance was offered by him

Always fail to pack uber deliveries properly. Imagine not being able to pick up and item and put it in a bag. Useless.

This afternoon I went to pick up my parcel that I ordered online. Unfortunately there was a customer who accidentally took my parcel. The staff and manager with short red hair (didn’t get her name) were so helpful and tried to get hold of my parcel from the lady. In the evening Amy (one of the staff) even dropped the parcel to my house on her way home after her shift. Thank you sooooooo much for all your help and efforts. Pls recognize their hard work for the branch. They are amazing!

Ordered my groceries with them on JustEat. Out of the 12 items I ordered, they managed to not pack 6 of them. Went down to try sort it and the staff refused to apologise and said I needed to buy them again. Avoid this shop.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from a staff member just because she didn't want to be on a certain till. Get a grip of your staff....asda Queensferry is just as bad....train your god damm staff and make sure the staff don't speak to customers like as if there talking to their grotty mates on their break.

Don't purchase Roblox from here! Code didn't work so brought it back with receipt the very next day and straight away I got the impression I wasn't the first one with this problem and all they said was it's a third party problem and nothing to do with them ( although happy to sell them) now have a very upset autistic child. There really needs to be a minus star button for this place

Why on earth would you open your store for "browsing only" but not open your tills for at least another half an hour.

I have been coming here most mornings now for the best part of a year. I like to pick up some drinks on the 3 for 2. At least 2 out of the 5 mornings that I have come in over the past 6-8 weeks , I've walked straight back out again because the shelves are empty. Time to make somewhere else my daily routine.

Think it is shocking that there is hardly any staff serving at tills stock left out in the Isle area in the day it is a hazard there is never anyone on the cigarette counter and members of staff wondering round not helpful at all also commenting what you have in your trolley higher management need to be told about this also closing 10 minutes before they should it's not good for people who also work to get there and find it shut

Bought this 2 days ago. It wasn't until I got home, I realised it's 6 months out of date! Why is this on the shelves? *Edit* To elaborate, you have food on your shelves that is 6 months out of date. I am struggling to see how you don't understand this, Harps?

There was a male member of staff watering the plants outside with a hose not showing any consideration for customers who were trying to get past, tried to carefully step over the pile of hose on the floor and he just starts pulling it which nearly resulted in it wrapping round my ankle and tripping me up! No acknowledgement or apology then the same happened to another lady! Safety hazard and accident waiting to happen!

Good customer service everytime I’ve been there , first time a staff refuse to serve me drinks the only day I didn’t got my ID with me , was disappointed. End of the day it’s her job to ask .

Have just left the store feeling very happy with my experience thanks to a store rep named Mel (dark hair) who helped me to carry my items to the self checkout, completed the transaction for ma and even packed my bag. First class employee and deserves a great deal of praise!!!

Visit every week,get everything you need for a weekly shop, not many staff on tills ,but the self service is very easy to do,must be cos I can do it.......☺

The hot counter in this store is really a joke. A few wings, uncooked pizzas and dips?! Some of the items I tried to find in store were not available as advertised online. Limited selection in many departments. Surely for Chester there should be a larger choice as it’s not exactly a village. Improvement needed.

Absolutely disgusting experience with my 16 year old autistic daughter. Stopped at the self checkout whilst buying a £100 shop with two bottles of wine, asked for ID, then told that the needs to see ID for 'her' and said its people like you who buy alcohol and give it to their children. NEVER have I ever experienced such appalling behaviour in a shop. My daughter has self harm scars on her arm after struggling with Autism, to be looked at up and down for over 5 minutes, now she is struggling to leave the house after this appalling treatment. Lodged a complaint with ASDA to stop anyone else going through the same traumatic experience, and they have not even contacted me to apologise. Shame on you ASDA!

Some staff very rude and the hot counter is rubbish and the tills are a joke they have like 6 tills but only ever 2 open clearly cutting back on outlay even though the supermarkets are raking it in. They never stock the latest sweets ect unlike other supermarkets. Changing to QF

Absolutely appalling treatment from staff! My 16 year old lifted a case of beer onto the till because I have broken my leg and on crutches so can't lift anything. A very arrogant girl came over and asked my daughter for ID, completely ignoring me. I said that she had only lifted it because I am unable to. The security guard that was with her said that the girl 'needs to make a judgement call' then both walked away to 'discuss' it. The girl came back minutes later and refused to serve me with an attitude! I asked for the manager to ask how I was supposed to do my shopping if I can't lift.......she told me to shop online! Wow! Clean shop with most items stocked.

Need to change their policies! Did a shop including 2 bottles of wine. When at till asked for ID which I thought was odd because I’m 30 with a beard. Anyway got it out and showed. But because my partner (similar age) must have looked 10 didn’t have any they wouldn’t allow me to have them. Therefore left them around £100 shop to sort because I’m not buying from there with that nonsense! I provided ID I was buying what’s the issue!

Arguably one of the worst retail experiences I have had whilst in their Cafe. Frankly disgusting and abhorrent behaviour from staff members who are an extremely poor representation of ASDA as a brand, won’t ever subject myself nor family to such poor service, never returning.

Home shopping for the first time and I have to admit the service was outstanding. Recently had operation and the driver James was brilliant. Absolutely made me so happy by just helping me with shopping.

Member of staff in the cafe in the chester greyhound store was very rude to myself and my daughter. I was in the queue and she was so polite and courteous to customers before me, but was rude, blunt and snotty with me, her demeanour completely changed with me. Then I left my daughter (who is 10 years old and has a disability)sitting as I went to the restroom, I came out to find her not where I left her, when I spotted her I walked to her and asked if she was OK, she said no and pointed to the woman who served me and said she told her "in a nasty voice to get up and get out"! I was livid and wanted to confront her but my daughter has a very very nervous disposition begged me not to. I won't be stepping foot in an asda again

Not too crowded and had everything i needed

Absolutely shocking customer service which has been over 4 different periods all to do with either click and collect, either waiting 30 mins passed my time for them to come out with my order or with me having to knock on a door to tell them I am there to find out they lost my order and 2 times ordering home delivery for it not to turn up at all even when you pay extra for the timed service, and your told it's of the "3rd party" wants to deliver the order. Why on earth are you charging people for that service. Full time working family with kids going hungry because Asda doesn't honour its own delivery model. Absolute joke. Don't order from Asda Chester Sealand Road.

I was collecting my order for one of customers (delivery service). Member of staff brought me ordered products in broken bag . I asked him to bring me another bag . He was very mad ,but he went for another bag . New bag was definitely too small to pack all items . I asked him again to bring me another bag ,but he declined . He told me that they have not any more bags at store (what was a lie obviously,because they have hundreds of bags in store) . I asked him to repack delivery because I can't take it to the customer in this state . He denied ,and I was forced to cancel my order. Utterly shocking ! I am shocked of behaviour of this man . He was very rude and absolutely without any intention for being helpful . It is not the first time when Asda Chester Greyhound Park staff is rude and treat their customers in completely unprofessional way. You should be ashamed of yourself . Hire proper HR manager to make this place better !

Staff at self service check out are ignoring customers. There were 4 customers at basket checkout waiting for approval - the 2 females/1 male member of staff ignored everyone and carried on talking about a colleague who was in hospital in labour.stood there (about 10 feet away) for about 5minutes (not long maybe but when they are ignoring people?) Not the first time this has happened either & I normally have a lot of patience!

Ordered an online shop from here for essentials and it got cancelled they refunded me in 3 to 5 working days leaving me with no money to order or supply myself and children with our essential received no help from customer service and no help from Asda itself disgusted in the customer services provided by Asda team

I have had mixed experiences here, sometimes it is positive but some staff can be rude. Well stocked store with a wide range of products and options and good facilities like the opticians and the cafe. Pretty much a general Asda store. Generally good for clothing and options for reasonably priced house essentials.

Came here for the 6 bottles of wine 25% off. Great value.

It’s 6pm on a Monday staff are doing nothing when there was customers that needed serving at the cigarette kiosk and customer service desk, when asked was told there was only 3 staff on service when we saw 10 staff doing naff all… not impressed

Terrible Experience Recently - Went into the Chester Asda store on Friday at 11:40pm - Knowing full well that they close at midnight, no problem for me usually as I didn't plan on buying much. 8 Minutes later (11:48pm) the rude security lady was running around the store basically telling everyone to get out. So didn't manage to finish my shopping in the 8 minutes I was allowed to shop. Clearly staff don't care about customers or making money, I have never ever had this experience in Tesco, Morrisons or Sainsburys before.

Went to the cafe today and was served by the rudest of staff on the till, won't be going there again

It's ok not as big as you'd expect, the security staff aren't really very helpful, didn't give me directions to the escalators, the staff are a bit scruffy, usual asda range of foodstuffs which is fairly mediocre, very limited clothing range, they do have lick & collect.

If you go here with your teenage child (14) and try to buy alcohol with your weekly shop they will ask to see ID from your child,utter ridiculous and rude staff,my advice shop elsewhere,I will be in future.

Very good supermarket in the Greyhound retail park, on the edge of Chester. It's on two floors and has an opticians and cafe.

Security staff at this store are very poorly trained unfortunately.

Always get my shopping here via click and collect but not anymore. The service has really gone downhill items badly packed and damaged or dated that day or very close to it. Staff are not helpful. It is meant to be contactless returns but the staff NEVER process them. Vert frustrating and no one to bring this up with. Customer services is none existent in Asda now.

huge range of stuff, get lost in here for hours

The shop itself is ok. But why are they not opening all night any more. Me and the Missus used To shop at 3 in the morning and it was obviously very quiet. Surely that's what we're spouses to be doing (well that's if you believe in ithe virus, but that's a different argument) The thing is, less people shop in the middle of the night. DUH!?

Don't go if you're in a rush because they barely ever have anyone on the tills. One or two at the maximum and usually very slow.

Called to do my shopping here on 29th of Dec at 9.30pm, their rules say customers have to wear masks! but most of them wasn't, mainly young people, most of the staff wasn't either, we felt really unsafe! Only morrisons from now on.

Just been into Asda. As always found some good bargains. The one thing that i find here whenever i shop is helpful staff. Pleasant checkout staff, friendly, some have really gone to trouble to find what we wanted when we couldn't see it ourselves. Thanks Asda Greyhound retail park

Security staff unpleasant when I accidentally walked in the wrong way on my first visit. Store untidy, produce in the wrong places, lots of empty shelving. They all call you 'sir' in the same way the bailiffs do on 'can't pay we'll take it away'. A very unpleasant shopping experience. The young guy near the door offering hand sanitizer was brilliant, friendly and reassuring. I don't know his name. The other staff need to follow this guys lead when it comes to customer service.

We usually do click and collect here but on Friday there was no staff at the collection point and when we finally got our shopping 3 items were well out of date (one was chocolate which I didn't initially check the date on so I've been eating that thinking it tasted a bit funny all weekend). The apology we got was pretty hollow, they offered a refund but no compensation which is not the norm for Asda. This is the only Asda in the area that I can tolerate so I'll be switching shops now.

The staff take offence and call security if you ask to check if any of your items were scanned twice, very rude staff, require better training

Shopped there this morning staff could not do enough for you very helpful and polite,

Very poor. No discipline of self distancing. At least 30 people queuing to pay. It took over an hour to reach the only two checkouts that were operating. Also a customer opened numerous bottles of fabric softener and sniffed each before returning to them to the shelf. Staff ignored any non conformity. Will not go again.

I was shopping for my family my daughter was in the trolley when I got to the self scan tills I asked if it was okay to and get something I had forgotten one of the colleagues said Dont leave your daughter there which I absolutely disgusted by what she said , I would never leave my daughter and when I got back with the item I had forgotten she said all over my order had to be all scanned again. Her customer service is appalling she could easily taken my shopping to customer service till where they could of printed my bill and the extra item so I didn't need to put the order through again. Absolutely shocking good job I wasnt a mystery guest 100% happy to help definitely not.

My preferred place to shop over the local competitors. Nice stuff, especially the pizzas and cooked chickens at the most competitive prices with everything I need in one shop. Staff are really helpful and friendly as well.

Fantastic offers , used to shop at Tesco but now this is the store for me. Well done management and staff .your all doing a fab job 😀. A Supermarket on 2 levels, plenty of staff to help and assist when needed. On ground floor food, fresh fish, pizza counter, cooked chickens & bakery. Children's toys,books and household products. First floor clothing, make up & toiletries, also has an opticians& cafe. Large car park with disabled parking in front of store. Plenty of trollies & baskets available.

Excellent service at the Opticians and at least 70% cheaper than the best-advertised opticians. I’ve told all my friends/ family, and they will all be checking out Asda when their prescriptions are due. Very pleased.

A terrible click and collect service. We turned up before our allocated time and told we were too late and the member of staff actually drove off and left my husband standing in the car park! We won’t be using them again!

Pedimos tres comidas. Nos prometieron repartir en 15 minutos, pero tardamos 35 minutos. Muy pocos cubiertos en el caddy, y lo que había allí estaba sucio.
