Lovely coffee shop, fresh made tuna baguette and a cup of tea for less than £5 us unheard of these days. Friendly staff and nice seating area upstairs

We went recently for breakfast and chose breakfast muffins. Very good, toast and preserves also tasted great. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food. Spotlessly clean and thoroughly cleaned/ sanitized after every customer. Lovely staff and good seating options. Accessible for disabled and would definitely go again!! ☕️

Sally and her crew supply fantastic service and during this pandemic have continued to serve fantastic takeaway food , drinks and delicious cakes. Popped in today and they have a great selection of homemade gifts, cushions, children’s knitted cardigans, face masks, and a whole variety of great things. If you want a little something for a friend or relative this Christmas pop in and have a look, it’s like being at a craft fair that we are missing this year. Support your local independent shops or we will lose them.

This morning I went in to Bailey's coffee shop for a coffee which is always good the staff are friendly and the place is nice and clean if you want coffee or bite to eat I recommend Bailey's

We called into Bailey's on Thursday after searching Trip Advisor for good local cafes and this one came up as #2. There seemed to be a really steady trade here at 11am and although not full, they are obviously very popular. Price was reasonable and our roasties were plentiful with a choice if mugs or cups for our tea. My mum liked the mugs and they were still pretty! Ladies working there were friendly and my mum even said she thought it seemed like a nice place to work. Prices good, staff good, food good! 👌

Stopped in for a quick lunch with the husband and found a new favourite!! Chicken and veg soup was delicious and hubby really enjoyed his jacket potato :) Friendly service and good prices - we'll be back!!

La cafetería y el bar sandwich es un lugar relajante para descansar y tener una natter a cualquier hora del día. El propietario y el personal son muy atentos. Ahora hay una zona donde fiestas reserva arriba, etc. se pueden arreglar.

I've been to this cafe with children and they are lovely people. Very attentive, they remembered that the 7 year old liked cross words so they gave him a couple to do.The Alice in wonderland area upstairs has been done to a high standard and if you are bringing children I recommend going upstairs. Food done to a high standard and are generous with the size of the meals.

This is our family's choice of café in our town. The service is personal, friendly and polite, the food fresh and the welcome warm. We try to get here at least once a week (Fruitcake Friday!) but often more. My daughter also had her Afternoon Tea Party in the Alice in Wonderland themed room upstairs, which was well catered for and made for a different experience. Thank you Baileys :-)

I have been to Bailey's on a few occasions but for some reason haven't reviewed it in the past. The food here is always fresh and well presented. Today we both had the Chicken & Vegetable soup with a warm baguette. Some of the soups are proprietary brands but we opted for the home made version. Made in-house by the staff this soup was thick, delicious and full of fresh chopped vegetables. Portion sizes are excellent so you won't leave feeling hungry. Don't be put off by the lack of tables. There is plenty of space both upstairs and in the garden in good weather. The cafe is spotless and owner Sally Bailey has various tributes to her family on the walls including her late Dad & 3 of her great uncles who were all killed in WWI. This Cafe is well worth a visit if you are in Sittingbourne.

Needed somewhere to eat for a quick bite in Sittingbourne and found this lovely place. Really good service and lovely food prawn baguette just over 3 pounds .

I've only been in here a few times but my wife uses it all the time. Great food at very reasonable prices and great service from everyone there. Well recommended.

This little coffee and sandwich shop was very clean with a lovely selection of salads, sandwich fillings and cakes. My friend and I visited for breakfast and had scrabbled egg on toast and coffee If you are looking for a fry up then this is not the place for you. The owner is a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We visited the following morning and had a perfectly cooked poached egg to set us up for the morning.

What a lovely cafe. Lots of nice things to choose from. Staff helpful and food very nice. Seems to be busy. Clean and tidy will definitely be coming back. Just have to finish my sandwich first. A must visit.

Once again we have been to this lovely and friendly coffee shop where we are always made so welcome. The food and drink we had, jacket potato, sandwiches and a large baguette, cups of tea and some latte's was extremely well prepared and looked too good to eat. They have now opened an upstairs part so you can sit and eat and drink in a very comfortable and relaxing way. As we left I noticed in there window they had just been issued a 5 Star Food & Hygiene Certificate, so well done Baileys you deserve it.

Well I was just passing through Sittingbourne just after lunch and after a quick look on trip adviser, Bailey's coffee shop and Sandwich Bar seemed the place to be.And how the reviews truly reflect this place! It deserves it's 5 stars; fresh and wide selection of fillings for the sandwiches. Although I didn't have one of the flavours, I had some lovely, proper ham and fresh salad. Now being a milkshake fan and seeing they offered them... It would've been rude not to try one! A lovely and polite young girl made an amazing milkshake and if in the area again I shall at least pop in for one of these! An all in all friendly shop, with a variety of lunch time food and it's good if you're counting the pennies!

Place was clean and cute. Coffee was the best of the best. But the sweetest of all was Nikki and Emily. There welcoming words and fun personalities. This is a must visit Coffee shop.

Lovely friendly staff, with a pretty courtyard garden and now with an amazing mural on the wall. Had a lovely lunch, nice fresh food. it's a great place to sit and natter with friends. Highly recommended.

Prawn baguettes are to die for! Lovely crusty bread plenty of prawns and crisp fresh salad and always made while you wait

You feel at home and very comfortable when you enter this coffee shop. Everyone has the time if day for you.

I would recommend this place for a lunch, I had jacket and coronation chicken, asked if I wanted salad, the salad came with it was so colourful and well presented. From the outside it looks like a sandwich bar, but it is a lovely friendly welcoming place to eat a snack and have a coffee.

Been here a few times now and always leave very satisfied! Great service with a smile, the coffee is superb and they really know what they are doing. Have eaten in the past and Baguette was very fresh and tasty. I only work across the road so I will definitely be popping in for a coffee regularly! Thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I visited on Saturday 21st and were delighted not to be disappointed after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. The food is so fresh, the staff are charming. A real little Star

I was not disappointed after consulting Trip Advisor before setting off for Sittingbourne. Once I would have headed for the Wimpy but it is no more. Although not providing cooked lunches, the café has varieties of soup, paninis , or sandwiches made to order, that can be toasted. The latter come with crisps. Several cakes and a fridge with cold drinks can be varied on the coffee drinking visit. There is a garden but obviously not in use on a near zero day, and well kept toilets. The main problem for a large person is getting enough knee room, or rising out of several sofas! Staff were friendly and interested in your visit and home town. They watchfully supplied the next course and then more take away customers arrived after midday. Could be a full houses, but mainly locals as tourism is limited here

I popped in one day in cold december and had a latte with a bacon panini.Tasted great. It is a tiny place but very nice service.

I use this cafe on a regular occurrence and the staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and always have time to make sure you are satisfied with the experience, could not say a bad word about them. The food they offer is amazing and always top quality. Will recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice lunch out business or pleasure. Give it a try :):)

Popped in while passing for a cup of tea. Was not expecting much, but most pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the price and the staff. Will return!

I had a lovely tall cup of Latte coffee at Baileys Coffee shop & Sandwich Bar. I went in on a Saturday and outside they had set up a barbeque with a special offer of a freshly cooked burger in a tasty roll for £2 - well why not I thought. It was delicious !! as was my dessert, a large slice of home made Coffee Cake. Everything was spick & span in the café, the staff are very friendly and the service excellent. There are magazines & newspapers to read while you wait and also very interesting and poignant photos and letters from the family Bailey members who were in WW1 - a lovely touch. Well worth a visit, it is on the same side of the street as the church - just a few doors along ~ A lovely family run café with super food and delicious coffee and cake at excellent value prices.

This is the second time I have visited this coffee shop and I will definitely be returning. There is a great variety of food available and it is very reasonabley priced.They also have a BBQ on a Saturday which I had a small sausage in a roll. Again good quality and a good price.Well worth a visit if you are after a lunchtime sandwich and coffee.

I always try all cofffe places in town where I live. I'm visiting this place from the begining as they opened as Bayleys Coffee shop. First thing witch impressed me was perfect tasting coffe.. Food taste nice, and you have big choise of sandwitch (and wraps, or bagets) fillings. Homemade cakes are delicious.. I was never dissapointed with this place. But best thing about this place is great feel like home service. I always get there when i want breakfast or lunch in town, and will always recomend this place for other.

After visiting this place nearly every other day for a while now, I can honestly say it's the best café in Sittingbourne. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the food is always great. Never had to complain once.The only downside is that sometimes there is nowhere to sit so it would be lovely to have more floor space, as if there is a queue people have to move to let others walk past the till. But I guess that's a good thing because the place is always full!

Another lovely lunch @ Baileys... Friendly staff as always ... Speedy service ... Fresh food ....good choice of sandwich fillings .... Including healthy options ...Competitive prices . I would recommend as a great place for lunch and will definitely be going back

We popped in here as we had tried a few others in Sittingbourne and they were either full of screaming kids of stank!! we were pleasantly surprised, We had a lovely cheese and salad sandwich and a cappuccino £4 a bargain. Lovely atmosphere. Good value for money nice and clean and comfy. We will come back next time we're in Sittingbourne

It's so nice to go somewhere that things are home cooked and my children can eat. So many places seem to struggle with gluten free but its great to see a small local company recognising the needs of everyone! Well done!!

Visit most saturdays, freshly made to order, wide variety of sandwiches, wraps and baguettes, best coffee, excellent value for money, lovely atmosphere and the staff are really friendly what more could you ask for? not to be missed, make a visit:)

Visited this place today for my lunch, and it was wonderful. The staff were lovely and the victoria sandwich cake was divine! Fantastic that the cheese baguettes were on offer for £2 too!

I've been in here a couple of times now, the food was good and fresh, and the coffee was hot and good.Always seems to be busy,which is a good thing. Staff are nice and friendly. There is also a garden so in the summer you can sit outside, it's not the best, but it's okay, give the place more room to sit customers. I will defo be popping in more .

Have a takeaway lunch at least once a week, never had a bad baguette or wrap yet! They get packed out with the filling and fresh salad, plus the staff are lovely too!!

I have been frequenting Bailey's since soon after it opened.With excellent friendly service, and freshly made wraps, baguettes and sandwiches made to order,Many a lunchtime has been spent enjoying a gorgeous mocha and a baguette, it really is baguette heaven!!Bailey's is a real gem on Sittingbourne High Street, oh and fast free wifi too!Possibly the best coffee shop in Kent!!!

The defining qualities of this coffee bar are 1. Friendly and efficient service 2. Nice wholesome food made freshly every day 3. Pleasant environment 4 Prices below the normal going rate.Its a really nice place for a daytime coffee & baguette. A great place for a working lunch.Tea comes in a ceramic teapot with proper cups and milk jugs and tea for two was only £1.50 at time of writing.
