I ordered a pork roll with apple sauce and crackling. The crackling was a tiny square and the apple sauce was merely a smear. I ordered a latte and my wife ordered an Americano, I forgot which was which so tasted each and couldn't tell the difference. We both left our coffees and went to Coffee #1 for a decent cuppa. Shame

Looks like this is a popular place to eat. What I don't like is the constantly burning gas heater at one of the tables. This is just producing greenhouse gas! If people want to keep warm...put on a jumper. Come on TJP, there is a global warming crisis...do your bit to help!

Ordered a cheese & coleslaw jacket from here. The potatoes are lovely but the filling could be better. The proportion of both fillings should be 50/50. I had 80/20 cheese/coleslaw. The amount of cheese was a bit overpowering and needed less cheese and more coleslaw. The lady serving didn't seem happy in her job and it showed.

I come here for most lunchtimes now, the jacket potatoes are well cooked and the toppings come by the scoopfull. The value is pretty reasonable, just remember to bring cash as I don't believe cards are accepted.

Had the chilli potato. Got what I expected. Food fine. Price good. Perhaps it was late at lunchtime and everyone was tired, but I felt the staff were oddly short with me; they'd been good with the customer before me and I'd been patient in waiting and polite in ordering. Odd. Still, I'd give them another go. The rest of my party chose to go for pasties.

My favourite place to stop for lunch when I’m shopping in Hereford. The jacket potatoes are delicious, and they always come with a generous helping of fillings. Great value for money!

Me and my partner take a 'heated' seat at this jacket potato stand every time we go into town to do some shopping. Ive been for food everywhere in Hereford as I visit often, and honestly I haven't found anywhere else in town that is as satisfying in price, taste or atmosphere.

Dinner spud is the best meal in town. Rather eat here than most places. Good value too. Good range of food available for sitting or taking away. But I recommend the dinner spud if not tried.

The potatoes are great and the portions are nice and big. I especially love the chilli. The addition of the salad boxes is really nice. Would be 5 stars but the quality has definitely declined over the last year.

Great place to get hot food on the go in Hereford. Have there own seating area in the middle of Hereford city centre. The jacket potatoes are around £3.50 and have gone up over the year but I feel you get value for money as they are generous with the fillings.

We were staying on the Malvern View Country and Leisure Park for a weekend stay which we could not fault. However, we dined at The Old Barnhouse on the Saturday evening and unfortunately the food was terrible. We waited for nearly an hour and when the food arrived it was half cold. My mother and father had scampi and chips, no peas and they were out of tartare sauce! My sister and I had the New Yorker chicken which consisted of a huge portion of coleslaw that wasn’t very nice and the chicken was small and if poor quality. My daughter had a kids pizza, chips and beans which was just about acceptable. The five meals and a round of drinks came to over £80 which was appalling for the quality of the food. Avoid The Old Barnhouse for food! Pleasant enough for a drink.

Rude, extremely disappointing, shocking and disrespectful staff! We arrived after making a booking the day before. I booked 2 Adults, 1 child aged 2. The booking itself was pleasant. We got slightly lost, rang in and again very pleasant. Arrived 7 minutes late and walked into a very ‘local’ pub feel. All eyes on us. We were told by the bar person that they were glad we found them. A woman appeared and looked at my Grandson and commented ‘we don’t have highchairs’ I commented that I’d booked ahead with a child on the booking? She said she would go down in the cellar and dust something suitable to bring up then asked me if I had a chair in my car???!!!! We approached the bar and I said I was confused as I’d booked a child ahead of coming. I was ignored, I said once again and the younger woman behind the bar looked at me and in a slightly raised voice utttered ‘well, yes she’s gone to get you something hasn’t she!!’ Based on this experience I told my Friend we were leaving as being treated like this was way beyond acceptable. I wasn’t happy and I let it be known! My Friend and I were left shocked and felt we had been treated appallingly by 2 extremely rude women. Whilst we were putting my Grandson in the car the older women came out and further patronised us with her offering of a dusted off cellar chair and we told her that her colleague was vile and it had gone beyond the chair. She walked off. Having read through the reviews I can see hands have changed and so this may be why I didn’t receive the reputation I had heard of. I have the feeling they felt they were above us! I’m not easily impressed so their Morgan cars and gold large Baroque chairs only further deepens my suspicions that they think they’re better 🤣🤣
